Yes people do need to be married to have babies and sex! That is the problem. People like you with no morals and that is why the would is in shambles! If more of us listen to what the bible said and not have children out of wedlock then there would not be so many single mothers with boys who they can’t raise on their own. Those boys ten turn out to be out of control and thus the cycle continues….wake up people! Being married before having a child is not a tradition, it is a MUST!!!!
This world is in shambles because it keeps maintain OLD mores and rules instead of adapting and adjusting to new scenarios. Where does the tradition of marriage come from? What is the history? Is it patriarchal and what does that mean for working women today? I don’t even consider myself a feminist but I do know when something is no longer effective or of the times. The institution of marriage needs to be reformed for the sake of children, esp. young black girls.

I usually handwave all those star pregnancy rumors and pictures but there is a picture of Alicia on [another website's] magazine’s website and she really looks pregnant. So I wouldn’t dismiss the pregnancy talk in her case.

i guess only time will tell if Alicia Keys really is pregnant. Beyonce has been rumored to be pregnant many a time and has yet to produce a child. on the other hand, Jennifer Hudson was heavily pregnant while doing public appearances and performances and never really confirmed it or talked about it until after her child was born, seems like lol! so i guess we’ll have to wait and see.
it’s so sad what happened to that 2 yr old child. that man should go down for what he did to that poor defenseless little girl. and i hope that lady never gets her other kids back. i know there are really young mothers out there who are excellent parents. but this lady right here doesn’t deserve to have any kids. she obviously is not thinking in their best interests.

The basketball shoe incident shows how women can be stupid. Just because you think you are in love with him doesn’t mean he’s inlove with your kids. Unless you are married to this person & have known him for a long time, you should never leave your child(ren) alone w/him. She’s 23 & has 3 children, 4, 2 & 1, was told to take an obviously sick child to the ER & ignored the suggestion. Yea she deserves to be charge. The guy deserves to be beaten like he did the child & see how he likes it.

Alicia kind of looks pregnant especially in the 2nd pic. About the toddler who was beaten to death by her mother’s boyfriend that is so sad. Men sometimes don’t have the a patience a woman has. Why would anyone beat a 2 year old like that just because they had an accident on the floor? There are other ways to discipline children than beating them.

A lot of celebs are just as irresponsible as the non-spot light people having a baby and not married. No more role models today for young adults.
well…I am not married…but I have one child…I do think I am a good person, a good role model for my daughter, my niece, my nephew, and my god-daughter…
there are some people that are really irresponsible who do have kids and are not married….but they would still be irresponsible people if they weren´t married…..a wedding paper does not make You a good role model….anyway….didn´t want to attack You, just wanted to state my view of the story.
Definitely agree with Tanja! i dont understand why someone would right something like that??!! i mean really?!! people never Cease to amaze me..i know plenty of “married people” who are the sCum of the earth, Cheat on there spouses, beat on there spouses,treat there spouses like Crap, and pretty muCh do not even RESPECT the ConCept of marriage…soooooo ummmm that says it all…SMH at the ignoranCe of people these days! i know plenty of unmarried people who are absolute ROLE MODELS and plus i give them RESPECT beCause they do it smart…if they do deCide to end a relationship they dont have to pay no attorney, splitting no assets or money, or nothing, they dont have to worry bout NADA..i say that is the SMART way to go
