Just getting soo big and beautiful!

  • MixtryMama October 1, 2010 at 11:27 pm

Anyone know who makes Halle’s outfit? I LOVE it!!

  • Julie September 29, 2010 at 11:44 am

How is it wrong? Her child wouldn’t be as beautiful as Nahla if she would have had them with the other guys. I don’t need mental help because I’m happy for her carrying Gabriels baby to full term.
Gabriels features play a huge role in the Child and I think that him and Halle together make a great combo, genetically of course.
Your right i’m not perfect and neither is anyone else in the world. I just happen to be a girl who knows what’s she wants in a guy and her future kids. I happen to think that Nahla is one of the few beautiful babies on here.

Do I need attention? No, I simply give my opinion. People choose to respond to it while other ignore it. It doesn’t to me.
Write this stuff down prior? No, It’s how I feel and I’m tying off the top of my head when I reply. Believe it or not, that’s how I feel.

    • Pisces September 29, 2010 at 6:02 pm

Julie, you are not a “girl”. As far as Nahla’s looks, all baby Pandas are cute when they are babies. I wish her and her mother the continued best in life and all of God’s blessings.

However, it is not lost on me that if we weren’t discussing Oscar award winning actress Halle Berry, and she were just another Black or biracial female on the street, we would be criticizing her for all of the serial relationships she’s had which have been documented over the years she’s been in the public eye.

We’d also see her more as a promiscuous “cougar” on a never ending search for fresh meat(between her legs), and being the 40 something year old mother of a two year old is not slowing her down. Sorry to burst your bubble, but it looks as though Mr. Gabriel was no exception the way she tossed him. Even in spite of him siring her precious baby.

Like another one of her fine ex-boyfriends, Christopher Williams, the gorgeous singer, said of Halle, “I’m glad she finally has the baby she always wanted.” Christopher Williams also denied ever busting up side her head and said the reason why their relationship failed is simple…”She’s just another woman.”

        BOO-Yaaaaaaaa!

        • Pisces September 30, 2010 at 9:08 pm

LOL, h-town boss! And you know this!

  • EVELINA RAE September 29, 2010 at 10:24 am

“…If she did miscarry, good for her. I’m glad her baby with Gabriel went to full term.”

WOW, THIS IS WRONG ON SO MANY LEVELS. SEEK MENTAL HELP, ASAP.

“Nahla is perfect to me. I think she’s a beautiful little girl. Her skin tone is a tan but not pale (which is not good because pale can be ….yeah) and her eyes are a killer and her hair is a blondish brown. Sounds pretty damn perfect to me. She actually reminds me of myself.”

YOU SURE AS HELL AINT PERFECT LMAO

YOU’RE ENTERTAINING AND DEVILISH(BASED ON ALL YOUR COMMENTS). I’M ALWAYS IN SOCK AND LAUGHING WHEN I READ YOUR [bull]. I SAID THIS TO YOU A WHILE AGO, BUT I THINK IT’S ATTENTION YOU SEEK, SO I’LL GIVE THE DOG A BONE, SO TO SPEAK. IT WOULD SEEM YOU LIKE THE REPLIES PEOPLE GIVE YOU, SO YOU CONTINUTE TO “SPEAK OUT” ON YOUR BELIEFS AND MAKE EACH NEW COMMENT WORST THAN THE PREVIOUS ONE. I BET YOU WRITE THIS [stuff] DOWN BEFORE YOU SUBMIT IT JUST TO MAKE SURE IT’S FULL OF THE MOST OFFENSIVE AND RIDICULOUS “MESSAGES” YOU CAN FIT IN. LOL

    HAPPY TYPING :)

“…If she did miscarry, good for her. I’m glad her baby with Gabriel went to full term.”

Yes, that was particularly foul. How something like that is said even in jest is….??

    • Pisces September 29, 2010 at 5:41 pm

LOL. Agree Evalina Rae. It’s kind of fun to talk to Julie/Julian because he/she is clearly marching to a different drum beat.

  • Sologe September 29, 2010 at 9:43 am

This is all crazy. Does it really matter if God is white or black. Color is not going to get you to heaven but believing in the mightly name of Jesus will. All this nonsence is just plain stupid. I cannot believe that adults are posting such rubbish. I come to blackcelebkids to view the oh so many beautiful babies that God has created being full black or biracial and i adore all of them. I cannot stand haters who always put down white mother for not keeping up with thier kids hair or black mothers who choose to be with white men for whatever reason. The great thing about life is that we all have choices which makes each of us unique and special before God. So before you go bashing someone else look at your own life and find something to bash because trust me you will find something.

