Former NBA star John Salley, his wife Natasha and their daughter Giovanna attended the First Annual Oscar Suite of 100 Stars at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills, California last month.

When all the billions of dark skinned black people around the world start marrying/procreating with lighter people, THEN I’ll worry.

starr08, you are right. Light and dark mixing is gonna make a color alright, but not just one–lol. Already producing wide range of colors among the “biracials”. Many biracials end up with skin tone not much lighter than the “regular” blacks walking around.
I guess poster also forgot to add the large group of east indians and aborigines, some happen to be as dark as certain black africans.
Will say that we will probably see more “light skinned” blacks in the States or it will become more common place.
Also, light and dark is relative. As long as their is something considered to be light, their will be something considered to be dark.
Lastly, the one drop rule had other reasons for being put into place other than dominance over another. The “black” phenotype is typically dominant and some aesthetic representation of it can “Pop” out at any trajectory in a generation…
There have been cases of “whites” producing “black looking” offspring. Somewhere down the line both likely had a black ancestor, not to mention genes are just unpredictable.
