Q PARKER AND SON COVER URBAN LUX MAGAZINE

Q Parker of the now defunct R&B group 112 covers Urban Lux magazine with his son Lil Q a.k.a Quinnes Jr.  In the issue, the singer talks about balancing his music career and family life.

“Life is all about balance. Without balance your success is limited. Being very active in my son’s life is important to me, and giving him the best life possible is the reason why i go as hard as i do and persevere to succeed. My family means everything to me.”

I hope more black men see this and feel inclined to stay in the lives of their children if they already aren’t.

I had a crush on him back in the day..112 was a good solid group but they never reached their peak. His son look just like him.

I think over time our culture will change and Black men will become more involved in raising their children. We are seeing more father-child relationship stories in magazines and other reading materials geared to Black audience. Our Black men are standing up slowly but surely.
