I hate when people knock kids for sucking their thumb.I was a thumb sucker the first 12 years of my life my dad tried everything to get me to stop.and nothing worked until I was ready to stop.When I got to junior high and I realized that it was jacking my teeth up I stopped LMAO!

It’s not a healthy habit. You know how many germs she has on her hands. Your hand are the germiest part of your body because you touch everything with them. I was never allowed to suck my thumb as a kid. It’s really a disgusting habit if you think about all the germy sufaces we touch.EW!!

It’s a vErY hard habit to break because usually the habit starts from the womb. Everyone tried to get me to stop too; nothing eVeR works because it’s psychologically self- soothing. My teeth were never messed up though; one day she’ll just realize that it’s not socially acceptable and stop on her own. But as a former thumb sucker, I must speak up for her and say it is VeRy annoying when people tell you to stop or worse yank your thumb out! She’s little, and not hurting anyone. Her parents should just keep extra sanitizer around and encourage her not to do it in public. lol.

My son is a thumb sucker but he will not suck his thumb without a blanket, stuffed animal, car, etc., in his hand. I’ve seen a lot of children like this…wonder why?

They sent a million dollars to Doctors w/o Borders in Haiti the day after the earthquake. Also celebs often get free stuff from designers and companies. Gosh people criticize them for dressing the kids like “bums” and criticize if they wear expensive clothes. Brad and Angie are worth over $300 million so a $300 coat is like a $5 coat for most Americans

Well then do like most of us here and don’t buy one. But she has every right to spend however much of HER money that she wants on HER child. I will admit that with my current income, I wouldn’t spend that much on a coat either. But between her and Brad, they probably made more than 100 million last year. 330 dollars is not much to them. We already know that celebs spend more money on one item than many of us do on a month’s or even a year’s worth of clothes. But they make more in a year than many will make in a lifetime. Some things they buy seems ridiculous, like a maybach(sp?) or mercedes for a 16 year old, but I don’t think this is one of them. Further, I’ve seen Angie’s kids wearing eachother’s handmedowns. This coat will probably get a lot of use from her kids and then be donated if it’s still in a good condition.

They probably didn’t even pay for the coat. These designers aren’t stupid. They send free stuff to celebs, celebs wear them, broke folks who can’t afford them see the celebs in them, want to feel like they are celebrities, go out and spend their rent and grocery money to stunt, add, rinse, repeat. See: Beyonce, Rihanna, Brangelina, etc.

Anyway, $330 for them is probably $30 or less for regular folks. Not sure how much a girl’s coat would go for at WalMart or Target. Where I’m from, the most we’d need is a sweater.
As for the thumb sucking – *shrugs* As long as she grows out of it before her teens, and doesn’t end up like a 20-odd year old classmate of mine. Yea – that’s a sight to see. O_O
