Actor Don Cheadle and Bridgid Coulter have been married for nearly twenty years now-that’s two decades!

“I am somebody who really does want to make sure my relationship stays together and that I am there for the important parts of my kids’ life,” Don says in an interview with Parade magazine.

Together Cheadle and Bridgid have daughters Ayana Tai, 14, and Imani, 12.

“There’s going to be a time where they’ll be like, ‘Please go away for three months and do a movie.’ But while they’re still like, ‘Daddy, I want you here,’ then I want to deliver for them. So it’s a juggling act. It’s really tricky. But it’s worth everything it takes.”

Cheadle plays the role of a NYPD Detective named Tango Butler in his new film Brooklyn’s Finest, which is out in theaters now.

IMDB says long time girlfriend, not spouse.

well, i also did some research and he referred to her as his wife. Here is a quote that he said in an interview with USA weekend

Don Cheadle was asked: Youdidn’t gamble with the guys while filming in Vegas?

[Clooney and Damon] got down. I got, like, 4 grand on a $60 bet. And then I was done. I was with my wife, and we walked away and said, “OK — that paid for our trip.”

He said on THE VIEW the other day that he is married. I was surprised because I always thought it was his long time girlfriend as well.

I LOVE Don Cheadle as an actor, and he seems like a really great father!

I remember reading how when his daughters where born he had someone teach him how to do cornrows, so he could braid his daughters hair…he puts the little beads in and everything!

I love that, it’s really sweet!

I know that’s right. People do that to feel high and mighty when we are all beautiful no matter what. Too bad people go that route to try to feel important

Thanks Pisces. Most of us may not agree all the time but we have to do better with each other. Life is too short for that petty mess. How are children going to be loving if we don’t show it to each other?

I was think the same exact thing. Sometimes we (women) are our own worse enemies. Have a beautiful day!

I didn’t remember her from Martin, just Rosewood. Loved them in the movie and love that they are still together. He is a fabulous actor. Brooklyn’s Finest was good but I didn’t like the ending.

I would say me too but IDK I just had a feeling what was going to happen, I was wrong about Richard Gere though. It reminded me of The Departed a little bit, another good but very long movie lol