  • Leighla September 29, 2010 at 9:06 am

Nicole, historians of religion say that the first Jews had various ethnicities. Like I said before, being Jewish is simply a religion, not an ethnicity and certainly not a ‘race.’ A better way for me to rephrase my earlier statement is to say that it has never been accurate to describe Jews as an ethnicity or a ‘race.’

  • Shazara September 29, 2010 at 1:03 am

Lol. Jesus never existed, grow up and leave your imaginary friends behind, people! He was a mythical figure just like Zeus or Aphrodite or Krishna or any other mythical Gods. There’s no proof of God, and its foolish to believe in something you have no proof of. If we believe in god, we may as well believe in Santa Claus and the tooth fairy as well, its just as ridiculous. There’s also no proof of Jesus ever existing, he is only a FICTIONAL character in a FICTIONAL book like Harry Potter.

I suggest some of you go back to history 101 and study ancient civilizations and learn about how religions were formed and how they changed over time. I also suggest you take a few basic science classes too that will open your minds to reality. Everything should go by the scientific method: Observation > Hypothesis > Theory > Law. Are God and Jesus observations? NO. Are they hypothesises? NO. Are they Theories? NO. Are they scientific laws? NO, Therefore they don’t exist!

I can’t believe people still give in to these myths and fairytales in year 2010!

    • nk September 29, 2010 at 1:48 am

You have not proven to me, in any shape or form, that Jesus never existed or that God doesn’t exist. If you believe I am in La La Land for believing in God then prove it. Prove that God does not exist.

    • Mercedes September 29, 2010 at 8:40 am

If you can’t prove that God and Jesus don’t exist, then how can you laugh at people who say they do exist Shazara?

    • gtsa September 29, 2010 at 10:47 am

Shazara, it is ok that you are apparently atheist, but it is also ok for those who believe, to believe. I am generally against, “my way or the highway thinking” no matter how I may at times beat my chest with my own views, ha ha ha. But here is some food for thought. According to historians, Jesus Christ did exist. Check it out, do some more research. Whether he is God or the son of God has been the question. Not up for religious debate, just thought I’d inject the science or hardfacts you so admire into it.

  • Mercedes September 28, 2010 at 7:15 pm

Little Nahla looks sooooooo gorgeous. I love her sandy blonde hair color and her little dress is too cute on her.
I love Halle’s outfit too. I love the adding of the necklace to her outfit. She’s beautiful herself, but something is very funny.
If you look at the last photo of Halle with Nahla, you can notice under Halle’s shades her eye expression is of frustration. She HATES the paps! She didn’t notice them at first.
I would more than likely be the same though, if I had a small child with me and was constantly being followed too.

  • Whateva September 28, 2010 at 3:34 pm

Im surprised that Halle’s not snarling at the paps.

  • anonymous September 28, 2010 at 2:16 pm

@Julie- Gabriel’s “God like” look? PLEASE tell me you are not black. For any black person to liken a white person’s looks to God is both sickening and pure self-hating. The fact that you defend the comment is even worse.

    • Julie September 28, 2010 at 3:37 pm

The pictures/features of Jesus Christ isn’t too far away from Gabriel. I wasn’t saying he is a god but he has almost perfect features for his face. You would he was heaven sent!

As for race/ethnicity. It doesn’t and shouldn’t matter.

You can guess what you want, I know what I am and everyone in my life knows what I am. You guys are Anonymous who can’t respect other peoples opinion because it doesn’t mirror yours.

I can defend it all I want. Gabriel is absolutely gorgeous. I don’t think there is any man who is and can be as attractive as he is. Of course Paul Walker is tied with him. He has Blue Eyes by the way!

      • Pisces September 28, 2010 at 4:18 pm

Halle dated BLUE EYED Michael Ealy, who’s Black, before she got with Gabriel. She probably didn’t have to copulate just with someone who looks like Gabriel to produce offspring with light eyes.

She has been with dudes with blue eyes and dudes such as Eddie Murphy and Wesley Snipes. These are facts.

        • Pisces September 28, 2010 at 4:42 pm

Just wanted to add…Michael Ealy is a sexy, yummy looking man, in my opinion.

