Phoenix and Melanie aren’t the only ones in the family with the trendy shaved hairstyle. In case you didn’t know, little Angel Iris,2, is also a member of the shaved-hair club((click here to see).

These pics actually look better than the last ones because the last pics made the cut look jacked up but these actually make it look a little decent but I’m still not a fan of this haircut.sorry.

Now these ‘hawks get a pass. Melanie, did you get the memo–lol.

Seriously, her daughter’s hair actually looks cute here, nice improvement from the last pic where the ‘hawk was looking to be in flight or a fight, one or the other.

Still thinks she is a little young at 11 for this edgy/punky do’ with highlights but she is not my kid and if she likes it then great.

Do your thing Mel B. They are your children & as long as you are not putting them in harms way…do you. It’s just hair.

Guess people would like it better if you had put a weave or relaxer in your girls hair instead.

Pls no one but you & your children

      Sherley,

I can’t speak for what “people” would prefer Mel does with her girls hair. However, I can speak for myself and say that mohawking a two year-old little girl’s head is wrong in so many ways. As far as the “relaxer and weave” statement… Let’s just say that you could’ve kept that to yourself because I have never known a civilized black woman to relax or weave a two year-old’s head.

Being a celebrity comes with the gossip and opinions, hence the numerous celebrity blogs. Just felt like sharing my .02.

        Woman please.

I used to be a social worker at a day care, many of hte children were bald by age 5 becasue their moms would relax their hair at age 3.

I have a picture of a group of young 6 year olds w/weave ponytails in their hair.

I have seen it & counseled women about it.

Your opinion matters to me in the same manner it matters to Mel B.

BCK, enough with Mel B and her shaved head kids! She hasn’t been relevant since the 90s and people only began talking about her again because Eddie hit it and quit it. It’s been concluded, most ppl don’t like the hair style, blah blah blah. They’re her kids and she can hack their hair if she wants. Moving on.

“That was just plain mean” Lol, sensitive behind ppl! It was the truth! She has done nothing relevant since Spice Girls and the only reason there’s a post about her every other day is because she shaved her kids’ heads! It’s old already. And you have every right to skip over my comment instead of adding your two cents on my opinion! Thank you anyway, Lisa!

Hi PlainMean. I’ve been enjoying reading you as always. If people were to read about Scary Spice at other blogs, they’d find that BCK is one of the more kinder ones to her, probably for the sake of her kids.

I saw pictures of her posing in a bikini with her rock hard abs shining and her “husband” standing next to her grinning in the photo op. A blogger wrote “She (Mel) looks like a Montauk monster”.

Your estimation of her is not mean, it is correct and you and I can state that if we feel like it.

Lol glad I can entertain you a little Pisces! I think I spoke pretty honestly about Mel B! Heck, getting pregnant by Eddie was a big boost to her popularity. I don’t even remember little Angel being featured on this site much before she was given a mohawk!

@PlainMean, yes your right. I found that quote from a male blogger posted at a site that men mainly frequent. There were pictures of Mel scantily dressed an the comments spoke to how manly looking she’s becoming.

I had to look up what a montauk monster looked like and it’s not a pretty yhing. It’s scary looking. And a lot of the comments had racial slurs attached to them too regarding Mel’s appearance.

So much for the argument about all bi-racial people being considered beautiful…Mel B.’s Mom can’t get any whiter and aside from the Mel’s beautiful coloring she looks dead on her mother…who, by the way, Mel won’t speak to since marrying her latest hubby.

All people have to do is a little research if they care to verify the info.

I don’t want you to think that I take lightly when these “tiffs” that people pull you into at this site. I know from personal experience that when you’re caught up in it, it’s nothing nice or pleasant to experience.

I like that you still express yourself, anyhoo!

At another Black celebrity gossip site, I read that when Angel was only 2 months old and her sister Phoenix was 8 years old, Mel B left them with a house cleaner, Tonia Lamere for 4 days while she was off getting married in Las Vegas to Stephen Belafonte.

“One evening of babysitting turned into 4 days. The child was sick, there was no nanny and when Mel called, she never even asked about the baby.”

Former house keeper, Tonia Lamere said she was forced to buy Iris Murphy Brown and her sister food from her own pocket.

If that went on almost 3 years ago, I can imagine what’s happening now. But because of who she is, child protective services weren’t involved then and probably will continue not to be.

I know Mel’s fans here will probably tear me a new one for this comment, but, oh, well. Life’s a risk.

i’m wondering how much she hates her kids’ fathers to do this to their heads. i know good and well no 2 yr old asks for a buzz and a permed mohawk. and certainly this 11 yr old doesn’t seem like the type to ask for an edgy sidehawk with some highlights in the front. so i’m just wondering if Mel B is going through some type of early life crisis that is manifesting itself in her kids’ heads. not to mention she could be damaging the texture of their hair for the rest of their lives. perms and hair altering chemicals is nothing to scoff at or take lightly. especially on children who are still growing. just saying.

I do not think the mohawk becomes Mel-B and her daughters. You want to add pluses to your looks not minuses. I assume Mel B is feeling guilty about giving the younger girl that dufus looking hair do until it is eating her up; therefore, she is taking it out on herself by wearing it, also.
