OMG Chili is getting on MY nerves in these pictures. Let the boy have some space. I mean this is the first time I’ve seen him kick it with his daddy, she need to sit her old “I kiss my big/old son in the mouth” self down. I get really irritated with mothers do just TOO much, just sends the message to Tron that a woman needs to fight for his attention. Nah.. I smell trouble lurking in this boy’s future. Can we say 3 baby mamma’s before 25 (none of whom Chili will approve oc by the way…) Or on the flip side, can we say he might suffer from some Malik syndrom (The Game anyone) live at home with his mom but still think he a boss…

While I am not sure if I agree with some of your predictions (lol), I do understand what you are saying. I do feel that mothers tend to baby their sons which is really does the sons a disservice in many ways. What’s the saying? Mothers spoil their sons, but raise their daughters. I might have butchered that, but it is something like that.

I agree with Plain Mean..where do everyone get that she’s smothering him, they’re pictures, not a video to where you can actually see what was really happening. People take thing out of proportion too easily on this site. There is nothing wrong with a lil smothering especially nowadays, we have to keep close to our black sons..too many of them are being killed..I am a single mother on a 16 year old, I want him here with me and my family. So Chilli keep doing whatever you are doing..if it’s a lil smothering..!!

Where does everyone get that she is smothering him? She looks like a Mother who is expressing intrest in what her son is intrested in. The fact that all the camara angels are Frontal…lets me know that she is also posing for picutres.
No one knows because we’re not in her home. I just felt that from the pics she “looks” as though she’s smothering. She’s all over him and he seems to sort of be ignoring her. The way she’s glaring at him. And he looks sort of annoyed imo. I could be completely wrong because I’m assuming from a pic about people I don’t know, but that’s what people do when you’re famous! ::shrugs::

Chili always makes it known how much she loves and adores her son, so I can see why it may seem like she is smothering him,. He is her one and only baby. I only have one child and I’m the same way at times. Nothing wrong that at all!!
No, there’s definitely something wrong with smothering him. I love my son as well; most moms do love their kids. You can love without smothering.
If you dont live with them or know them personally then you really can’t say that she is smothering. I wish people would stp juding off of pics when you really don’t know anything.
Brawd can you not READ?!?! I said that she LOOKS smothering. I did not say that she is! I CAN’T say that she is. But in general, there is something wrong with being a smothering mother. It’s unhealthy, especially for the child. & have you seen the comments in a Swizz Beats/kids/Alicia post??? On any blog?? They are disgusting lol. People are mean. So she could be protecting him. B/c i know a Baby Egypt post is not going to have only “Awww he’s cute” comments, the comments are going to be very mean. People are going to want to “voice their opinions” on a 2 yr old subject lol. forgetting that Egypt, Prince, Kaseem (sp) & the little girl may one day google their parents & see all the harsh things that were being said about them, their siblings & parents.

Chilli is such a proud mama, she seems a lil over protective like myself. My friends and family even my husband they talk about me and call me mama hen but I could care less. I laugh them all off.

I like Dallas Austin..I love the songs and tracks that he produces and writes. I too think she is obessessed with Tron a bit too much. But if she found a man, she probably wouldn’t be like that.

Hey hey hey..I happen to be a single mom of a boy & I do not smother. Even being the only girl of 7 boys, I wasn’t babied nor spoiled as a child by anyone & I don’t think I possess the trait. Although I’m affectionate towards my son, I am not smothering. I hope he sees it the same…lol.
I’m the single mom of a boy as well. I didn’t say that all moms do it, but some do have their son fill the role of their man in a sense. Kind of like in the movie Jumping the Broom. Lol.
Exactly in Jumping the Broom..that annoyed me soooo much. I can deal with the smothering to an extent, it’s the treating their son like he’s their man that makes me ill.
What my son provides me with..pure unconditional love, genuine happiness; is completely different than what my man (I hope you guys can figure out what I’m referring to), will ever give me.
A child should never be made to step into adult roles.
