  1. Greetings from California! I’m bored to death at work so I decided to check out your blog on my iphone during lunch break. I love the info you provide here and can’t wait to take
a look when I get home. I’m amazed at how quick your blog loaded on my phone .. I’m not even using WIFI,
just 3G .. Anyways, great site!

  2. 1ST OFF THE LITTLE GIRL NAME IS NOT LYRIC..ITS LYRIE..GO 2 YOUTUBE “THE LAST DAYZ OF LIL BOOSIE ESP.8″..I KNOW CUZ I NAME MY DAUGHTER LYRIE AFTER HER.

  3. I love yo see brothers and sisters together..boosie kids look like there taken care of regarless of him being in jail..those names r jst sad..Lyric Beyonce..such a cutie the name I$ ghetto

  4. @Tiana I don’t care what the french orgin is the name is still hood! I don’t have to read a book to know that it is my opinion. Just as I think Solange is hood what orgin does that come from

  5. @Tiana I don’t care what the meaning of it is the name is hood!! It was hood for her momma also so u get ur facts straight honey!!

  6. @Lyric Beyonce’s Mommie

LOL stop lying he’s not coming out next year,
ahahah you need to change that little girls name did you forget
she has to grow up to be an adult, typical country ghetto filthy broads.

  7. Knowing the current state of their father; I look at these babies and feel nothing but sadness. How can you judge anything about them? They will for sure be judged enough in life – with a “ghetto” name or not. These kids will no doubt have enough issues, so instead of throwing shade their way, why not send prayer and positive vibes their way? All this extraness is really uncalled for. Yes, I know, it is merely “opinion”, but, sometimes it boils down to having a little tact and compassion.

P.S. I am a southerner, born and raised. I have ONE child. What I find funny about people judging the south is all the droves of people who flee from the north to seek a “better life” in the south. Why would you move somewhere of such low class/standards?! Hahaha yeah, us southerners are not so slow and dimwitted after all…just come to Texas for a visit :)

  8. REALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LYRIC BEYONCE REALLY SHE MUST OF BEEN EITHER HIGH OR DRUNK OR A DIE HARD FAN OF BEYONCE’S EITHER OR

  9. All of Torrance’s kids are absolutely gorgeous. They are all innocent, precious little angels from God. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion! The names may not work for you, but they are pleasing to the parents. Torrance is at Louisiana State Penitentiary on a drug charge and he has been indicted on a murder charge. He will go to court in June and hopefully everything works out as to he’ll be home in November. Only God knows what the future holds. All I can do is continue to support him and be there for him. He is holding up well….I receive atleast 2 letters weekly, we talk everyday and I visit twice a month. Ms. Connie is truly precious and having her to talk with keeps me sane. Yes, 7 kids are allot but they are all very well taken care of. So please, being negative about a child’s name is pointless, what do you have to gain? It’s just not a very good look. I recently visited Torrance and I met C-Murder’s fiance …. she is the most positive person I’ve ever met. We talked prior to getting on the bus and she advised me then to stay off the websites-they will get you down everytime. While no one is ever completely cetain about what the future holds, even in the real world, I can only pray and hope for the best. My advice to all … let the negativity go and focus on the names of your children and the ones you may have later on! GOD BLESS!!

  10. I see so many comments ripping these children’s names apart some even stating their parents are holding them back with those names, no company will hire them blah blah blah… My point is the same people that will judge a Beyonce or a Iviona will judge a name like Barack or a Marijuana Pepsi (that one is a bit out there even for me) but that didn’t stop them from excelling..

    • It’s really unfortunate, huh? The will to succeed comes from within and not your name! I totally agree with you. Some people lift themselves up by putting others down!

  11. I wonder what people thought when they saw the name Barack Hussein Obama on a resume or any document for that matter…

      • @ And Her Name Is Me, I totally agree. This thread is part funny and part sad in my opinion.

“IMO I think Barack’s name is powerful. It says something.”

