JULEZ AND SOLANGE’S ISLAND GETAWAY
Daniel “Julez” Smith Jr. (born October 18th, 2004) shows us his purple tongue and matching shirt in one of several photographs shot by photographer Piera Gelardi. Julez and his mom, singer Solange Knowles, spent the recent holiday on what Solange calls “one of the most magical islands in all the world.”
“Julez & I have roamed the world for so long together. Europe, Asia, Australia, Mexico… The world has been our playground. We are blessed,” tweeted the singer turned DJ recently.

they have what appears to be a very beautiful mother son relationship and i love how she makes her pictures appear vintage and julez is so cute
i wonder what island they were at and yes they are truly blessed to be able to travel the world like that.

It is so great to be able to travel. I love traveling it expands your mind and open your mind to different things. He is blessed because so many kids and ppl don’t get to travel.

Man, Julez has been to places myself and most adults can only wish to go. Boy is he lucky.And I thought he was starting to look like Solo, but no. He still looks like granny, Lol. Mainly in the pic with the blue shirt & white shorts. I love the vintage look of the pics also.

Nice pictures of Solange and Daniel. Just watched “Bring it On” last night…Lol I loved her in that movie. I like her better then Bey she seems more down to earth. I hate when people compare the two… they appear to be totally different individuals.

I love these photos. Juelz looks so much like his grandmother and aunt that it’s ridiculous. LOL Man Solange must’ve HATED her mom. Glad he gets to travel, learn, and experience different countries and cultures. Such a cute boy.

Juelz just started school. Solange has been tweeting about it all week. And just a question, why are people so confused by why she hasn’t gone to the “mother Land”? Do we not understand how big the world is? I don’t remember her saying that she’s done all the traveling she will ever do. She might get to the “mother Land”, but here’s a thought…..she might not want to. I have a list of places I have been and still want to experience and *gasp* Africa is not at the top of the list. Open your minds, there is a great big world out there and good for Solange for exposing her son to it.

Also, she might just want to take him there when she probably thinks he’s able to fully appreciate being there.
But, she might not even know where her ancestors in Africa came from, so it might not be all that important to begin with.

Beyonce has been to Africa more than once, so it’s quite possible that Solange has accompanied her on a trip. maybe, maybe not. even if she doesn’t know her African ancestry, i still think it would be a great place for her to take her son. i realize not everyone desires to go, but it is definitely an experience unlike any other.
