Updated on 3/3/2010: Keyshia Cole has welcomed her first child with NBA player Daniel Gibson.
“Little Daniel is the cutes baby. KC did great, he’s a beauty. God is amazing,” says singer Monica Arnold, friend to Keyshia Cole.

Singer Keyshia Cole is in “active labor,” reports her friend and confidante Monica Arnold.
“She’s doing great. She’s in active labor but the baby has not been born yet as reported [by other media],” Monica wrote via social networking tool Twitter.
“Her son will be arriving tonight from what doctors see with her current state. She’s holding up like a real trooper. As her friend and mother myself, I’m beyond proud of her. She can’t wait to hold him,” Monica adds.
Keyshia and her fiance Daniel Gibson plan to name their son Daniel Gibson Jr.
“He will be named after his father. I love that. Lots of Men really love being named after they’re dad,” Monica confirms.
