MONICA ARNOLD: MY CHILDREN COME FIRST
In exactly one week, singer Monica Arnold will release her 6th studio album,Still Standing. Monica’s latest album comes after a brief musical hiatus.
“I love what I do, but I also love my family, my children- they keep me very grounded, and give me a very happy heart. When I work as hard as I do, it’s good to have a break and enjoy those other things,” the singer says of having to take breaks in between album releases.
And the mom of two-Romelo,2, and Lil Rocko,4- certainly knows how to balance her career and motherhood.
“The balance is this… my children come first, if something happens with them, all bets are off. I have lots of years of me just working diligently, and pursuing my music career, so I was ready to be a mother, I’ve been fortunate to have great family with me in Atlanta, with whom my kids can stay with anytime. This was all meant to be, music and family, so I’m just happy that I can do both at the same time.”

I love Monica. She’s always seems like a Woman who has her priorities in order. You never hear any ish on her. She’s always consistently on her A game. I will be picking up that CD when it drops.

Who didn’t know that was coming? They were engaged forever. It was apparent that he was not going to marry her. You could tell from the show that there was absolutely no chemistry between the two. I don’t know what took her so long. I guess the kids. I just wish that Monica would have waited for someone worth spendng her life with, to make babies. I hope her love for God will make her, love her self even more!
I also love her and will be buying her album. Her and the boys are beautiful. Thank God for Monica’s genes. lol

Monica always take a break before she puts out a new album, I just hope it’s nicer than the last. Her last album was kind of whack compared to the others.

I think her last cd not being good had more to do with management/label than her. Atleast that’s what I gathered from her show. They seem to keep pushing songs on her that they think we want to hear. She is maturing and she wants her music to mature with her and the fans that have been with her since the beginning but her label wants her to appeal to the younger crowd with club music. But anyway, what I’ve heard on the show so far is really good. I will be buying the cd.

Marriage isn’t everything. But, obivous it is what she wanted, considering she was engaged and had two babies by him. I’m not going to start the Bible throwing. But, we all know how God intended for it to be. Monica is suppose to be a lover of the Lord and we know that nobody is perfect. I love love Monica and it is in the end her life.
