She is so beautiful. I really enjoyed the interview. Girl, people are annoying as all heck even though they sometimes probably don’t mean any harm, but still let people navigate their own lives. It’s always these “rules.”

@ Leo – exactly.

My husband and I will celebrate our 3rd anniversary this June, and let me tell you, the “when are you gonna have kids” discussion is annoying as all hell. At this point we’re both in school, and not sure if we even want kids in the first place. When you don’t have kids people say “when are you gonna have kids”, “you’re getting older”, or “what’s the problem”. When you do have them and you’re struggling you get, “well you should have waited”, “you’re still young, you could have waited a bit longer”. Ugh.

Leo, you are on point again. I don’t know why people try to push babies off on someone when they, 1) don’t want one, or 2) are not ready for one. Some people don’t need to have babies to feel validated. She has one beautiful daughter, and I’m sure she’s grateful for that. When they are ready for more, I’m sure they’ll have more. Great point!

I wish people would just butt out and let the couple deal with how and when they want to expand their family. If she’d rather not have two or more heavily dependent babies underfoot, that’s her and her husband’s choice – not yours.
