Nahla does not look white. She could pass for biracial(which she is), light complexion black or of latino descent. She does not look like Gabe and I am tired of people saying that. Put her and Gabe pic side by side and you have two different looks. Is it because she is light with hazel eyes and blonde curly hair? That could have been me when I was growing up minus hazel eyes and I am completely black. Mark my words, that girl belongs to Michael Ealy and it will come out. She is cute and that is about it.
Sorry but this is an African American issue. Every other race and culture are not bent over biracial kids but that group. Focus on your own kids and just leave black/white kids alone. Nahla is cute, period. Nothing else about her colour etc is necessary.

I think people rave about Nahla because people associate her with being a black kid that looks white. However, if she was a white kid, there would be no abundance of comments.
Mind you, I think Nahla is adorable. I’m just saying…

She is beautiful and adorable as everyone says and when I look at her, even if I didn’t know who her parents were, I see a mixed baby (in my opinon) and I think in the real world she will be considered black (not that it matters or changes anything but it seems to be a big issue to some people so I’m just sharing my opinion) I also think she would look even more adorable if they brushed her hair. I mean it doesn’t have to be pulled back tight or littered with bows or anything, just brushed so she doesn’t look so unkempt. She looks like a baby lion with all that hair around her head lol and it looks tangled…..once again just my opinion.
100% agree.why does halle act like she cant do this child hair,its not like she has free flowing type hair,pull it back or up Ms Berry.I could be wrong,but I get the impression she think she is white girl,and genetically she is more white,but her features are biracial/black.Just my 2cents.
Oh my goodness, why is it always a skin issue or eye color issue about this child? Nahla is who she is and whom she is gonna be. She is a cute little thang, growing up fast.

Nahla definitely will tower over Halle. If you double the height of a 2 year-old you can guesstimate (within 2 inches) of how tall they will be.

When she was arrested she gave her ethnicity at anglo not hispanic or afrAm.
Yeah, I always wondered why Nicole’s children are never on here. Same goes for Ellen Pompeo and Jessica Alba.
So what if her eyes are light. Is that supposed to be a rule for beauty? To me personally, the shape of the eye dictates the beauty of the eye. Lets hope that Halle is building her child’s self-esteem from the inside outward. The outside is only a shell. The heart is the prize. Yes she is a very beuatiful child, but think about how many women have been used a trophies because of their beauty. Lets hope the baby will grow up strong because of good rearing and not have to depend on looks.

And to think, just last week, someone commented here about being suprised that Nahla looks sooo black! Do you still think that way after seeing these photos? If you do, you need to have your eyes examined.
@ Kat. Have you ever seen a full-blooded black person? I’m sure you’d agree that Nahla looks nothing like a full-blooded black person….. like my self! She does NOT appear more black than white. She actually has more caucasion features than little Mason Kardashian. It is not possible for a person to have straight light brown hair, fair-skin in winter,and olive-skin in summer, light colored eyes,and anglo features and be considered predominatly black! You’re just playing into the hands of the racsist “One Drop Rule” way of thinking! Again, look at a beautiful full blooded black girl, then look again at beautiful Nahla.
As a white female, if I were to see Nahla without Halle, I would assume that she’s a white girl. Being 75% white, it makes perfect sense.

She is so pretty- the cutest girl ever. Wait till she grows up, she will be the envy of all girls- beautiful light eyes and light naturally wavy hair. She has great hair.
I love that Halle keeps Nahla’s hair natural. No need for harsh hairsyles on little girls. Nothing worse that pulling a gir’s hair too tight in ponytails and they start to get thinning hair or traction alopecia.
Hopefully Nahla will keep her nair natural when she grows older.She definitely doesn’t need a NASTY STINKY WEAVE

Personally I do think Nahla looks like an average child out there. If I saw her on the street, I would probably assume she was either hispanic (with a very high white mixture) or persian. If I saw her without Halle holding her hand, I would never ever in a million years think she had one iota of black in here, and if she did it was from generations before.
I think we need to examine how far we are going to reach with the whole “white”/”black” thing anyway. I think we are reaching with children that have one parent that is part black, especially when they will have no identity as a “black” person.
I do think Halle Berry is starting to use her daughter for photo opportunities to promote her own image and I am starting to get a tad bit suspicious of it. I know how PR reps are – I know a great deal about the industry, and Halle Berry needs to stop exposing her daughter to that much attention. It seems that ever since Nahla had a bad day with the Paps, I have seen them in a very photo op picture at the beach and then this. C’mon.
I thought Nahla was older than Jax and Jaid because she’s so tall like her dad. I was looking at pics of the twins and they are 3 and Nahla is 2 but she grew up so fast, so tall!

Oh My God they grow up so fast. My cousin is two and already talks smack to you. My cousin is still in diapers too so I think you have to wait until they are ready. I don’t think it’s a sign of a lazy parent but rather a child who isn’t quite ready.

Umm whoa angry much. Most 2 year-olds are still in diapers or pull-ups at least so they won’t have any accidents. Maybe when she’s turns 3 she can start transitioning to big girl underwear.
i agree with what you said but i aslo think that most toddlers do not need any pull ups. its usually the parents who worry plus i think in order for a child to lear they must have accidents sometimes so i dont think thats an excuse but then again everyone has their own opinions…..
