Alicia Keys has debuted a new song in honor of her two-month-old son Egypt Daoud Dean. The song entitled Speechless is “a little freestyle treat for the holidays. It’s not a new album, not a single. Its something special for [fans]. ….A little song about my lil guy,” the singer wrote via her Twitter Page.
Right before verse one of the song starts, the singer says, “I’m at a brand-new time in my life and a brand new feeling, and it’s like this little guy, man, he takes my breath away.”

I like the song and I am happy for her and Swizz. Children are a blessing no matter how they entered in this world. All these comments about how Alicia Keys is a homewrecker and Mashonda is the innocent blah blah blah. I cant really comment and Im going to refrain from it because I dont know either party nor am I getting paid to comment on that. (I thought this was about celebrity kids not celebrity drama) I will say this though…Things happen in life that sucks and all you can do is pray and move on! Things happen for a reason

Alicia and Mashonda was never friends!!!!! They were introduced to each other through Swizz a few years back.

ok so the song starts off w/ alicia singing about baby egypt, if this song is about baby egypt the y is eve rapping on the song? if u listen to eve’s rap she is clearly rapping about a man so how does that pertain to baby egypt? and everyone keeps saying y is mashonda’s name being mentioned on a post isn’t about her.. well y was alicia being mentioned on the post about kasseem jr’s bday party? no matter what people will associated them both when it doesn’t matter. and it’s ironic that alicia releases this song right after pix of kasseem jr’s bday party
actually the song was released as part of swizz beats’ “monster mondays” series. He releases a new song on line every monday and I believe he mentioned something about this being the last one of the year so he wanted to make it special. I’m pretty sure it’s only a coincidence it dropped a few days after the birthday pics.
I still don’t get why Mashonda is mentioned in a topic that has nothing to do with her whatsoever. Regardless how Swizz and AK hooked up, let’s hope their child is being raised in a loving and safe environment.

They were not friends. And I don’t think Alicia is the reason the marriage ended. Mashonda said that she & Swizz were together when he had his oldest son with another woman. So, he has cheated before. Mashonda has to take responsibility for staying a situation where her man is unfaithful. It’s not her fault, but she definately had an idea that he might cheat again. Seems like their issues started well before Alicia entered the picture. True enough, they should have waited until he was divorced. Publically is looks really bad for them. And if they were creeping while Mashonda and Swizz were still really together as a couple, then they’ll have to deal with the concequences that come with that. However, her love for her child and the cute song she wrote for him is totally unrelated to this other drama.
Swizz also has a lovely daughter by another woman. I believe that she is young than Mashonda’s son. Which means they were still married when she was conceiced. So Swizz has a pattern of cheating. She’s put up with this same crap from him for years. Mashonda is only making a big deal over this because Alicia Keys is famous.

Yes! Swizz Beatz has a two year old daughter named, Nicole. She was conceived while Mashonda and Swizz were legally married. I am not sure they were together in a loving marriage.

I do believe what M tld Jamie in the S2S interview. Verus Swizz & AK who repeatedly lied. When there were pics of them, when it was reported she threw him a party @ guggenheim, both lied and denied. ff to earlier this year when she annouced she is preg(by a still married man) and engaged…as if the engagement cancels out the multitude of other wrong stuff.
