NBA player Paul Pierce poses with his daughter Prianna,2, at the retirement ceremony for his Inglewood High jersey.

“This is more than a jersey retirement,” Pierce said on Tuesday morning. “It’s about hopes and dreams. I grew up on these same streets. I played basketball on the same courts. I hope I can be an inspiration.”

Pierce’s wife, Julie Landrum and his mother were also present. Julie and Paul married this past summer in a private wedding(Check out the details). Prianna was the flower girl, of course!

love’s her outfit and so what if she has perm or press i hate when people speak on things that aint got nothing to do with them would i ever perm my childs hair no but some heads need a lil more attention than others and another thing SHE AINT YO CHILD what hair got to do with it anywoooo SHE’S JUST AS BEAUTIFUL AS SHE WANNA BE:)

  • theyknow September 23, 2010 at 12:40 pm

Am I lost?? Or did it say somewhere in the message that her hair was permed or pressed?? Why does it even matter? People should really stop assuming casue you know what they say about assuming. I like her name b/c its different just like my name. Cute little girl. Negative people get on my last nerves….UGH!!!

I have a little boy so I don’t have to worry about it so much… My son doesn’t keep still AT ALL when brushing his hair. How in the world could you keep a two year old still with a hot comb????? If I had a little girl the only thing I would need to comb through her hair is water and a lot of conditioner that you can leave in.

Nice picture of Paula and his daughter. I got a chance to get a good look at the tall guy when I dropped my son off to school. Even though with the crazy traffic and media it was pandemonium. Inglewood Sentinels!!!!!!!!!

She’s adorable, She looks like her daddy.

Hair, Hair, Hair, Hair. I swear BCK should change the site to Blackcelebkidshair (BCKH) b/c thats all commenters seem to care about. A child could be cute as a button but the 1st thing people wanna complain about is hair -___- the baby’s hair does not look relaxed.

You took the words right out of my mouth!

  • h-town boss September 23, 2010 at 8:14 am

She’s one of the cutest little girls I’ve ever seen on BCK! Just beautiful!

  • mel September 23, 2010 at 8:06 am

Her hair is not pressed or permed. Her mother if you ever seen a picture of her is of mixed race. (I hate using that word). BCK has posted pictures of her in the past.

    • Teri September 23, 2010 at 1:32 pm

@Mel, in this day and age, it’s almost impossible to tell what people’s racial make up is. She looks like a black woman to me – not that it matters. I’m just saying.

Anyway, Prianna is a gorgeous little girl and TALL.

  • EVELINA RAE September 23, 2010 at 7:55 am

Prianna has gotten so big since i last seen her photo on here. I like her skirt, it’s cute.

  • MeMe September 22, 2010 at 10:45 pm

Precious… But ummm… yall sometimes you have to press little black girls’ hair to make it manageable… I had to press my daughters’ hair at the age of 3 b/c it gets tangled and hurts when combed.. So don’t judge her mother, her baby girl is gorgeous.. She’s a big 2 year old. She gets it from her Daddy!

  • Jessica September 22, 2010 at 8:40 pm

    Prianna?? That’s an interesting name

Is her hair relaxed? At two!?

    Cute outfit though.

  • Me 2 September 22, 2010 at 8:23 pm

  • Tiffany September 22, 2010 at 8:00 pm

There is two this wrong with whole shindig. What kind of name is Prianna? And why does a two year old have a PERM??? SMH… to each there own

    • jay September 23, 2010 at 8:57 am

y does he hair have to be relaxed…there is a such thing as a pressing comb!!!

      • Tiffany September 23, 2010 at 4:54 pm

I feel sorry for kid then cause I don’t know which two year old asks for a damn hot comb or straightening iron in their hair??? She doesn’t need it and its not necessary….

        • No Ma'am September 24, 2010 at 11:23 am

This is a straightening comb (as my granny say), no a relaxer people.

          • bebe* October 6, 2010 at 5:34 pm

OK people like stop talkin about he hair damm her mother is not full black & like if her mother hot combed it oh well her child & his not yours if she get hurt in anyway from it there fault not yours so STOP i think it natural because you dont really see her hair clearly so yah well never really know intil you see it PERSONALLY & love them name SHE IS A CUTIE

  • Ms. J September 22, 2010 at 7:00 pm

She has gotten big since her last pic. Pretty girl. It’s cute that she’s named after her dad.

  • Georgia September 22, 2010 at 6:58 pm

    She is a cutie.

  • Tiana September 22, 2010 at 6:38 pm

“Prianna”? That’s a new one. I’ve heard Briana, Tiana (Duh, Lol), and Kiana but never Prianna. Lol, I take it they were trying to match her dad with the ‘P’. She’s a cutie though.
