The Obamas returned from their weekend-long getaway from Bar Harbor, Maine on July 18, 2010:
“President Barack Obama and the first family said goodbye to Maine on Sunday after an energetic weekend vacation along the Atlantic coast.The president, first lady Michelle Obama and daughters Malia and Sasha boarded a small military jet serving as Air Force One and took off from the Bar Harbor airport, returning to the White House by midday.
The Obamas spent much of their time hiking and biking in Acadia National Park. They also played tennis, went boating and enjoyed the food in the resort town of Bar Harbor. From the moment they arrived on Friday, it was clear they were determined to make the most of their time, much of it spent in the park (Source).”

aww, Malia got braces! i guess they were waiting for all her adult teeth to fully come in. or until she turned 12, one of the two lol!
yeah, you usually have to wait until at least 12 for the braces.

I never get tired of seeing our First Family. They look tired in these pictures or like they did not want to come back.
I’m betting on the they didn’t want to come back. Vacations are so peaceful & nice. Coming back to living the life of Presidency, vacations are necessary.

Yeah, Malia is very tall. The president said that she is 5’9″. That’s awfully tall for a 12 year old. She is a real beauty.

Michelle made all of that fuss about her girls’ weight and it looks like little Sasha has gained some more. As long as they’re active and healthy, I wouldn’t worry about that BMI crap!
