THE KIDS REALLY HAVE BEAUTIFUL SKIN AND HAIR. I LOVE IT WHEN I SEE A DARK SKIN PERSON WITH SOFT BEAUTIFUL HAIR BECAUSE SOME PEOPLE THINK WE CANNOT HAVE BEAUTIFUL HAIR LIKE THAT, AND BE DARK SKIN. THE KIDS ARE DARK SKIN AND GORGEOUS. I LOVE IT!

They’re soooooo cute, but can anybody explain whats up with the names?
I know shilo is a biblical name…thats cool, but I’m struggling with the pronunciations of the other two. I think they’re beautiful & unique names, just wondering if anyone knows the stories behind them…if any?

    • Michelle M March 18, 2011 at 3:49 pm

      Shedeur (pronounced Sha-door)

      Shelomi (pronounced shal-oh-my)

There both biblical names as well.

No matter what, there will be comments about skin color–why everyday?????

    • Vee March 17, 2011 at 4:15 pm

For real. Some black people are so obsessed with skin color. I thought we all knew that black people come in all kinds of shades and before that topic gets started, that we’ve got all kinds of hair types too. Lets move on…lol. :P

      • KekeB March 18, 2011 at 9:51 am

Since when did it become wrong for Black People to compliment each other and praise our beauty… smh the world is coming to a crashing end.

    • Tiger Blood March 17, 2011 at 6:18 pm

All she said was that she liked their skin color. Why are yall making a big deal out of that??? She did say nothing ofensive. The truth is they do have a nice skin completion. Yall really need to get a grip and stop making a big deal out of everything someone says.

      • Tiger Blood March 17, 2011 at 6:19 pm

        Typo-”she didn’t say nothing offensive”.

        • Joseph March 17, 2011 at 10:23 pm

Tiger Woods is that you? I thought you were Caublasian?

        • Tiger Blood March 18, 2011 at 2:06 am

@Joseph-LOL! Lmao, naw I got this name from Charlie Sheen’s rants last week. He said he had “Tiger Blood” which suppose to mean he is fierce and not afraid of anyone/anything. LOL!!!

To everyone else, lets just move on away from this subject bc it seems as though whenever someone says something ppl want to police them and intimidate them on here. I notice if someone comment on someone hair/skin color yall want to jumop down their throats. So lets just move on and leave it alone.

        • You Were Correct The First Time March 20, 2011 at 5:29 pm

Tiger Blood, you were correct the first time: “She did say nothing offensive.” I usually do not mention grammatical problems, because this is a blog and not an English class. However, since you thought that you were wrong, I had to let you know that the first way was correct, because two negatives equal a positive. Therefore, when you tried to correct yourself: “she didn’t say nothing offensive.” You were really saying that she didn’t say nothing offensive, because everything she said was offensive. Nevertheless, you could have said it this way: ”she didn’t say anything offensive” and the sentence would have been correct.

I am an English tutor, and whenever I read comments on blogs and people think that they have written something incorrectly, I just try to help.

Okay, carry on I am done. Oh, I forgot, the children are all beautiful.

      • ShaFelinmii March 17, 2011 at 7:51 pm

Funny how the main people talking about not talking about color is talking about color all Trina! said was that they had pretty skin. Its rich Chocolate and glowy if African American not allowed to comment on “OUR” skin tones then who is. Successful NFL player with a Black wife and a black family I consider them as
antiques they just dont make them anymore lol just kidding!

        • Hmm March 17, 2011 at 8:21 pm

But must it be commented on every time the children’s parents are both black? It’s really ridiculous on this site. Get out in the real world, most balck children have black parents–it’s not rare!

        • Vee March 17, 2011 at 10:21 pm

LOL…yeah, I’m talking and? There you go talking about it too. :P
And there you go acting like it’s a novelty that an NFL player has a black wife and family. You getting all bent out of shape, maybe you’re one of the people we were talking about.

        • Tiger Blood March 18, 2011 at 2:14 am

@ShaFelinmii, so true. Its funny too bc just two days ago someone said that Mashonda had pretty skin color and no one said nothing. So why can’t someone say Deion kids have pretty skin today? Whenever someone comment like: “she has pretty long hair” or “they have some pretty skin”, people on here become really offensive. Its ridiculous. I know I will say what is on my mind and don’t give a damn what anyone else think. If someone has pretty hair then guess what? They got pretty long hair. If someone has pretty skin, then guess what? They got pretty skin and hair and its nothing wrong with saying so. Please people, get over yourself. You don’t run this site.

It really makes me wonder if ppl that dislike these positive comments, have self-esteem issues or are not happy with how they look? I think so.

    • Amber March 17, 2011 at 12:43 pm

Most pastimes spent oN wAtEr usually bonds people. I remember going white water rafting: it’s like “I better bond & piss anyone off in case they have to save my life!” lol

      • ShaFelinmii March 17, 2011 at 7:41 pm

        LOL funny but true!
