Ne-Yo and his pregnant best friend Monyetta Shaw were seen arriving at his hotel in New York City yesterday.
Ne-Yo recently cleared up rumors about his relationship with Monyetta by elaborating that he is not engaged to her, but he is expecting his first child with her.
“I have a friend. Not a girlfriend. She’s carrying my child but knows I can’t commit. She doesn’t mind other women,” says the singer.
Neyo and Monyetta are expecting their son or daughter in January of next year.

thats the girl who was in 2 of his videos.very pretty woman.i can not have a baby with a man im not commited to are married to. i can not do it.to each is on. its not my place to judge.i guess as long as he take care of the child and is in the child life, it does not matter as long as the parents get along and contain some kind of a friendship with each other for the child.

I was thinking the samething. If a person told me they couldn’t commit, we would definitely NOT have unprotected sex. Just because of MY own safety. We would date and do the things we wanted to do, but I would surely have to protect myself for the fear of contracting some diseases.

Honestly that’s what it is. A contracted surrogate. I have guy friend that I use to mess with and he asked me to be his “baby mama” because I had all the “qualities” that he wanted his son or daughter to inherit.
He didn’t want a commitment but he was ready to set up child support and college funds for the baby if I agreed. I said hell no only because I really liked him and I wouldn’t be able to stand looking at the child we would create, knowing it was a substitute for the real thing. *shrug* I guess its the “new” way of becoming a parent.