        • Julie September 28, 2010 at 6:35 pm

Michael Ely is awkward looking. His eyes doesn’t match his hair color or complexion. I don’t find Blue Eyes to be appropriate on his racial type.

Jesus is white to me as I’m sure he is to millions of people in America and around the world. I picture Jesus as whoever I want him to be and in my heart he looks like that.
I don’t care what anyone says.

Halle was with those guys but she wouldn’t dare reproduce with them.
They couldn’t give her a perfect and beautiful baby like Nahla. Halle came to her senses when she was ready to have kids. She wasn’t looking for any of those guys, she was looking for GABRIEL!!

          • Pisces September 28, 2010 at 8:13 pm

Julie, you are crazy! Whether his eyes look “appropriate” to you or not, Michael Ealy’s eyes are SKY BLUE in color and this lady (Halle) was with him in 2005-2006. And… she was 7 years older than him just as she’s older than Gabriel.

Maybe Halle just didn’t carry babies to full term or miscarried with some of the many men she’s been with over the years…including 2 African American husbands. She could have had beautiful babies with either of her BLACK HUSBANDS… David Justice and Eric Benet, AND they would have been born in wedlock, something you so-called Christians value highly.

There’s nothing so great about Ms. Berry’s choice in Gabriel or the many, many others she’s been with…when she was a struggling actress she’d entertain em’ all as long as they could be used as a stepping stone to where she wanted to go.

Oh, FYI, I don’t envision Jesus as White, and I have a crucifix on my wall with Jesus depicted as BLACK. That’s my God and we are all saved by what we believe in.

May God have mercy on your soul, you so called “Christian”.

          • Pisces September 28, 2010 at 8:28 pm

You don’t really think that Nahla looks perfect. Following your warped viewpoint, Nahla’s skin tone is too brown for you. Anyway, what’s perfect? Certainly not having white skin and blue eyes.

Many Americans consider Nahla’s Mommy to be perfect, and Halle clearly looks African American. Every bit as much as I’m sure Halle’s deceased father was and looked African American.

Surely, Nahla has some little full blooded Black cousins running around in Cleveland, Ohio, Halle’s birthplace.

          • nk September 29, 2010 at 12:43 am

            @Julie:
You’re not serious, are you? If you are then this site is not for you. Perhaps you may want to visit those sites that are more in line with or support your type of thinking?

            @Everyone Else:
Don’t try to reason with her; you’re wasting your time.

          • Julie September 29, 2010 at 9:06 am

Her babies wouldn’t have been “pretty” with those two black husbands. They would have been average. One of them has an awkward looking daughter.

I highly doubt Halle wanted to have babies with those two. If she did miscarry, good for her. I’m glad her baby with Gabriel went to full term.

Nahla is perfect to me. I think she’s a beautiful little girl. Her skin tone is a tan but not pale (which is not good because pale can be ….yeah) and her eyes are a killer and her hair is a blondish brown. Sounds pretty damn perfect to me. She actually reminds me of myself.

You can see Jesus as Black all you want. I picture Jesus as a white male. So was Mosses by the way since he was in an interracial relationship with a black woman.

I don’t care if Nahla is out of wedlock. I would have a baby with Gabriel out of wedlock. There are a few white guys who’s baby I wouldn’t mind having. They don’t have to pay attention to my kid, just lend me their genes to create my baby!

Halle has a nice shape but Nahla is prettier than Halle. She also doesn’t need a nose job unlike Halle who had one.

No she doesn’t since her cousins would be Halles sister and we don’t know if she is with a black male.

Also Halles dad was a dead beat. Not that it’s surprising.

          • Minister Zel October 20, 2010 at 6:35 pm

Surely you are joking. First of all Jesus was Hebrew…which is not “white.” Do you really not know that? If you are serious, you should read more.

Halle and her daughter are beautiful…but their beauty is not defined by their color. It’s sad if you don’t know this, also. Color…hair texture…ethnicity…does not define them, nor anyone else.

      • E September 28, 2010 at 4:42 pm

Ummm…contrary to how Jesus is typically depicted he was Jewish/Middle Eastern and probably didn’t have light skin, blue eyes, and blond hair. So I really don’t know how the comparison to Gabriel comes in.
        o_0

        • Leighla September 28, 2010 at 7:14 pm

Being Jewish is simply a religion. It has never been a term to describe a ‘race’ or even an ethnic group.

