CHRISTINA MILIAN AND THE DREAM PLAN TO NAME THEIR DAUGHTER VIOLET
R&B singer-songwriter The-Dream is a proud-poppa to be! The Dream, whose real name is Terius Nash, is super excited about the impending birth of his daughter, who will be named Violet.
“The baby will be here Sunday, no later than Sunday!” The-Dream said to MTV News on Monday(February 22nd, 2010). The baby already has a car, I got a house just for the baby — Christina can’t get in the baby’s car. I’m giving all my attention that I usually give to Christina to the baby, all the flowers I usually give Christina, I’m giving them to the baby.”
“It’s a girl, Violet will be her first name,” he added.
The Dream says despite having his unborn daughter on his mind constantly, he still finds time to work.
“I’ve been working like a regular person works in America. They have jobs whether someone’s pregnant or not,” he laughed.
Ummh, that was definitely a strange interview,lol. Glad he’s excited about his daughter’s arrival but his comments were strange.
@MDgirl, LOL. I thought the same thing. Nonetheless, he seems to be excited about the birth of his daughter.
My hubby and I are expecting our first child (a daughter) together in May and he’s super excited too, but I told him don’t forget about giving me a little attention. I hope Dream, the dream, or whatever his name is, doesn’t forget to give his wife love and admiration. The love you have for your spouse and the love you have for your child are two different things. He shouldn’t abandoned either.

I think he was trying to be funny with that comment or at least I hope. Sometimes it is hard to get the flavor of someone comments when you see it in print.
Yes, the love is different and it does not need to made into a competition with regard to how the affection is expressed.
I’m glad he is excited about the arrival of his new baby girl but, don’t he have a few kids already with his ex wife Nivea! (Not trying to start anything I’m just asking)
Yeah, he and Nivea have a daughter and twin sons! But I would have thought Christina would have had that baby by now! She has been preggers forever!!!
I wonder if they got that idea from the Affleck’s because Violet is an unusual name these days, it’s pretty and old-fashioned and nice.

Yes, he has his daughter, Navy, with Nivea - who we have seen pics of and know her name.
Dream also has twin sons with Nivea - who we have never seen pics of nor do we know their sons’ names *very odd* !!!!
At least I have never seen pics of the twin sons’ or read their names’ on any blogs - have any of you seen pics or know their names? If so - what are the names of the twins ???

Not trying to be mean, but seriously Violet Nash? I mean she’s their child, but come on. I wonder if she was thinking about her last name when she came up with Violet. Violet Milian may not roll off the tonngue but it’s not exactly strange either. It could grow I guess (some names do, some don’t, and some get changed).