    • Me personally? That he was an African man.

I personally don’t think those names are ghetto, per se. When I see a name that makes me shake my head, no matter the origin, I sigh & whisper, why?

No other emotion outside of that.

  12. Well if the names don’t tell you they are ghetto then all you need to do is look at their heads and the gang signs they are throwing up. Why do some women feel the need to have their kid’s heads looking like Christmas presents? Bobbles, bow and barrettes galore!

  13. ALL THESE KIDS ARE BEAUTIFUL..I DONT THINK THEY SHOULD BE JUDGED BY THEIR NAMES OR THEIR FATHERS’ MISTAKES IN LIFE! THIS IS JUST TOO SAD THAT PEOPLE CANT JUST SHOW LOVE TO THESE KIDS..BUT HEY THATS WHAT PEOPLE DO THAT DONT HAVE A LIFE..WHO ARE WE TO JUDGE WHAT SOMEONES NAME IS? ITS JUST SAD..WE HAVE ALLLLLL THESE ENTERTAINERS NAMING THEIR KIDS ALL KINDS OF OFF THE WALL NAMES AND AS SOON AS “OUR” PEOPLE SEE “BLACK”KIDS WITH SOME OF THESE NAMES WE AUTOMATICALLY LABEL THEM “GHETTO” I HAVE NEVER HEARD SOMEONE CALLING BEYONCE’S NAME GHETTO UNTIL YOU ALL SEE LIL BOOSIES DAUGHTER NAMED BEYONCE…HOW SAD!

  14. Lyric Beyonce?? AAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! Sorry, but that is GHETTO to the 100th power. Lyric is nice. Her middle name (Beyonce) could have been left out. THAT IS HORRENDOUS! Why?? Why?? LOL! She is going to be UPSET when she gets older. I wouldn’t even let people know what my middle name is. They could’ve named her Lyric Giselle or Lyric Skye. Something other than Beyonce. Lil’ mama, I apologize for the person that gave you that middle name. All in all, she’s a beautiful little girl. SMDH @ the person who gave her that middle name.

  15. Companies discriminate against BLACK PEOPLE. Since people will be black forever, hopefully, the BS about ghetto names is stupid. Get over yourselves, black folks. A company that won’t hire a Toriano because it sounds black is not going to hire the black Megan. Getting “the interview” so to speak is not a consolation prize. Next?

And, Toriano, Ivy, Lyric, Ivonia and MJ don’t scream anything close to black.

    • It’s not just black names, it is many cultural names. Unfortunately we live in this world and people judge. My husband is a black man with a latin name and it has caused him discrimination.

  16. @Tiana I was with u until u said Beyonce wasn’t ghetto that name is hood but again that’s what the parents like who r we to judge

    • Go read a book. What’s “hood” about it? Smh. The name “Beyoncé” comes from her mother’ maiden name of french orgin. Beyonce’s mother’s name before marriage was “Celestine Ann Beyincé” and she decided to give her daughter the name for her first name and change the “i” to an “o” to make a slight difference. some of you just like to talk out the behind without knowing what you’re talking about. Just because YOU’VE never heard it before, doesn’t mean it’s “hood” or “ghetto”. It means it’s unique and uncommon. Geez. Your mentality is “hood”.

  17. Personally it’s not for us to like the kids names that’s what their parents like. Bootsie is 27 soon to be 28 and his kids are adorable just to add I don’t think Bootsie would of had 7 kids if he new his a** would be going to the BIG HOUSE!

  18. I wish people would stop associating everthing that’s different and black with the word “ghetto”. I mean cauasian celebs give their kids weird names and they are almost NEVER called “ghetto”, but a black person does it and it’s automatically “ghetto” without even knowing how it came about. For the record I don’t see anything wrong with the fact that the childs name is “Lyric Beyonce”. I just think it’s weird considering Beyonce’s name is a family name (and an uncommon one at that)and they’re not really family (not to the publics knowledge). It’s not something you’d hear everyday, but if you did you’d probably know that person was a relative. There is absolutely NOTHING “ghetto” about the name “Beyonce”.

