UPDATE: 6/30/11: Congratulations are in order for actors Tia Mowry and Cory Hardrict. The couple welcomed their son Cree Taylor Hardrict on Tuesday in Los Angeles, her rep tells People. He weighed in at 8 lbs.
Mowry announced the pregnancy in January, telling PEOPLE she felt “sexy and empowered.”
Although baby has now arrived, Mowry’s pregnancy will be televised when she and her twin sister Tamera return to the airwaves on their new reality show, Tia & Tamera, premiering in August on the Style Network.

Man I feel so old. It was like it was only yesterday that I was watching she and her sister on the WB LOL. Now she is married and has a child. That is an awesome picture.
I know he’s a handsome little guy. Does the reality show mean that she won’t be returing to THE GAME? I hope not.

Interesting name. I never thought Cree to be masculine, but it’s okay. I actually like the middle name better. Best wishes to them on their journey of parenthood.

I love the name Pink named her baby,”Willow Sage” and I like Tia baby name too “Cree”, I also love the name “Monroe”. I like slightly unique or unisex names but not too far out there names. But I know everyone else might not..its really up to each person taste. I feel you on “Morrocan”..I’m not feelin that name too much.
@ Seriously…at first I was like WILLOW!! What is a WILLOW but that name has actually started to grow on me. I LOVE the name Morrocan..its UNIQUE and has a nice flare to it. What I’m NOT fond of is names like Apple, Cocoa, WOLF and Pilot…those are TOO over the top for me. I like names with meanings behind it. If you gonna call a baby Flower Petal make it mean something!!
Cree is a nice Native American name. It’s nice that they are honoring a Native American tribe if that is the purpose behind naming the child Cree. Meaningful and purposeful.
I didn’t know that it was Native American..I really like the name.
Cree is a group of First Nations people in Canada.

8lbs? Wow….my son was 8LBS 8oz….and it was a natural birth! Our bodies adapt and I sent right back to my fly shape and it was even better! So happy for her and Corey!
omg cant believe she already had her baby. seems like just a month ago i found out she was pregnant. her pregnancy seemed so short unlike mariah careys which seemed to go on forever lol. congrats girl i am sure he is gorgeous and she will be a good mommy

I checked her twitter and when she did not tweet for about 19 hours when I checked, I knew she was either in labor or had her baby. I checked her sister’s as well and she had not posted a twit for 14 hours and it confirmed it. Congrats to Cory and Tia. Can’t wait to see the photos!!!
