In the new Karate Kid remake, child star Jaden Smith,11, knows how to fight off his bullies, but when it comes to his little sister, Jaden admits that he is defenseless.
“I scream for my mom,” Smith says of 9-year-old Willow Smith. “She usually takes Willow’s side. My dad takes Willow’s side, too. That’s why I usually hang out with my brother [Trey]. I don’t bully anyone.”
Adds Smith’s costar Jackie Chan, “Jaden’s a good kid, [but] he’s always bullied by his sister.”

I’ve been roaming BCK site or the past 3+ years but was never tempted to comment until recently. You guys read way too much from an instant photo and possibly an image people portray whilst walking a red carpet. Most of what you see of these so called “Celebrities” and their family is just that…a picture so it is very difficult to form an accurate judgement of anyone. In essence we are a society of “Actors & Actresses”, Men Pleasers if you like giving a yearning public an impression which many times is far from the truth of our lives.
So just Enjoy their Photos…..that’s what I look at anyway.
By the way where is Maryamb, Blue (who had the pic of Danielle from ANTM), Modelchic, Mrs Umer Etc? Anyone knows?
I guess we all move on according to our priorities at times, and so we should, because this life of Fame can be quite Enthralling!

I am the baby of the family. My sister and brother are 7 and 8 years older than I am. I’ve never been bullied by them, nor have I bullied them. I did, however, get away with A LOT and was very spoiled, but we never put our hands on each other. I don’t believe anyone should be putting their hands on another person, and just because a girl is the one doing the bullying, doesn’t mean she should get away with it.
I used to be so proud of them all, but now…not so much. That whole family is really really really disfunctional. A strong black family reduced to nothing but a freakshow and a tragedy. when both parents are soooooo out there, the kids have almost zero chance.
I’m the baby in my family and my brother and siter said that my mom let me get away with more. Sometimes it was true and I sometimes used the fact that I was the baby as as advantage but not all the time. Willow and Jaden are brother and siter and brothers and sister fight it’s a part of being a kid. When they’re older they probably will look back and laugh at the silly fights they had like me and my siblings do.
Why are u guys taking his statement so seriously I highly doubt willow terrorizes him and nobody says anything we were all kids once she’s the baby and I’m sure her older brothers double team her that’s what big brothers do and according to her they do. Kids always play the innocent vi ctim come on now we know that no need to call CPS or DCFS little jaden Smith is okay…and middle child syndrome oh please his parents put up millions so he can have his own movie he’s getting plenty of love over there don’t worry

I have a older brother and i use to do the same thing and when my mom wasnt around I paid for it. But we loved each other and we laugh about it now it part of being sibling. Little sister have been picking on big brother from the beginning of time it what we do.
I do not think that willow should be bullying anybody, even if she is the youngest. That is not fair when you are bein bullied. I am bullied at home and school so I know what it feels like when people call you names or hit ,you. It is not te greatest feelin in the world. I am middle child too. I feel your pain Jaden.keep hanging in there it might get better . But for now you have to deal with it just like I have too. With love you are he best and the cutest than all these old hags that want to hate on people and they click on an article and put a bad comment in it. What’s the point in putting bad comments or even clicking in this? I am one month older than Jaden and I am more mature and even smarter than these commenters. I don’t care what anyone says about the Smiths’ parenting and how they dress their kids – every time their children speak I get the impression that they are intelligent, respectful, and well-rounded kids. They know how to pose for the camera, but so what they’re fab!Lol i’ll wait on the movie to hit the redbox though!

That’s the way it goes. Mother’s normally take up for the baby child. I still don’t like Williow’s hair or her style of clothes.

I have 4 older brothers & 3 younger brothers. My advice to Jaden, stop screaming for mom & start fighting back.
I learned how to put one brother in a leg lock while the other brother was is in a headlock. By the time I was 15, they had stopped picking on me.
Yes, he needs to learn how to stand up to her. I suppose it will come in time but if the parents don’t have his back, he’s going to have to do it himself.

i no when i read it i felt kinda bad. i mean it might not be that serious but its just sad to know that he has to go to his brother just to get a little peace. im the middle child and i know exactly how it feels when mom and dad takes the younger child side. my older sis is out the house so its me and my lil sister and she gets evrything. i jus tend to keep to myself.
i cant wait to see his movie. he is sooo adorable.. im taken that little sis of mine. i have to pay for the movie but she will pay for the popcorn.. LOL

Same here!!. I have 2 older brothers & lots of older male cousins & we’re all adults but I still “bully” them to death. But it’s all love, so people should back off of Jaden. I’m sure that no one else but his little sister can bully him.

I don’t know. Maybe it’s just me, but the above comment didn’t sit well with me. I thought it was going to be more of a “fun” tone, but this doesn’t sound like it’s too much fun for Jaden. I sure they wouldn’t allow him to hit Willow, so why would they “take her side.”

I think you have a point Teri. This doesn’t seem like fun all the time. Look at the way her said she USUALLY takes Willow’s side…that can be hard remember he’s only 11 years old. Then add the fact that Will takes his sister’s side,too. POOR THING. IT HAPPENS TO MOST MIDDLE CHILDREN THEY USUALLY FEEL MORE UPSET THEN THEIR SIBLINGS. The older one usually gets to do what they want, especially Trey ‘casue he’s 17 and the youngest gets away with murder so to speak. “you can’t do what your older brother or sister can do ’cause you’re not old enough” and then it’s like “don’t pick on your little sister or brother you should know better you’re older he or she is only (insert age) years old”. Middle child syndrome, it’s not a joke.
I co-sign with that…I’m a middle child and I swear my siblings and mom are always saying one thing or the other about my attitude and what I do and i’m 22 now!!! lolol. the youngest is 17 and they overlook what she does.

I am the middle child too, they always took my brothers side because he was the oldest or they would take my younger sisters side because she was the baby, it was really unfair growing up but I am the one know who has a good head on my shoulders, my brother and sister have issues, lol.

Don’t worry about it. As far as I’ve read, middle children end up being the most well adjusted due to all the jockeying for position in families. Spoken like the true middle child that I am.
