  • starr08 says:

    she Looks very warm! :)

  • gtsa says:

I love the way Madonna has Mercy dressed here. The girl is clean, sharp.

  • Keepin' it real says:

    I love her outfit!!

  • Pisces says:

Mercy looks tired or swollen around the eyes from maybe being a little sick. At least t o me she does. But I love the way Mama Madonna dresses her! Express Yourself!

    • Sunshine says:

I have to agree! Mercy looks adorable. I love little girls who look like little girls. Madonna dressed Lourdes like a little girl when she was younger. Now she’s 14 and really espressing herself. LOL!

    • Pisces says:

It looks like Madonna just took Mercy to audition for the part of Celie when she was a little girl in The Color Purple (the play).

      • Pisces says:

Poor child’s face is just a little too greasy in this photo. I really think she must have been getting over a bout with a cold. Maybe that is Vicks Vapo Rub around her nose and mouth.

It looks cold..she should have had on mittens like Mama has on gloves.

        • Pisces says:

I wonder if Guy Ritchie, Madonna’s ex, still has visitation with the two youngest ones, or if Madonna is now just raising those two and Lourdes as a single Mom? For that matter, does he even hang with Rocco anymore? Hmmm.

          • Amber says:

Mercy might be having some skin allergies or is ill. She’s not too used to the weather so maybe that’s affecting her, but it should get better as time goes on. Maybe she has on some medicated cream or ointment on her face to help her out?

It looks like Madonna is raising the children as a single parent and she has full custody of all four, but she is very close friends with Carlos (Lourdes’ father). Carlos has said he talks to Lourdes daily and they see each other often. Carlos also visits and hangs out with Madonna as friends, according to him.

Guy is allowed to see the boys whenever he wants if he’s in town according to the custody agreement. I’m not sure how often he actually does see them since he lives in London and they live in NYC, but Madonna does take them to London during most holidays or school breaks. It seems the adults get along fine now for the sake of the children.

          • Pisces says:

            Thank you, Amber.

  • Deedra says:

I just adore this little girl she is way to cute…Awwww!!

  • Amber says:

By the way, to the site owners, I must say I loved that you said Mercy’s mom and brothers (and didn’t use the word adopted to make differences). :)

  • MixtryMama says:

It’s a good thing she dresses her so girly. She looks exactly like a boy in the face.

    • gtsa says:

To you she does. I see a girl there, but then again many kids at this age tend to look gender neutral save for the accesories and styling.

      • MixtryMama says:

If she was wearing boys’ clothing, no one would bat an eye because they’d automatically “see” a boy. Of course you “see a girl”, because you already know she’s a girl!

        • gtsa says:

Mercy’s lips, eyes and cheeks have a soft/feminine look in MY eyes, but then again you could be right. People mix up genders with this age ALL the time like I said. Mercy ain’t the only kid. If Johan (Seal & Heidi’s son) had two ponies and bangs, I wouldn’t think twice to say that was a girl if I hadn’t been clued in.

    • RileyE says:

Wow…is such a nasty comment needed? I’d honestly love to see what you look like. Likely as ugly as your comment.

      • Pisces says:

Well, it’s like the old song says, “Your Daddy’s rich and your Mama’s good looking”….we know Mama’s REALLY rich and is going to leave little Mercy enough money one day to afford the best plastic surgeons and/or psychiatrists in the world to help her through any “issues” she may have later in life.

      • Pisces says:

I don’t understand the interest in seeing what readers/commenters look like. We are not celebrities and our pictures and lives are not out there for public consumption.

  • Dmarie says:

Madonna got her looking nice I love her little coat! Mercy is a beautiful little girl and I hope she has everything a little girl could want God Bless her Lourdes Rocko and David!

  • LaKesha says:

It’s funny how on this site, people are soooooo critical concerning the hair, skin color, looks, etc. of small children. On other celebrity baby sites there is more discussion of parenting, maybe clothing or toy brands–but children aren’t so verbally beaten up on concerning looks–particularly racially sensitive feautures. We have to do better! It’s embarassing.

    • Pisces says:

I don’t think it’s funny, but curious how when certain kids are featured in photos at this site, some commenters choose to be in denial about what they see and choose to pretend that they’re living in the Fairyland world of The Emperor’s New Clothes.

I guess it is after all entirely subjective.

      • Amber says:

Some people have different tastes and may think one child is good looking while others may disagree, but the good thing is that often some have the courtesy to practice some decency when it comes to comments regarding children. If someone doesn’t like a child’s looks (and I’m not even talking about something that is changeable such as hair or clothes), it’s good to have in mind that thing our mothers said, “If you can’t say anything nice…” instead of making passive aggressive comments, or rude or mean comments some of which may have racist undertones about a child who has no choice as to how they look. These pictures are taken because most of the time the parents are famous, but the children didn’t choose that life and it’s not their fault they get photographed consistently. I don’t know why it’s necessary to put down children anyway. I think it says more about the poster than the child. If someone doesn’t care for a celebrity’s child or their looks, then they might consider skipping that post.

Lakesha its called self hatred it comes from feeling inferior.Lot of us feel having African features is a negative. 400 years of Slavery and discrimination will damage a community’s psyche.
