KEYSHIA COLE: MOTHERHOOD IS “DRAMATICALLY BEAUTIFUL”
Keyshia Cole sits with her son Daniel Gibson Jr., 9 months, at the Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Orlando Magic game on Tuesday night.
The singer recently spoke about the joys of motherhood and says that it has been “dramatically beautiful.”
“I’m so blessed to have him. I said God always comes on time because at that time I was going through that with family I was so hurt from it. Me being pregnant and coming to terms with myself and understanding that I’m having a baby now. So now I have to give my child everything that I wanted my mom to give me that I didn’t receive. And his father is going to be here and we’re engaged and we’re going to be married! God put so many things in your life for a reason so take heed to it and be thankful. So many things came that were bad but it was so many good things that came that made me realized a lot about who I am, about my fans, about you guys being here, about how much of a blessing it is to have actually made it this far even though a lot of things were happening that were kind of hurtful to me. It made me appreciate the good things,” she says

yeah, that heart wit the big ole dagger thru it is not what it is lol! it was weird before and even less appropriate now that she’s a mom. i mean what is she gonna say to him if he gets older and decides he wants one too.

Keyshia’s life has changed so much and she seems more grounded, now that she is a mom. Baby D is so cute. Not gona say who he looks like cuz babies costly change.
It’s funny how people have kids with people who look like them and then folks can’t tell who the baby looks like because it looks like both parents.

I agree!!!! This child is a carbon copy of Keyshia fo sho. Her own little mini-me. Daniel’s genetic genes didn’t mark baby Daniel at all…Lol.

I miss her gap too! It was so pretty on her….oh well. I blame the industry for pressuring her to “perfect” her image, when it was already perfect for her!
