@ aja I think Dame really loved a cared about aaliyah. Y would he want to play her. she was a beautiful girl and very talented. You never heard too many bad things about her and she had a great personality. They were talking marriage before she passed. Sadly the day it happened they say she was in a rush to get back to him thats why they were all on that jet. I know he was really crushed when she died. I miss AALIYA ALOT! I gave my daughter that name as a middle name but I spell it different.

aaliyah and he had been together a good little while before she died. She died nine years ago, dame has a nine year old child with rachel…do the math. It’s true, he never broke up with rachel and was messing with them both at the same time. Not only that, he was right back to being seen out with rachel almost immediately after aaliyah passed. He was dating her because she was the hot thing at the time and dame wanted nothing more than to be famous like diddy. Aaliyah had dated jay z just before she got with dame. She was passed around like kim kardashian. Not to say he had no feelongs at all for her but i’ll guarantee he had no real plans of marrying her.

I for one did not know this. I didn’t know she dated so many people ’cause wasn’t R. Kelly and Timbaland in the mix too? I was only 13 when she died, so i didn’t know the background history. Still, i loved and continue to love Aaliyah’s music…she looked like such an angel R.I.P.:) The world lost a major talented young lady.

R Kelly wasn’t in the mix when she was dating Jay and Dame. Her and Kells were married when “Age Ain’t Nothing but a Number”(like 95/96-ish, and yes she was still a teenager). I don’t think she ever dated Timbaland (that’s the first time I heard that), but I think they were just close friends. It seems like Tim/Missy Elliott/Ginuwine treated her more like a little sister.

You never know with genes, but I doubt it. Just look at the differences between Tallulah and Ava. They have the same mix yet look nothing alike.

Tallulah has the same skin tone and similar hair colour (golden: light brown with a mix of blonde)to Nahla’s. Halle’s daughter has more white in her yet Rachel’s daughter looks the same. Genes are interesting.

Really?–lol. I have seen biracials and lighter blacks have kids with whites and the kids still come out mostly “brown” or appear (realize this is somewhat subjective) more “black” than “white” You just really don’t know ’cause gene expression for the zillionth time is just random like that.

She was never in a relationship with Timbaland. Her relationship with Jay-Z isn’t clear either. That’s to whoever is stating info about her life as if it’s fact. She still has a mother, father and brother. Would you want people to talk about your deceased relatives that way? No you wouldn’t.

Seeing as Rachel Roy is not even black, not even half black why wouldnt her child come out this fair her mother is white and her father is Indian. Do some checking before you start questioning someones paterinty