          • Nicole September 29, 2010 at 8:15 am

You can’t say “never” because that simply isn’t true. Whether it is accurate or not, MANY people describe “Jewish” as both a religion and an ethnic group. I was shocked the first time I heard it, but now it seems to be normal.

          • Julie September 29, 2010 at 9:42 am

Judism is the religion and Jewish is the ethnicity.

Also the idea of Jews not having blue eyes and blond hair is crazy.

King David of Israel had Red Hair.

I’ve seen many people who were Jews with Blue eyes and blond hair.

Scarlett Johanson is a Jew and she has both of those features.

        • nk September 29, 2010 at 1:34 am

You’re right. Isn’t he described, in the Bible, as having hair like lamb’s wool and feet like bronze burned in an oven?

          Food for thought:
          [site removed]

Note: Judaism is a religion and Middle East is a geographic region. Anyone can be Jewish or Middle Eastern just like anyone can be Christian or North American.

  • Toya September 28, 2010 at 2:00 pm

Damn, some of you make it sound like Halle just wakes up, takes care of her hair and and dont even touch Nahla’s… OMG And why, why, why do folks keep comparing this baby to Kimora’s kids? I mean I could be mistaken, but doesn’t Nahla have a completely different texture then Kimora’s kids?? Not taking away from theirs, I’m just saying….Geeeeeeeez

  • Millie September 28, 2010 at 12:27 pm

Halle, get back together with Gabriel and have more babies pronto! Ok, if you two are really done, the least you could do is give me his number :)

  • Luvbug September 28, 2010 at 12:13 pm

SOME OF U R REALLY SICKENING. GABRIEL A GOD, PLZZZZZZZZZ, I ONLY KNOW ONE GOD AND GABRIEL ISN’T IT. YES HE IS HANDSOME, ERIC BENET LOOKS WAY BETTER. I DON’T CARE HOW SOFT NAHLA’S HAIR IS, IT CAN BE DONE. KIMORA HAVE NO PROBLEM HAVING HER GIRLS HAIR LOOKING GOOD AT ALL TIMES. I DON’T SEE WHAT IS THE BIG DEAL ABOUT THIS CHILD. SHE IS CUTE AND THAT IS ABOUT IT. THE OLDER SHE GETS, THE MORE HER LOOKS R STARTING TO CHANGE. AT LEAST HER HAIR IS GROWING. STILL TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHY A CHILD THAT IS 75% WHITE LOOKS SO DARK. IF SOME OF U DON’T LIKE MY STATEMENT U KNOW WHAT YA CAN DO.

    • Vicky September 28, 2010 at 7:14 pm

Nahla is very pretty, but i might receive some flack for this, but i don’t understand why some people always refer to Nahla as having her dad’s skintone?am i the only one who doesn’t see it?What is wrong with admitting that Nahla looks like her dad with her mother’s coloring?being light brown is beautiful,i don’t understand why people always refer to her as having a tan?i’ve never seen her look lighter than this…again she is a beautiful girl, but and yes,she might be 75% white, but with her mother skintone,or maybe there’s something that i’m missing,if that’s the case let me know so that i might see it too.I’m not hating i’m just wondering about it…

      • Nicole September 29, 2010 at 8:13 am

I agree. Nahla does NOT have her father’s skin tone…maybe he’d get hers though if he got a tan lol.

        • EVELINA RAE September 29, 2010 at 9:23 am

lmao CORRECT! If he chills out in Florida for a couple days he’ll look like Nahla.

      • gtsa September 29, 2010 at 10:26 am

Nahla is a couple of shades lighter than Halle, not by much, BUT she is also not her mom’s complexion. More btwn her mom and dad. Genes express themselves how they wish, lol. I am not mixed, but lighter than Nahla by a shade or so. She is still pretty light and looks more white to me…her hair, overall coloring and features. Have no idea how she or her parents plan to i’d her, particularly given Halle’s biracial background, not that it matters.

        • Vicky September 29, 2010 at 10:58 am

she might not be as dark as Halle, but she’s close to it,and it’s ok…the fact is if we didn’t know who her parents were, nobody would have called her ‘white’,if a black woman walks around with a daughter looking like Nahla,no one would ask her if she’s the nanny or wonder about her daughter racial background.Nahla is a beautiful girl, but saying that she has a tan is crazy,if that was the case, during the winter season she would have look very pale….facially she is her dad’s clone but skintone wise,i think she leans more toward Halle IMO

          • gtsa September 29, 2010 at 11:24 am

Hi Vicky. Depends. Even though Halle is light brown, I would still assume the dad might be white if I didn’t have any backstory because of Nahla’s hair, eyes, features and maybe complexion.

