Here we go again,….another Confused mixed raced kid. !!!!!!He dilute the blackness down to 10% to feel good about himself. We Italians don’t view him as one of us. When his hair grows it grows into an afro, i’ve seen his teenage break-dancing video on the internet and this guy as a teenage had an afro.

Vin has always identified his African American roots and he called himself a mutt in his break dancing days. Most people know about his racial ancestry so I’m glad to see him with his daughter but I hear he has other children as well.

I initially didn’t realize this guy was black. He doesn’t publicly i.d. as that. I didn’t realize he had a daughter and this is my first time seeing her. Adorable. Seriously doubt he bleached his skin, we all have pics where we look much lighter or darker, I was scratchin’ my head how MJ made his way yet again into another unrelated thread, lol!

I agree gtsa. Grant it, I don’t follow him or have seen every interview he has ever given but what I have seen, he always seem so elusive and I never understood why.
I personally don’t find him that interesting. I commented because I didn’t know he had a daughter and these people are different than the regular run of the mill celebs always featured.
I do like all of the different families/kids featured on the site today. It is so fresh and nice, indicative of Spring and newness.

How is Vin Disiel interesting? I bet the majority of the ppl commenting isn’t a true fan of his. Brock-Akil is interesting and her shows and movies are good. Holly has done a lot for Autism and she gets 2-6 comments on most days. Mara Brock-Akil and her hubby has done a lot of community service and opened doors for Black actors and communitiies..she is interesting.
But I understand where you are coming from and respect your opinion. I just think we could show more love to others as much as we do for the select few.
I have to agree with Seriously–only the controversial posts (usually containing mixed race children) get the most interest as demonstrated by posts. It does often look like black children with two black parents are overlooked as far as interest goes.

I’ve noticed that too, but if you notice in the post about Heidi’s kids & other posts w/ a lot of comments, majority of the comments are usually complaints. People complaining about the childs hair, complaining about the childs clothes, bashing the father, talking negatively about a mother, saying a childs is acting too grown. The reason this has a lot of comments is b/c someone brought up Micheal Jackson and race, things that are way off topic. But this also has a lot of comments b/c a lot of us haven’t seen this kid, so we want to comment on her cuteness lol. Reginae has two black parents & she gets lots of comments b/c people want to complain about something. Same for Willow & Swizz Beatz kids

Vin has stated in the past that he was African American and Italian but he doesn’t go around talking about it all the time and it is not necessary for him to do so.

Paul has lighter skin & blue eyes. I’m assuming Vin (Mark) was teased about his darker complexion for him to have made the comment he made. That comment I’m referring to is:hated the fact he was darker than his siblings. Maybe it’s just me but I think his complexion is fine.
I am the lightest one in my family & although I was teased, I love my complexion. You know, it’s no wonder the first part of complexion is complex because I believe people have an extremely huge issue with it.

Because I’ve known MULTIPLE people with vitiligo and NEVER have I seen a case where their WHOLE body turned a different shade ALL AT ONCE.
Vitiligo- is a disorder that causes depigmentation in PATCHES of skin.
They may get a patch on their hand, then one on their elbow that gradually get lighter and larger…but I’ve never seen anyone wake up one morning an entire shade lighter than they were the day before. *shrugs* So IDK…

Micheal did have Vitilago & he did have patches all over his body which is why he bleached his skin. As an entertainer he didn’t want to be seen on TV, in concert and other places performing w/ two toned spots all over his body. So he bleached his skin so he can be all one color. But of course the ignorance of all the people looking in from the outside didn’t see it like that. Its kind of like put yourself in his situation where your waking up some mornings and seeing white spots in places that weren’t there before? If you had the money to just make your skin tone all 1 color instead of going thru the emotional pain of being looked at for having this disease, wouldn’t you?

It was conformed in michael’s official autopsy report that he had vitiligo. Do a google search and see for yourself.
Also you are highly misinformed about vitiligo, just because the few people you know with vitiligo were affected in a certain way doesn’t mean all sufferers have the same experience. Vitiligo doesnt work that way. It affects every person differently.
Michael DID have spots on his body even at the time of his death. It was mentioned in the autopsy report as well. There a thing vitilgi sufferers use called MAKEUP that can give the appearance of uniform skin.
Lastly vitiligo can turn victims completely and uniformly snow white. Google image “desiree vitiligo” and “darcel vitiligo turns white” and you will see.
His parents confirmed it. Also, the vitiligo web site confirmed it. There is no cure for vitiligo. I knew a girl (black and originally had a warm, chocolate complexion) who had vitiligo when she was in grade school. By the time she graduated from high school, much of her skin was white like paper. That’s vitiligo, not bleaching creams.
Coming from a fan of MJ: for the 100th time, the man is dead. He no longer cares what others say about him, he’s in the ultimate happy place. It’s not that serious.
It appeared MJ had vitiligo & decided to lighten his skin to match the discoloration so he could avoid being ridiculed from his father.
That is how MJ went from black to half white. Vitiligo doesn’t explain his hair texture changing though but that’s just me.
Now, I understand the hair better than I do the skin change. I saw a clip from the Pepsi commercial and his head was burnt quite badly. The top and entire back of his hair was burnt off… completely bald! I’m sure that he had to wear the lace-fronts and wigs because he could no longer grow hair.
