Jaden Smith,11, and Willow Smith,9, pose at the premiere of “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” on June 24, 2010 in Los Angeles, California.

According to sources, Jaden is planning to travel to Hong Kong this summer so that he can continue to  perfect his martial arts.

“Now he’s asking to send him to Hong Kong for two months so he can continue his training. So I’ll probably go to Hong Kong for two months and do that,” Jaden’s mom, Jada Pinkett-Smith said recently.

Pinkett-Smith adds, “I’ll take Willow because she’s learning Mandarin. She loves to learn Mandarin.”

I think both look more like Will too. I can’t say that one or the other really looks like Jada though I clearly see they are Jada influenced there -lol.

I think both children are very cute. Willow’s eye color is like a those of a big cat (tiger?)–pretty. The little handsome one is looking a little tuckered in these pics, so much premiering ot that Karate Kid remake may be the culprit.

jaden looked like his mom until she gor those unnatural vampire cheek implants. Look at pictures of her 5 years ago, minus the cheek implants.

Spoilt kids in my opinion. Instead of attending premieres and events, they should be with their mates and in school.

Don’t think this will do them well.

cute kids. Willow looks just like her dad, ears and all. she did get her moms eyes. i pray they start letting her look her age, not a little Rhianna. She’s way too young for that. She’s still in elementary school. What will she look like at 14?

They sure are lucky kids! Good for Jaden for wanting to finish what he started. I love that Willow is learning Mandarin! I’m learning too…Ni Hao! :) . I just hope that Will & Jada do like Michael Jackson did for his kids by making sure they stay un-fazed by the glitz & unspoilt by their oppulent lives.

I ate lunch in a Japanese restaurant today and overheard two Asian girls gushing over how cute they thought Jaden was in the movie.

Little man has budding sex appeal. I guess like his Papa san, Will.

I don’t think we can compare these two kids to your avg child. How many kids are learning a 2nd language at 9 in school nowadays, and especially mandarin? Unfortunately, most public school kids can barely handle English, let alone talking about learning a 2nd language. What public school do you know that even offers mandarin? And as I understand it, they do go to a regular school with peers, not tutors. I don’t see their situation as the same as the Jackson kids. Again, the Smith kids are not your avg kids, hell how many of us adults have been to hong kong? lol.

In Chicago, we have alot of public schools that offer Spanish, Madarin Chinese, Japanese, French, Italian, and Latin starting in Kindergarten-12 (A.P). So we have alot of kids learning a second language in our public schools (and private). So there is no excuse. Our kids aren’t average or regular kids they are kids just like Jaden and Willow are.

Dakota Fanning has money is just as rich and famous and she was on Jimmy Kimmel show this week talking about how she attends a public high and is studying her SAT. Famous and rich kids need a education a good education too. Money and fame can dissapear. ANYTHING can happen but if you knowledge and a college degree no one can take that from you and you can always find work and support yourself.

I don’t beleive in putting these kids in a seperate boat just because they are Will and Jada kids and they are rich and famous. Because all of those things can vanish.

Fanning only started attending public school once she reacheed high school. You better believe she was homeschooled while filming those movies as a child.

Why invest so much time worrying about these children? However they are brought up by their parents, there is nothing that any one of us can do to change it. I mean, sure- I have my own opinions about other people’s kids, but what can you do? I always think about what it does when these children or their friends google themselves and read what grown people are saying about them (although I’m starting to think that most of the comments on here are not posted by adults). They’re still children, even if they live an “out of the ordinary” lifestyle. All we can do is hope that they are raised in love. I’m not lecturing anyone, I just think there are more important things to be concerned with…

True their parents can bring them up anyway they want but this is a free country and we can say whatever we like. If they didn’t want people to talk or comment or voise their opinions about their kids then don’t thrust them into being famous, on tv, music or movies becuse this is the price they will pay or even worst. This is life if you want to be famous nowadays, like it or not.

People are simply commenting on the subjects of the post. How do you get that they are spending all day and night agonizing over their upbringing? It’s not that serious. If you look at 100% of the other posts here you’ll find people giving their opinions on the people in them.

