Bring yourself down honey, and I don’t have any kids, but it’s not everyone’s hopes for their kids to be famous, singers or actors, and everyone is not a hater just because they have a different opinion on what children should be doing with their time or aspiring to accomplish in life.

Nobody Is Hype In The 1st Place.. Like U Said These Comments Are Opinions Just Like Mine. So I Have The Right 2 Say What I Feel And U have Urs. So Let Leave It At That!

No, he’s not the Chris Brown protege. I saw that little guy’s video on 106 this week, talking about Space Jams and lambos, like he can even drive. It was very auto-tuned.

    • Kaye_Latimore March 15, 2011 at 10:30 pm

Ok, I Have To Defend My Friends. That Boy Who’s voice is auto-tuned is my bestfriend jawan harris. Yes he may not be able to drive yet. Isn’t it better that he sings about it then going out doing something unproductivce !

Yall People Are Some Haters. JACOB DIGGY AND ALL THE OTHER YOUNG STARS DOING THEY THING SO DONT BE UPSET !

  • theyknow January 28, 2011 at 2:03 pm

I am all for any kid who is not getting in trouble or doing harm to others. I feel that if you have talent you shld not let it go to waist, no matter what your age is. I mean you have to start at some age, so why not when you are young? There are so many kids who have talent and dont get discovered so I am so happy for any child that is doing there thing, espicially black kids. I just wish people wld keep negativity to themselves!!

  • Pisces January 27, 2011 at 8:56 pm

Well, all of the kids mentioned are all African American and trying to do something positive, so, like the cover on Jacob Latimore’s disc says, “Like Em All”. I like all of them, especially for being clean cut and staying focused and out of trouble, and representing their families so nicely.

    • C-Sassy January 27, 2011 at 11:56 pm

You know Pisces, after reading your comment and after just finishing watching a A&E tv show called “Beyond Scared Straight”, I will be more supportive of all of these kids, here, including Jaden and Willow. Even though I disagree with the school issue on their part. Anyway, the tv show was about boys and girls that have been arrested for stealing, drugs, breaking the law etc. You are right that these kids are doing something positive and staying out of trouble. I apologize for any negative comment I made on this site about any kids. But if something is funny, I will laugh.

      • Pisces January 28, 2011 at 3:45 pm

Luv ya, C-Sassy for sharing your thoughts. That show, Scared Straight, is phenomenal, isn’t it? I agree with you that education is the key to success for the average person in our society and our President and others preceding him reinforce that getting and keeping USA kids competitive through academics in this global economy is crucial.

I know you care about our kids…I read your passion and I LOVE IT!
Freedom of speech..just keep on doing you it makes for good debates at BCK.

      • Pisces January 28, 2011 at 5:13 pm

C-Sassy, you ARE supportive of our kids when you write. Your passion for education shines through when you comment. You can tell that you care about and value formal education. I do, too.

I like that show Scared Straight, too. It’s not only thought provoking and chilling, but educational as well. It should do the job of scaring kids into doing right…I know I was scared at times watching it.

You have wonderful communication skills that spark debate at this site and that’s great. Be yourself…it’s all good. :)

He’s cute but I’m not really feeling the song.

It just seems some common and nothing about him stands out from the other thousands of boys who can carry a small note. I would like to hear him sing live without any auto-tune or whatever.

Diggy is nothing more than a rich kid with famous parents. He doesn’t differ from the average kid out with trying to rap. He just has a famous dad attached to his name.

    • bck reader January 27, 2011 at 11:55 pm

couldn’t agree with you more about the Diggy comments. which is why i don’t typically post under his topics. i don’t see anything very special about him. only that he’s part of a famous family, that is all.

as for Jacob, can’t really knock his song. i’m beyond 14, so i don’t feel like i’m the target audience. hey, if that’s what the kids like these days. he’s like a black Justin Bieber i guess lol!

    • Shanice January 28, 2011 at 12:26 pm

I’ve checked the little dude out. I try to find music that I think my nieces and nephews would like. He has a lot of cover videos on youtube and I think he’s pretty talented. Too bad my niece is stuck on Keri Hilson and my nephew thinks Gucci is the best rapper alive. SMH

  • April January 27, 2011 at 7:00 pm

Qt Jazz looking cute in this video.

  • Destiny January 27, 2011 at 5:58 pm

I’ve noticed people only attack the Smith kids for being “pimped or exploited” but never the Simmons kids?Hmm I wonder why. Because you can’t tell me Diggy would get a record deal if it wasn’t for his last name. That is all.Cute kids though.

    • Misfit January 27, 2011 at 6:43 pm

I agree with you! Diggy is cool and all, but he doesn’t sound any different than the kids out there that rap over beats in garage band. Everyone’s talking about how “nice” he is, but no one can quote him.

The Simmons didnt pimp out their kids though. They had a reality show & they weren’t overexposed. The eldest daughters started their own business because they’re adults. The eldest son was trying to be a rapper. I don’t see how they’re being pimped out. I am OVER the Smiths though. I never cared for Will or Jada, but I always liked the kids. Now? I’m tired of seeing them, so this is the first and last comment I’m making about them.

    • C-Sassy January 27, 2011 at 6:49 pm

I don’t think none of these celebrity parents are purpose pimpin’ out their kids. The celeb parents have connections, so why not use them?

Anyway, this post isn’t about Will’s kids or Diggy’s dad. It is about Jacob Latimore! So please keep the attention and comments on him.

    • amber February 2, 2011 at 10:59 am

      i completely agree

  • C-Sassy January 27, 2011 at 5:55 pm

    He kind of favor Pharrell.

  • C-Sassy January 27, 2011 at 5:29 pm

HAHA, This was a cool video! I liked this video, so creative and entertaining. Jacob can really sing,at (saw him in a movie last year) and dance. Diggy was awesome, as well.

I hope boys move away from the skinny jeans, though. I hope Jacob and Diggy, go far.