    • Tiana, thank you. Ghetto is indeed beginning to be associated simply with black and or typically black associated expressions and we are the prime cause of this. For some its a way of saying, “I’m not one of those people”. Its an increasingly dismissive, misappropriated and overused term.

As for the so called ghetto names, yes, some names are way out there, but I admire the creativity of a few.

  19. Even if the names didnt have “meaning” that would still be fine, and why do people have to clown kids’ names and say “people are going to make fun of them” who cares
if they named their kids those names…apparently thats what they wanted to do…im sure some of you think Apple and all those names are “cute”….people can name theirr kids whatever they want and it would be a miserable life if people based thier every move on what othes might say or think….seriously get a clue people…

  20. Um….How is “Beyonce” a “ghetto” name? Do you know what the definition of ghetto is? I suggest you go look it up before you type foolishness….

  21. Actually his son’s name is Ivory Ray for his mentor and Iviona was named after his dad. Tori and Tootie (Torrance Jr) come from his name and I think Lyric’s name is cute! Most of his kids names have meanings. Dont be so quick to judge!

  22. Ok, Lyric Beyonce?? Lyric is cute, Beyonce not really feeling it. She’s probably going to feel like she has to live up to the name. Thank god he doesn’t have one name Rihanna. That would be some sibling rivalry haha.

The oldest one & the baby she is holding are Boosie’s twins! I can’t deal w/ the boys hair cuts tho haha
I’m loving the barrets in the little girls hair

  23. I normally don’t comment on things like this, but when it comes down to my kids, it’s serious. Luckily I’m not in my younger days cuz I would’ve got off ! Or do yall not know what “get off” mean ?? But yall don’t even matter, yall are on the web & over is here is real life, so get lost ! (speaking to the ones who had inappropriate comments)

    • If you ARE her mother, why on earth are you responding to these comments? Do you know how many sites you will have to go to arguing with people? And, if you think this is bad, wait until they start school. The teachers won’t say it to your face, but they will most certainly prejudge your children. Believe me, I’ve seen it. You concentrate on raising your children to the best of your ability, because you are now both mother and father. Worry about the rest later.

    • And why on earth did you name your kids those ridiculous names? Companies discriminate against potential employees with “hood” names.

    • You Liar! I looked it up and he IS facing several charges and murder charges. He is NOT coming home this year you liar! And I don’t think you that girl mama

  24. Ah um **clears throat** Just wanted to clarify; Boosie is 28 with 7 kids, NOT married, DEFiNiTELY NOT a drug dealer & his 3 oldest kids are not for his ex ol’ lady. I’d also like to add that he’s coming home THiS year. I named Lyric “Lyric” & he named her “Beyonce”. Anyway for those who like to critize, ya ever heard the saying “if you don’t have anything good to say don’t say anything at all”. What you people fail to realize is that it’s OUR world & we live it the way we want & we do it the way we please. Why does it matter to you anyways?? That’s what’s wrong with people today, always spreading rumors & negativity. Thank you to all of you that complimented & your positive energy is appreciated.

  25. He is 27. Been with his wife for 11 years, maried before prison, whom he has the three oldest kids, Tootie, his namesake, Ivyona, pictured, and Tarlaysia. Then he has the four little ones pictured from various women. He is is prison for drug charges, which got him expelled from high school also, and now faces murder charges and the death penalty. These beautiful kids are the victims, and they all are beautiful not just Lyric.

      • They growing up without a dad, and his mom has a website because all his assets have been put on hold cause he is a drug dealer. So she is asking people to donate to help with his defense and take care of the kids. Google it.

    • 27-11=16. This kid was married at 16? In what state is that legal?

If stating his marital status was supposed to be a positive, why does he have 4 stair steppers by other various women?

Only 27 & has all that on his resume, yet I don’t anything positive or motivational listed.

