  I think it’s because of the whole Gentle Giant thing. Like you’d think most big guys would be overpowering and mean but them turning out to be so sweet flips the stereotypical switch, and holding a baby something so small and innocent and being sweet to him or her takes it to the 100th power, makes your heart melt. At least that’s my take on it, lol.