Nahla is not the average looking black kid. Even a few biracial kids lean more towards Halle and President Obama in the looks dept. than Nahla. I guess again it is because her mom is biracial and dad white people are expecting even lighter, but again genes go willy nilly and do as they please. I personally love the randomness as long its not about randomly inheriting a disease, defect or disposition to one.

          • Vicky September 29, 2010 at 11:46 am

Hi,gtsa, yes, thanks for responding, yes, looking at Nahla, one will know that she has a white parent thanks to her eyes and hair textures,…and yes,i think that because of the fact that her mom is biracial and dad is white, there are still some people who are shock over the fact that she’s not a fair/blonde hair/blue eyed kid which is ridiculous because it doesn’t minimize her beauty one bit,it actually makes her stand out.

  • Julie September 28, 2010 at 8:53 am

First off, His eye color is green.

Second, I can’t deny his god like look.

And third, Yes, those kind of features do it for me.

    As for being racist….whatever.

Do you even know the definition of racist?

If you did, I wouldn’t be it.

    • EVELINA RAE September 29, 2010 at 9:20 am

Racist… not you? Oh dear…ok so maybe Prejudice is a better fit? You got issues that’s for damn sure. Happy typing :)

  • wanda September 27, 2010 at 8:33 pm

She has grown up so fast I can’t believe it. She is going to be taller than Halle by the time she is eight years old.

  • EVELINA RAE September 27, 2010 at 4:55 pm

That’s because she’s racist and only likes the white parents on here and the kids that look white or have white in them…yes i said again, Julie. Gabriel isn’t even Greek to, perhaps, say he’s a “greek god” as some put it, geez the man’s Canadian. Happy typing :)

    • Zee September 28, 2010 at 9:19 am

@ Evelina Rae, I agree w/ you tenfold!
Don’t know if you remember the person who used to post under the name “Notbuyingit” a few years ago, but I’d bet money that “Julie” is him/her/it! Same thinly veiled racist hate-speech, same anti-black/brown, pro-white messages…

If this is indeed that same mean-spirited bck poster from a few years ago, I wonder why it chooses to come to a site for black celeb babies instead of going to a white celeb site where they all look like “God”?

      • h-town boss September 29, 2010 at 10:18 am

I thought it was just me! That julie thing has to be the same blogger. The simularities are actually scarey!

        • gtsa September 29, 2010 at 11:17 am

Now how did you guys come to that conclusion, lol. Don’t get accused of “stalking” as I was by some hypocrite here because I happened to recognize a certain pattern in another poster’s comments.

Anyhow, the truth is, beyond the fact that people change up names like a 1 year old diapers up in here people DO take on tones and a certain identity to the way they write and respond after a while regardless of the mostly anon platform here.

I have no idea who this Julie is, she is comical in a “I am laughing at you, not with you kind of way”. I don’t take her seriously, she is getting a kick apparently out of getting a rise out of a few. Silly girl, guy? Kinda odd postings, but they are apparently doing something for her/him/it???

        • Zee September 29, 2010 at 6:25 pm

          @ h-town boss,

Girl yes, I noticed this and initially thought it was coincidental…
but there are waaaay too many similarities. I guess we’ve both had the displeasure of seeing so many of this thing’s rants, we can identify it as the same sick individual.

        • Zee September 29, 2010 at 6:42 pm

          @gtsa,

Exactly! This “thing/he-she-it” we’re referring to obviously gets some type of sick kick out of posting hateful statements..I usually bypass it’s statements..but I was baited by it a few times when it was (presumably) posting under that other name.

In the future,we really should collectively ignore this “thing”, then maybe it’ll slink into the shadows to get the medical help it needs…

  • Kelli September 27, 2010 at 4:53 pm

    Boy she’s a beauty!!!

  • onum2 September 27, 2010 at 3:42 pm

she’s ok….. I dont see why she gets all the hype but the fact that she is halle’s kid(a women that made her own way in hollywood) but ok…

  • honeychild September 27, 2010 at 3:17 pm

What happened to the baby?! A little lady has taken her place.
    What a doll.

  • Della September 27, 2010 at 2:45 pm

Thick, wavy hair always slips out of elastic my nieces hair is the same way so their mother holds it back off their faces with clip-on barretts. She is getting so tall and slim.

