WILLOW SMITH HELPS CELEBRATE RADIO DISNEY’S 15TH BIRTHDAY
Willow Smith stopped by Radio Disney studios yesterday to wish the station a very happy birthday. This coming Monday(April 18th), the pint-size star will takeover the Disney airwaves in celebration of Radio Disney’s 15th birthday.
Reports website Zap2it, “The bubbly 10-year-old stopped by the studio for some birthday cake and to shoot an ad for her radio takeover with Ernie D. this Monday (Apr. 18). Zap2it has your first look at the 30-second-spot before it is set to air during Thursday’s “American Idol” on FOX.”

Her hair is very neat and cute in this photo. I don’t really like braids at all, but I like how neatly they’re done on Willow and accentuate her pretty little face.
I love Willow. She’s spunky and has great energy. She is also cute as a button. I am not a member of the Smith Family and was not paid to post here.
I do not get why there is such a strong negative reaction to this child. People question her “talent”. We all live in the real world, and know that talent does not always equal a star. There are hundreds of little girls that can out sing Willow. Hundreds of little girls who can out dance Willow. Hundreds of little girls who are prettier, smarter, and more humble. We also know that without the right combination of talent, preparation and opportunity, these would be stars will never make it onto radio, tv or movie screens. This little girl is blessed to have talent(you can debate about how much she has all you want, but she has some), beauty and charisma. But more than any of that, she has parents who saw her desire for a particular career and had the means to prepare her for that career and create opportunities for her. I am sure that is something we would all love to do for our children. Every one of us would do it if we could. What parent wouldn’t? Wealthy people have done this type of thing for their children throughout time. There is no need to constantly point out that there are others more talented than this little girl. If you don’t like her music, stop listening, don’t buy it. If enough people feel the way you do, she will disappear soon enough. If you love some other more talented child and want to see them successful, use your energy to spread the word about him/her and help make them a star.
I can’t speak for anyone else but when I refer to talent, I am referring to *innate* talent as in natural talent or the talent you are born with (God’s gift). Michael Jackson was talented. His gift could easily be seen in the videos of him as a child. I think Jaden has a natural or innate talent for acting. The best (former child) actor I can compare him with is Elijah Woods. I’m sorry but I just don’t see a natural talent for music in Willow, pretty and charming or not. It would be a waste *IF* she spent years in the music industry, only to discover much later that she was naturally gifted in writing fiction (for example).
I agree with you luvbug..I just looked at the other post on Jawan Harris, who really CAN sing. Hmm he has about 4 comments, no ones fighting over there. Its just sad to me that people will jump on here to scream how extremely talented Willow is but won’t even look twice at that post. It just proves my point that people are just obsessed over title, status, and fame. Their opinions are not reality based.
Not sure why there is an uproar whenever someone states an opinion of Willow (her music, clothing, or hairstyle) that does not fall into the praise and accolades category. Personally, I think she is a very pretty girl and will likely be a beauty when she is older. However, IMO, I don’t think she is exceptionally talented. This is an *opinion,* not an expression of hatred. I do not hate the little girl. Why would I? I don’t think Justin Bieber is all that talented either. Popular, yes. Talented, no. I doubt he will still be around ten years from now.
Um, actually they are. There is a Facebook page called, ‘Go Away Justin Bieber.’ Also, check out how many dislikes he has on YouTube. One of his videos has over 1,000,000 dislikes. That’s not good.

I think that when you have children her age dressing scantily, having sex, selling drugs, joining gangs, skipping school, getting suspended from school, doing adult crimes etc…, to see someone TRYING to do something positive only to be beat/tore down by ALLEGED adults is just sad. I’m not going to spend a dime of my money on Willow but because she is trying to do something positive, I support her and I’m all about praising children that are doing positive things.
We don’t support ALL of “our” children (not “our” in the literal sense) who are doing positive things no matter how their opportunity(ies) came about, yet when we see them on blogs and in the news doing negative things, we wanna talk ish.

I believe that over half of the comments up here praising Willow are not from real users. They are paid on behalf of the Smith camp and that’s obvious. The moment someone states the truth about Willow not being talented they are automatically called a hater or deleted. I know some ppl want her to go away already, but as a mother of a little girl who watches a lot of nick and disney I am glad that she has someone to watch or look at who resembles her. I love willow not for myself, but for my daughter because she loves to dance and I just think that it is good she can dance to Willow and not Miley Cyrus. I was somewhat bummed when Raven’s TV show went off the air because that was another show she could watch. I am not playing the race card by any means, I am just happy to see someone on TV my daughter can identify with without being overly explicit and half dressed. She can watch ppl like her on tv, but I rather she not see the garbage that is presented by them.
