Nahla is not white! She is biracial. Put her next to a white child and you will see a distinct difference. Nahla’s skin is darker than mine and I’m full black. She will not be accepted as being white eventhough she’s 75% white, who are you kidding? Stop being so ignorant. She is beautiful child period.
Looks like Halle finaly starting working out again.Good 4 her.And to the person who asked why Halle doesn’t comb her hair,well in my opinion I think Halle feels like since Nahlas is 75% white then she can just let it go and not have to comb or anything.
That’s right, lol. Nahla is white! It’s very apparent in this photo that this is not a black kid. I don’t know why people say she looks black. Put her next to a real black kid and the difference is remarkable. Black people need to realize when their DNA is water down and accept it and stop calling themselves “black” or their kids with other races, black. They are only fooling themselves.
Yeah but Halle reportedly said that Nahla is black and her dad gets so man when people refer to her as black.I think the both of them want her to call herself the race of the other,even though Halle calls her self black when is convient 4 her otherwise she’s just a women of color or some other term she can think of to avoid calling herself all black.EIther way I think of Halle as black and her daughter as multiracial lmaybe or just white since she is 75%.She just looks more tan because her father is french/Canadian as opposed to just a plain white guy.He is kind of tan himself.
HAlle is black to me because she looks it and I’d think of her as black and Nahla as mutiracial.ANd yeah Nahla is kind of tan I think becuase both her dad and mom are and her dad is Canadian/french as opposed to all white.
Nahla is cute! I think her hair looks fine its not frizzy or anything and I love her little curls. I know alot of adults who wear their hair in a messy pony tail like this especially when its hot outside. Soooo adorable!

I’ve got to find out the preschool she takes Nahla to because most discourage you from dressing the kids up in overalls especially at 3 and 4 due to potty training issues. The child can’t unbuckle the buckles and such. I always save my son’s overalls for wearing on the weekend.

I think my tolerance is getting extremely low. I am beyond tired of reading ignorant criticism regarding children’s hair, coloring, & race.
Half the people making those comments cannot even balance these kids checkbooks.
Nahla is an absolute GORGEOUS little girl

as for Nahla’s hair;it’s HER hair and HER mother NOT strangers who should worry about how it looks when she goes out in public.
If black women cared less about how their hair looked in public and focused more on the actual health of their hair;they wouldn’t suffer so damn much from hair loss;baldness and alopecia due to pulling the hair back way to tight and so much extensions and weaves.
Halle is probably using organic shampoos and conditioners for Nahla and that’s why her curly hair looks so shinny and healthy and beautiful.
Let Nahla’s hair be and focus on your own people!

I love Nahla’s coloring – not as a racial thing or a qualifier, it is not what makes her pretty or better than anybody. Just as an aesthetic, I love that sunkissed bronze thing she’s got going. I had a lot of White friends and this is definitely what they were going for when they laid out tanning for hours. Little Miss Nahla was born, perfectly bronzed, lol. She looks Brazillian.
Look at Nahla with her little backpack she looks so proud of herself. I’m glad she’s in preschool now and those overalls are too cute.

Well Maybe Halle does comb her hair in the morning, but shes what 3? so by the time theyre out in about especially after school, her hair may have come loose.

Idk if you have children but in my experience only about 1% or less children are as neat and tidy in the afternoon as they were went parents first dropped them off to school in the morning. You don’t know whether her hair is just wild and hard to tame. I have a niece who has hair like Nahla’s and she pulls out her hairstyles about 5 mins after she gets them done and she’s about to be 5 and her hair is NEVER neat.
I remember I had a cousin with that same hair texture and my Mom would say that she had “FLY-AWAY” hair and no matter how often it’s combed it never going to look polished unless there’s product in it, whis is just silly on a three year old.
MY neice has the same hair texture and I used to ask my sister the same thing until I kept hair one day and saw for myself…LOL!!