The children are in school. They go to their parents school New Village, I believe. Let them have some fun, sheessh. It’s summer for crying out loud. Can’t wait to see them at the BET Awards

Not true. They are enrolled at that school “New Village” but they rarely attend. Yes it is summer now but all year neither one of those kids are in school.

If these were some other kids that were never in school then people would report it but sense its Will and Jada, and bc they got money. oh its ok.

They will end up a mess and in trouble just like Miley, Brittany and Lindsay, wait and see. All of them have money but is as dumb as a door knob that is why they stay in trouble, court all of the time.

can someone explain why on Earth these particular kids need to be in school during their summer vacation? The double standards towards them never cease to amaze me, there’s plenty of kids featured on BCK that we never see going to and from school that doesn’t mean they aren’t being properly educated.

They look cute, but i’m in the minority b/c I see Jada all in Willow’s smile, esp. in that 4th pic. I think it’s great she’s continuing her Mandarin studies. Jada said she loves Barnes and Noble & reads at a six grade level too, whatever they’re doing they seem to be doing it right.

    They are movie stars lol.
At least they have a tutor. It would be different if they had absolutely no education.
You can’t compare them to other 9 & 11 y/o because most kids that age don’t have box-office hits and/or superstar parents.
Keep up the good work Smith Family! :)

This is the best picture I have seen of these two.

    Love it..all of it.

Jaden prepping for Karate Kid 2. My son learning Madarin from Nick Jr as well, he can hold a conversation w/them at the Korean store. You should see their faces when they hear a black child speaking Mandarin…I feel so proud.

Jaden expressed an interest in being in the Twillight movies. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was in one of the last two.

I think I know what it is — Jaden Smith seems more like a ‘brand’ that they are building rather than a child who is acting. Every time we see im hes being advertised – hes just over done and its hard to stomach something that being forced on you.

A while back Jada mentioned in an interview that the kids were homeschooled. Tons of “normal” kids are homeschooled here in California because the educational system is sooooo screwed up. Plus Will’s mom was a teacher, Will is very smart – turned down a scholarship to MIT engineering school and he’s extremely big on education so I don’t think his children aren’t being educated.

Jaden looks like Jada but has his dads demeanor and charisma written all over him. Will did say Jaden was his seed, and there’s no denying that….LOL. Willow looks like Will but Jada said she’s more like her, she’s a wild child and I completely see it…LOL

I think Will and Jada are pretty grounded individuals and won’t allow for those kids to get “a big head” – I think they’ll be ok. There’s lots of child actors who turned out just fine, we only here/read/see the negative.

Tom said: He just seems cocky and kind of gives out the ”i’m all that” impression when i see him in photos and interviews.

Remember the kid was/is 11 years old who just turned 12 in July. How many 12 year olds do you know who isn’t like that? The thing is Jaden is so smart he comes across as being older and some people get put off by what he says. I watched on youtube a clip when Jaden was on Ellen for the movie, “the day the earth stood still” and he was so cute and sweet, now he’s between being a little kid and being a teen and boys this age usually are a bit cocky, my two sons were the same but they grow out of it. So I say give the kid a break.

I don’t have a doubt that Will will pull him in if it gets outta hand.

Yeah i heard he’s in some Christian Private school, which is prehaps why he is the only one in my opinion out of the kids, that comes across as normal and level-headed.

I don’t know, but theres something about Jaden that grates me, yet i don’t know what it is. He’s a very cute, talented kid (was great in the Karate Kid, loved the movie) but i have always found it hard to warm to him for some reason, even more than the little girl.

He just seems cocky and kind of gives out the ”i’m all that” impression when i see him in photos and interviews.

I read a blog/article on CNN, which gained over 1000 responses where the author was writing ”why all the hatred for Jaden Smith”. It seems alot of people share my view.

I like Jada and Will but I think it is something missing with them and these two kids. Something that isn’t normal. I can put my finger on it.