    • h-town boss September 29, 2010 at 10:39 am

Nahla’s hair is not thick. She has a fine grade of hair. Also, it’s not really wavy either. I think her hair looks fine the way Halle has it. IMO if she were to put lotions/grease in Nahla’s hair it would weigh it down & make it look thinner & shorter. This way adds volume & length.

  • M$. J@zZy B@by! September 27, 2010 at 2:11 pm

She is really pretty. You can tell how shes gonna look when she gets older, paparazzi gonna b all over her, i wonder what she’ll be doing in the future since it seems that all the celebrity’s kids are in the magazines or in the entertainment business more themselves now. But on another note i dont too much care to comment on the child’s hair cuz at the end of the day thats halle’s child not mine and her hair doesnt look as bad as everyone makes it out to look, even tho halle could change it up sometimes, let it all down with a clip in the front or something……

  • JAI September 27, 2010 at 12:49 pm

Suri Cruz as officially stepped aside. Nahla is HERE!

    • lisa September 27, 2010 at 6:56 pm

Now that kid needs a brush! LOL!

    • Anne September 29, 2010 at 9:30 am

Funny but something about Nahla reminds me of Suri Cruise

      • gtsa September 29, 2010 at 10:14 am

Anne, we are >>>here<<<. Thought I was the only one that saw that and its more than a little, IMO.

I still don’t think the beauty of her mom is evident in her yet as adorable as she is. I think more cute anyway than beauty when I see babies, the beauty tag is for older kids. It’ll be interesting to see what she will blossom into.

  • Joyce Black September 27, 2010 at 12:48 pm

She is simply gorgeous. She and Zahara are my favorites .

  • keverno September 27, 2010 at 12:46 pm

Wow…. Nahlah is defiantly a carbon copy of Gabriel, just simply Beautiful!!!!! I don’t see any of Halle features nowhere in this child. Its amazing how strong Gabriel’s genetic genes are.

    • EVELINA RAE September 27, 2010 at 1:32 pm

She definitely is, but i see a little, a very little, Halle in her, especially in the photo where she’s looking at the camera, in my opinion.

    • S. September 27, 2010 at 4:14 pm

That’s funny because I think she looks exactly like Halle only with her father’s (skin, eyes, and hair) coloring

    • Nicky September 28, 2010 at 2:19 am

Greetings from Cape Town:-) I totally agree with you Keverno, I especially love her cleft chin, too adorbs.

  • Pisces September 27, 2010 at 12:40 pm

    Pretty.

  • senna September 27, 2010 at 12:20 pm

    cuteness

  • Anna September 27, 2010 at 12:00 pm

Aww Look at the little Nahla!!! She is growing so so fast! And she is getting even more beautiful with every day!!! I love to see her!! She is my favourite BlackCelebrityKid (And the little Violet Nash!) :D But Nahla is a real cutiepie!!!

  • NickInATL September 27, 2010 at 11:57 am

OMG! That baby is getting more beautiful the older she gets!!

    • gtsa September 27, 2010 at 2:41 pm

I think she will continue to blossom into quite the beauty. Time will tell. She is pretty cute already.

  • Toya September 27, 2010 at 11:52 am

This mommy/daughter is just too fabulous!!

I do have one question. In all post, some folks feel there is a problem with Nahla’s hair. Exactly what kind of style could these folks be looking for? Somebody please help me out here… The baby is 2 for the love of GOD!! And as we all can see, her texture may not keep in any style unless Halle LOADS it up with some sort of product. Product could be light (kiddie friendly) but product none the less. Is it really necessary for all hairs to be stiff?? OK.. maybe some folks are looking for the 100 barrette look. I’ve seen Nahla in various styles on these postings and her her always seems to just go curly…

    • PlainMean September 27, 2010 at 12:09 pm

Yeah, I have a bi-racial niece with the same hair texture. It falls out of a style very easily because of how fine it is and how active they are around that age. She looks fine. You know some black females can be hair obsessed.

      • EVELINA RAE September 27, 2010 at 1:28 pm

Two of my little cousins’ hair texture are the same way. The hair slips right out of a pony-tail within minutes and it looks “undone” or “unkept”, as people wanna call it, but that’s the texture and it just doesn’t agree with hair accessories. It’s better left out, in my opinion, ’cause it will be out eventually. Don’t even try to braid it…this would be a BIG waste of time as braids don’t stay in past the hour. People, if this isn’t your hair texture or if you don’t know someone, personally, with this hair texture STOP COMMENTING ON NAHLA’S HAIR “NOT BEING DONE” ‘CAUSE YOU OBVIOUSLY DON’T UNDERSTAND.

