“The first time I met Louis, it was like the whole world just got quiet. He was so small, so still. All the trivial things that I had allowed to take up so much of my time just didn’t have room in life anymore . All I said when i met him was, ‘hey, there you are.’ It was like he had always been a part of our lives. Life just shifted to be about Louis and what was needed for him. No hiccup. It just fit, and I never had another moment of worry again,” Sandra says of her son.

It’s sad that some of us would rather see innocent children grow up in the foster system rather that have someone adopt them and have them grow in a home filled with love. It’s sad that some of us would rather have a child adopted by someone of the same race rather than having these children adopted by people who love, cherish and respect them. People need to ask themselves, “what are you doing to better the lives of the children in foster care.” If nothing, than keep your mouths shut. Come on black people-wise up!!

We’re all God’s children whether we live nationally or internationally. He favors no one and neither should we; therefore, Sandra welcoming an adopted American child into her heart makes her no better than Angelina Jolie who adopted internationally. Also, Sandra’s words about Louis are just as precious as the pictures.

Sandra said when Louis came home it was the worst possible timing – just before the Oscars. They waited 4 years and just when she and her husband were under the brightest spotlight, Louis arrives. It goes to show you the Lord may not be there when you want Him, but He is right on time! What a blessing this baby must be to Sandra right now.
Sandra thought she was saving a child, but Louis has saved her too.
Why would the Lord give Sandra B. that beautiful baby and not other deserving women? The Lord is not partial. She will make a wonderful mother.

confused in what way? are you comparing this to the thousands of afro american children already in foster homes that were given away by their afro american parents or by the number of afro american children already in foster homes that are misunderstood by their afro american foster parents???? not all children of color that are adopted are confused. Or maybe you are confused, and just cant stand the fact that God does not look at color.

I really like Sandra Bullock [ever since Ms. Congeniality
] and I believe she is 100% genuine. I have a VERY low opinion about her ex–let’s just say the word “low” should be printed in a dictionary with a picture of his face accompanying it. Considering the details that have leaked out about him and the gal he cheated with, I wonder what he thinks about Sandra’s adoption of her new baby son. This adoption was a surprise to me, and I personally think it is wonderful. Louis is so cute!
