LEE DANIELS AND HIS PRECIOUS DAUGHTER ATTEND THE OSCARS
Director Lee Daniels and daughter Clara,13, arrived at the 82nd Annual Academy Awards held on March 7, 2010 in Hollywood, California.
Film Precious:based on the novel Push by Sapphire was directed by Lee Daniels and is the second film by him (his first was movie Shadowboxer).
Lee also has a son named Liam Samad, who is Clara’s twin.

Pretty daughter. Please let forget The Parkers. I hated that show. She has really moved onto another level. So glad she received the award. It’s hard for me to look at her in that role because my mind goes back the ROSCOE JENKINS, which I truly loved her role as the sister. That was too funny. Go Monique. Congratulations!

Being gay has nothing to do with him having children. He could have had them because he and his partner wanted them; or maybe, like you said, he had them when he was trying to deny his sexuality by conducting himself the way society demanded.

Once again I asked a question that was not open ended. I wanted an answer to my question not someone’s opinion. That is why I asked for someone to clarify.
If I ask is someone from Denmark then I want someone who knows for a fact if X is from Denmark.
I know gay people have children, I wanted to know if these were his biological children or if they were adopted.
While this is an open forum and any one can answer a question, I personally would not answer a question that I didn’t have a definite answer to. Just me!

On another site, it really bugged me that they kept saying Mr. Daniels is “down low”.
As much as I hate that word, the man is openly gay!
He happily showed pictures of himself and his partner of many years, on the HBO show, “Black In America”.
He also talked about how he adopted his sibling’s children, because of a drug addiction they had. Forgot if it was his brother or sister.
He even kissed his partner on the Independant Spirit Awards.
Sometimes it doesnt hurt to take a second to read about someone, especially before making decision about them.
That statement is for the websites and its followers who’s been nothing but cruel to that man, for no reason.

I was so dissappointed that he didn’t win that Best Director award, but I hope that things will open up more for him to allow us to see more of this talented man. i like the color and overall shape of Clara’s dress, but definitely not the cut at the sides. especially on a 13 yr old. but that’s just me. wonder why her twin didn’t attend. anyways, so proud of Lee Daniels for his nomination. great film.
