I’m starting to think that black women have forgotten what their black children’s natural hair looks like. If you comb natural black hair, it will look like this.
There’s a difference between having “natural” hair and going around looking like Buckwheat by the head! Natural, permed, relaxed, naturally “good hair”, conked… I don’t care… run a comb through it! Period!!

Well said. I don’t think we will ever change especially with this new generation of mixed children and diverse families. Our society sees only one beauty and that’s fair skin tone, straight hair and a variety of eye colors. It will always be a comparison. Sad!!!!

What a close-knit family. They all love their mama to pieces. They were on Oprah not too long ago, and it was one of her best shows this final season. I grew up listening to Miss Ross, and I’m still a huge fan.

yeah biologically, Rhonda is the daughter of Berry Gordy. Then came Tracee and Chudney with the same dad (Robert Ellis Silberstein), whom she later divorced. Then the boys Ross and Evan are her sons with Arne Naess, whom she also divorced.
