A FAMILY AFFAIR: TOYA AND MEMPHITZ’ WEDDING

The couple tied the knot last month in a lavish wedding ceremony, which aired this week on the season finale of “Toya: A Family Affair.” Check out photos from the blissful event now!
The wedding was an unforgettable event attended by several celebrities, including Matron of Honor Tameka Cottle-Harris(pictured in gallery below).

This is the second marriage for Mrs. Wright. Her first marriage was to rapper Lil’ Wayne, with whom she had Reginae Carter,12(pictured above).

i think memphitz really love’s toya i just hope she feel the same way about him and isnt still in love with wayne, because there are some good female out there that would love to be in her shoe’s i just hope she dont mess it up
I am so proud of Toya and how she has grown as a woman even from the days of the Tiny&Toya show. The love that she gives towards her family and friends is like no other. It is so amazing to be able to see the appreciation and the suppport that she has for her mother especially. No matter what, she loves her mother unconditionally and I know that god is looking down on her saying ‘job well done’. May Toya and her family be blessed for many days to come.
Toya is actually a very pretty woman.

Because if this was anyone else, they would have gotten all positive comments. you people can’t even be happy for her on her wedding day. Haters motivate, so keep doing you Toya. And I’m trying to figure out how her family is terrible. I know for a fact no one has a perfect family. Im sure none of your parents are either Mary poppins or Mr. rogers.

Congrats to Toya and Memphiz on making that move!! BLESSINGS TO THEM and their families! I am a believer if someone wasn’t there it WASN’T meant for them to be there and that’s the way GOD intended it to be so.
toya is a beautilful lady her baby girl reginae is too pretty she is adorable she looks like both parents wayne and toya she has a mixture but it is in a good way she def got looks from her mommy toya. she is such a nice little girl to me i love her personality and style such a cutie pie she is very well trained. memphitz daughter looks just like him that’s his twin she chocalte just like him he can’t deny that little chocalate girl. she is mini memphitz. those little girls don’t look nothing alike reginae is way cuter those she is a natural beauty. lil wayne better get his blade out in a few years

I am proud of Toya and truly happy she found love. Her and Memphitz make a beautiful couple and I hope they last forever. I must admit at first I wasn’t interested in the show but eventually it grew on me. I love what she is doing with and for her famly. God bless her.
Reginae and Memphitz’ daughter could pas for blood sisters, they look so much alike.
I love the pic with the girls, that is so precious. Memphitz seems like such a nice respectable man and he seems to love Toya and she looks so happy with him. Just beautiful!! I hope they have many years together.

Beautiful couple and wedding…Toya, as far as i know, is always reserved (granted that i do not watch her reality show). Does anyone know why her brothers did not turn up for the wedding?
@juice 1 of her brothers baby mother was in labor. and the other one had no way there. o and birdman daughter was not in the wedding.
Bria was apart of the wedding. If you watched the wedding on TV, you could see Bria standing next to Reginae while Tiny was walking down the aisle. She was on there for like a split second. if you blinked, you wouldn’t have seen her LOL. And you could also Memphitz daughters in the background but they had their faces blurred out. I guess their parents didn’t want them on the show, i was wondering why they never made an apperance
She didn’t go into details why her brothers didn’t show up. She said they got things going on but was upset they couldn’t put that aside for 1 day. But her little brother Rudy (the one she calls her baby) & her little sister were there & they were apart of the wedding. On the last episode, everything was good w/ her & all her brothers. but that was months before the wedding so something could have happened in between that time
According to another site Casey was in jail, Walter’s wife was in labor and not sure about Josh.

I kinda agree with but I think that Reginae is pretty she is the perfect combination of her parents her fathers eyes and her mothers smile.
wow….great job champion, will u be paying for therapy for these girls later if they read that. i mean come on be considerate. i love toya…loved this wedding, it was beautiful. i cried actually. im so proud of toya, feels like ive seen her grow so much since tiny and toya. i love the fact that she’s not just another ‘baby mama’, shes come so far from what she couldve been. and i think that she really loves him, shes just kinda reserved. i really dont think she wouldve married him if she wasnt feeling him like that

It’s a new Orleans/Louisiana thing the umbrellas are used for the second line! The bands in parades are called the first line and then the people that follow dancing and celebrating are called the “second line!” After funerals out here the family comes out first and then the band, and then the non family which is the “second line” walk the streets to celebrate the home going of a loved one/friend! Umbrella’s were initially used as shade from the blazing sun! After time they just became a symbol of celebration in New Orleans so at any major event wedding and funerals, parties, parades etc. you’ll see them!

It’s not an umbrella it’s called a parasol. It has been a part of southern apparel for years. Look at any old movies with Southern Belles and they will have a dress on with parasol in tow.

I think I am more amazed at how people are so deep into old wives’ tales or superstition. To each his or her own I guess.
Even after all that I still don’t get why the umbrella/parasol was opened indoors.
Was the roof leaking? Was the sun beating down on them? Is it to be cute? Now if that was the reason, she may have thought about that prior to taking a pic in her bra, but that’s just me. IJS.

I hear you but the woman should at least love him back. I’m not getting that from Toya. Not saying I’m correct, but I’m getting the feeling the reason she married him isn’t because she loves him.
I really like Toya, she is such a positive young lady. I just don’t have a good feeling about Memphitz though…he seems like a opportunist to me.

I watched the wedding on TV & it was cute! I liked when Reginae told her mom that if Memphitz ever hurt her, she’s gonna have to give him the hands LOL. Birdmans daughter was also one of the bridesmaids. I loved Toya’s show this season. She really helped putting her family on track. But i feel bad her brothers didn’t come to her wedding, especially since she went to her older’s brother wedding even tho she was kind of against it.

I saw it on her show Toya looked so pretty Reginae has major attitude Memphitz’s daughter favors Reginae I didn’t see her during the show. I wish them much happiness I really like Toya she’s a sweet person. Btw not feeling her brothers missing her wedding anyway they all looked lovely.
