BEN HARPER AND FAMILY: BRUNCH AND ICE CREAM
Musician Ben Harper and actress Laura Dern took their kids Charles Joseph(black shirt), Harris(pink sweater), Ellery(black “Chocolate” shirt), 9, daughter Jaya(red), 5 1/2, out for brunch and dessert with some friends in Brentwood, Calif. on Sunday (November 14.)
Last month, Harper filed for divorce from Laura , citing irreconcilable differences. The former couple appear to have put their differences aside for the kids’ sake.
Charles and Harris are Ben’s kids from his previous marriage.

Jaya looks like Victoria Rowell’s daughter. The last time I saw a photo of Jaya she was in a stroller.

Didn’t Angelina cause her break-up with Billy Bob Thornton? I think I recall reading where she was engaged to him and learned through the media that he was engaged to Angelina?
Laura Dern also broke up the marriage between Ben and his first wife. Their son Ellery and Ben’s oldest daughter are like a year apart.
But no need to raise the dead all of those relationships are over and everyone has moved on.
I don’t know who he is..I never heard of him nor his music.
If I’m not mistaken the two oldest are just Ben’s from another relationship and the youngest 2 are Laura’s. The youngest little girl doesn’t look like she has a drop of Black in her and the youngest boy looks more mixed, he’s just really light. He reminds me of Mj’s oldest son Prince. All the kids are adorable. The oldest son is a real cutie, they’re going to be fighting the girls off him soon, if they’re not already.
The youngest two are Ben’s children as well. The mother just has stronger genes.

your exactly right, i was going to leave that comment. The kids from his 1st marriage look black and the kids with laura look completely white. the dad is 1/2 white 1/2 black. i think the children from his first marriage may have a black mother.
ben’s father was half black, half native american, his mother was jewish.
I thought the same thing as well,…that his younger son looks a lot like Prince Jackson!