    • nk September 28, 2010 at 2:06 am

The comments about the little g’s hair are silly, IMO. Her hair looks fine. She has loose curls; I like the way her hair looks…NATURAL. How should Halle style her baby’s hair? A bunch of tight braids with barrettes or ties on each end? A bunch of mini-ponytails, each sporting its own hair tie color? Pulled tightly back, within an inch of its life, with a thick layer of pomade to ensure no fly-aways? Seriously, folks, natural is best!

  • PlainMean September 27, 2010 at 11:23 am

Wish I was Halle’s shopping sidekick! With her buying of course! Nahla’s growing so fast.

  • swazibabe September 27, 2010 at 11:16 am

They are both very beautiful. I wish i had Halle’s body. :)

  • seankordw September 27, 2010 at 11:05 am

Too cute!!! Nothing like an easy breezy day out shopping with mom while sipping on a sippy cup.

  • milli September 27, 2010 at 11:05 am

She’s adorable and growing up fast!

  • Trina September 27, 2010 at 10:42 am

Nahla is getting so big, but more importantly, love Halle’s dress. Any idea where it’s from, cost?

  • LisaLisa September 27, 2010 at 10:13 am

Love the sponge bob band-aid on her foot! Why is this baby’s hair never done?

    • Jessica September 27, 2010 at 11:58 am

Your joking right? Please tell me your joking?

Nahla has very loose curly and wavy hair and it’s in a ponytail. She does not need to have it braided up, beaded up, or pulled all the way back like a cadillac.

      • Cori September 27, 2010 at 12:45 pm

Also it could very well be that since Halle’s hair and life is easy going, get up and go she treats her daughter’s hair the same way. I always felt that way myself, it always look wild and messy. No one said use some grease, just brush it from time to time. Nahla’s hair can still be loose with cute curls and no one said that you have to be hair obsessed either. Yes she is a kid. My mom is portuguese and my father is black. Yes my hair was and is fine but my mom brushed my hair. It could all very well be that Halle just doesn’t feel like doing it, plain and simple. ;-)

      • BrwnSantiLove September 27, 2010 at 2:03 pm

Exactly! Smh…really? not done? In many of the pictures I’ve seen of these two on this site, Nahla has had something in her hair. When you have loser hair, it tends to fall out of its confines easily especially if you’re a child.

      • Lexus September 29, 2010 at 3:16 am

Um , she is too cute. and halle looks great.
but I AGREE with the hair. My Daughters are BIRACIAL (father is white) and my 6 yr old actually has very loose and curly hair and I can do so muh to her hair without it looking a hot mess. Its called a BRUSH and HAIR TIE, a little water , a bit of lotion or babyoil , or baby hair products keep it in place just fine. The excuses are lame , HALLE DO YOUR CHILDS HAIR.

        • Nicole September 29, 2010 at 8:11 am

Lexus I agree. My sister has similar hair to Nahla’s and the only time her hair looks like that is when nothing was added to it.

I will say though that sometimes kids hair gets messy (no matter what’s done to it) after school when they’ve been active.

    • tj September 28, 2010 at 1:43 am

I think her hair looks just fine. It’s not clumpy or knotted up. Looks like it’s been washed and comb and it’s pulled into a hair clip. Are you expected her to have plaits or cornrolls? She doesn’t have that kind of hair. She’s barely black at this point. Chances are when she grows up she won’t even ID as black. Get over the hair. Her hair looks no different other little white girls walking on the street.

  • Julie September 27, 2010 at 10:06 am

She is so cute! Of course her daddy is a GOD! Seriously, Halle was a fool to leave him. I would tie him to my bed post!

    • shesallthat September 27, 2010 at 11:09 am

      he is so seriously fine!!!

    • Julie September 28, 2010 at 8:55 am

His eye color is green smart one.

and Yes, Gabriel is a god! Seriously,Halle is one lucky lady.

  • Keke September 27, 2010 at 10:06 am

She has gotten so tall, they are both gorgeous

  • Keke September 27, 2010 at 10:06 am

She has gotten so tall… Gorgeous pair!

  • Tamika September 27, 2010 at 9:58 am

I love both Halle and Nahla’s dresses!
