GILBERT ARENAS ABANDONS HIS PREGNANT WIFE AND CHILDREN?
NBA player Gilbert Arenas has allegedly cut off communication and funds from his wife Laura Govan and their three children, reports the Washington Post:

Govan, who is four months pregnant with their fourth child, “has not heard from Arenas the whole month of December,” said publicist Laura Wright in an e-mailed statement. “Govan and the children feel like they have been abandoned.”
Wright – who has worked for Govan’s sister Gloria and her fiance, Los Angeles Lakers forward Matt Barnes – said that Govan was left at their Great Falls home “with no money to purchase food or Christmas gifts.”
A representative for the Orlando Magic, playing in Cleveland on Tuesday night, said they had not been able to reach Arenas for comment by press time.
The breakup happened around Thanksgiving. Though he didn’t reveal a relationship rift at the time, Arenas recently told reporters he had been staying with Wizards teammate Nick Young for about a month.Read More

Gilbert doesn’t want to marry her and they haven’t been together for 8 years – Gilbert was messing with Gloria first until Laura swooped in! She is BAD NEWS! It’s factual that she slept with Shaq, Chris Webber, and quite a few other players. She tried to serve Gilbert at a basketball game after she had the first baby and they eventually settled – she’s a mess! She just was just spotted court side in LA using tix she bought herself. No sympathy for being crazy!
Should have been married before getting knocked up repeatly. Wouldn’t have been so easy for him to leave without giving up that paper. I think hispanic and black women have far to many kids without being married anyway. Suffer the little children.
Playing wifey doesn’t give you the same privliages as being married. She and her sister are both a mess and don’t seem to understand that. And what does she call abandoned and struggling because being left in a manison with all your luxury thing is the complete opposite. Maybe she stop using her children to get a paycheck and use her degree she supposedly has and go get a real job.
I really don’t see how the married/not married part is too relevant. The point is they were bonded together and were starting a life together. Whether it was documented or not isn’t too relevant. What is relevant is that she cheated with Shaq. I was shocked this relationship didn’t end sooner. I can’t imagine he isn’t wondering if the child she’s carrying is really is.
That said none of this is the children’s fault. Even if he is questioning all of their paternity, he has laid claim to them up to this point and owes it to them to continue being a father at least until it is proven that he isn’t.
I wish bck would have put the pics up of her and the kids. Let everyone see her all glamorized while the kids hair isn’t comb and the shoes are on the wrong feet. smh. There is a lot of holes in this story and she isn’t being 100% truthful. smh lies people tell
I’m not surprised by this story @ all…he is the same man who ran from child support with there first child…did she think she could expect more out of Gil. And think its kind of funny to see that she says he didn’t leave any money for food or xmas gifts when I clearly just saw Laura last night @ the Fantasia Concert here in DC…sitting in the front row rocking a brand new Berkin bag…so apparently somebody has a little bit of $$

@Trista, I was being sarcastic. Although I think that was probably her reason for the kids. He may not be paying now, but he will when it’s court ordered.
But I’m sure he doesn’t save/invest his money wisely. So a year after he’s out of the league, he’ll probably be broke like the rest of them and there will be no money coming in for those kids. Not the thousands of dollars per kid that she will want, anyways.

THEY WERE JUST “PLAYING HOUSE”. She didn’t think enough about herself or the situation, she was bringing any future child in to this world. That man was in trouble with the law and she cheated on him REPEATEDLY. She had all his kids and he never and will never marry her. She brought this on her self, so I really don’t care about her OR her kids (which might not even be his).
Well, she cheated on him with Shaq, which contributed to Shaunie and Shaq break-up and now Karma has come back on her. You can’t do dirty stuff like that to other ppl and think that you will be ok. Karma

Why do people continue to bring children into tumultuous relationships? It was like yesterday when BCK was showing pics of her baby shower with, I guess, baby #3. I don’t understand? I know every relationship gets tested, but I can’t wrap my mind around bringing innocent children into mess. Lord, please help those babies. SMH.

More like Gilbert Arenass!! No matter what is going on between the parents the kids are innocent. I am sure their is more to this story but I also believe dude is an A** with a capital A. He actions in the past have more than shown that. I feel sorry for the kids.
