FITNESS TIPS FROM A FIT MOM
Want to get healthy? Drink “good old fashioned water,” says celebrity mom Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas. The fit mom tells us how she has managed to stay trim all these years:
“That’s right, flushing your system out with water is a great way to get your body on the right track. I suggest doing a 48 hour detox. Just drink your water all day during that 48 hour time period to flush all the impurities out of your system. During that time you are going to immediately feel the difference and trust me you’ll see the results. I can’t stress how important water is.
If you haven’t been working out in awhile you shouldn’t be intimidated to start. For me basic things are key. Push-ups and jumping jacks are a good place to start. Set a goal to do 50 a day. I would suggest three sets of jumping jacks 50 the first time, 40 the second set and 30 for the 3rd set.
For push-ups you should just do three sets until you can’t do anymore and repeat the same with sit-ups. A lot of times with exercises like that if you set a number and you don’t reach it you feel like you failed and that’s why I suggest just doing as many as you can until you can’t do anymore.”

Nice to know. I don’t drink water at all. I’ve tried and just don’t like it. Even the flavor water isn’t good to me.

I feel the same way about water unless it really cold. That’s the only ways I drink water. Have you tried that?

DRINK YOUR WATER! Years ago I was a junk food eating non-water drinking person. I cut that stuff out and my taste buds have adapted. I can no longer drink the sugery stuff. They say it takes 3 weeks for something to become habit. Try the water for 3 weeks. Your body will thank you!

i know exactly what you mean!! i was the same way but i am much better now. i drink more water but ONLY if i add one of those 0 calorie juice packets to it. i can not tolerate it straight unless it is dasani water – that i LOVE! and that is the only water i can drink straight from the bottle nothing added.

That is amazing how people dont like water. How in the hell can you not drink water? Earth was not made on kool aid and soda/pop. No wonder so many people are obese or unhealthy. Water is delicious…..maybe some of you need to stay in the desert for a night.

lol! i think it has a lot to do with what people grew up with. my momma did not play that. there was rarely any soda or otherwise in the house. so for us, it was a treat to get some soda or concentrated juice. to this day, i would prefer water over any other drink. not only because of the known health benefits, but it’s so much better for you. people done got spoiled and their taste palettes are used to something sugary and sweet. that’s why water is so unappealing to them.

your body is 80% water I suggest you start drinking it or you will have a whole host of problems including extremely bad breath, horrible skin and toxins all in your body.

If only it were that easy to stay fit and thin. Celebs kill me that mess.
Anyway I used to HATE water only because I wasn’t raised on it. My father was the one who bought drink and he hates water so all he’d buy was soda, kool aid and ice tea so that was what I was raised on. I had to force myself to drink water as I got older. I love it now. So refreshing, I still drink sugary drinks but not as often I drink mostly water.
