She really doesn’t look Latina at all.
Well,there’s a difference between race and nationality. Just like they have black people from Africa and America, they have black people from spanish speaking countries. So what does that mean ‘she doesn’t look latina”. They have Latinas with kinky hair, dark skin and wide noses.
WhiteLatina is always saying something. She always appears in threads about LaLa. Look at the username.
That’s true like Jlo and Christina Millian.both latina,and look different.
I have to agree with this comment. I’m sure we all saw Blacks In Latin America, where Black Latinos aren’t considered Latino at all and the whites treat them as if they were still in slavery. White Latinos and society in general believe there is a phenotype and color for Latino people; and brown/black Puerto Ricans do not fit that European standard. It’s really sad how much we are rejected by the White Latino majority.
Yes, I saw that documentary. It was very eye-opening and informative. Whites created what we know as “race” today in order to gather themselves together regardless of their nationality. It’s funny because many of the white people I know identify with their origins, i.e. Italian, Irish, Romanian, etc.
I can see the Latino in her clearly.
But if you were really Latina as your name claims then you would know that Latinos come in different colors. Lala, Celia Cruz, Christina Milian, Jennifer Lopez, Alexis Bledel, they have different looks but they’re all equally Latino.