No comment on the children or their names.

      • @Sherley….read closer, I was not defending him. He said in an interview he was with her for all that time, but apparently married her before prison and after all these babies. Their kids are 10, 8, and 6. The others are 4,3,2,1.

        • @Hmmmm..you read closely. Did I say you were defending him? No, I responded to your comment. Didn’t say anything personal towards you.

  26. So he is prison on murder charges and possibly faces the death penalty..He should have been smarter than that knowing that he has seven kids!

  27. Boosie’s father was named Ivy, so Iviona and Ivy are named after him. As for Toriana, I am assuming her name comes from Boosie’s real name, Torrance.

I am from the same town as Boosie, and I am appalled at the way some of you are generalizing and stereotyping Southerners! I can’t figure why these photographs are coming across as ghetto. Is it because they aren’t professional? Is it because the boys have on t-shirts and tanks? Maybe because they were taken in someone’s yard? If any of those are the case, it still isn’t a good reason to sling the term ghetto around.

    • I don’t think any of the things that you listed make it ghetto. But the following do: some of the names, 4 of the children look to be about the same age which means different “baby mamas”, he has seven children and is in prison – for starters. I too am from the south and am certainly not ghetto and know many more that are not, but this is.

    • I’m glad you cleared up the name situation…however some young mothers need to take into account that their children will grow up into adults and resent the names their parents have given them because they will be sterotyped by them. Sorry to say it but major corporation judge applicants by their names.

  28. SWEET JESUS o_O

He had an Iviona and an Ivy, but isn’t “Ivy” a boy?
Lyric sounds kinda fine without the Beyonce.
    The name Toriana is fine.
Ty’Layja…well we all know this is just mean on her mothers part, but Master P’s daughters names are far worse then this, so Ty… is kinda sorta maybe fine.
Tootie, I can’t comment on ’cause that must be a nickname.

All the children, pictured, look the same except LB.

  29. For one, i live in the south. And im not as you people say, “Ghetto.” and my mother has two children and thats including me, so get that ish together. And these kids can’t even take a easter pic without being judged. can BCK put some pics of you all’s kids so they can be judged, ugh.

    Oh and Lyric Beyonce, really?

  30. i’m not understanding these kids names. there is such a thing as too original. i love Beyonce as much as the next person, but don’t go namin all ya kids after her lol! especially if you call yourself wanting to put her in the music biz. yeah, that name’s already been taken. one of the somewhat manageable names up there Ivy, and it goes to a boy? lol!

i think it’s safe to say these kids belong to several baby mommas. ladies, ladies, what are we thinking?! anywho, the kids are cute. looks like someone is taking care of them…

  31. Please tell me Tootie is a nickname……you know what that’s ok it doesn’t make a difference either way that’s just sad!

  32. I have always loved the name Lyric for a little girl and she is such a cutie. Didn’t realize he had that many kids…Gosh!! How old is he?? All of the kids are cute though!!

    • Lil Boosie is from the “South”…They’re known to have a lot of kids. One family can have up to 20 kids and that’s the norm.

      • hey now, don’t go stereotyping the south now. we ain’t all living the ghetto unfabulous life lol! there are as many decent families here as there are in the north. likewise i’m sure there are some critters up north livin the lil boosie life just like this crew. it’s not regional, it’s communal (is that right in this context? lol!).

        • @ bck reader My bad that was mean…I might retire there in the future…So let me stop it. The cost of living is much affordable then Cali…

      • I have plenty of family in the south and have never encountered that. But, then again, it has a lot to do with class status.

  33. Ghetto pics on Easter. That’s that Dirty, Dirty for ya…Lol. The one with the Adiadas gear on looks just like him.

      • Hello everyone….OMG ,My friend Rachal, a 33 yrs lady, has announced her wedding with an excellent man. Every love story will unfold on it’s own—@Tiana I was with u until u said Beyonce wasn’t ghetto that name is hood but again that’s what the parents like who r we to judge
