can’t believe Eddie denied this little girl until dna was done she looks just like the rest of his kids. With that being said he gives good looking children.
Angel is a very pretty little girl. Her name is fitting.
Aww great pix…she’s adorable
Angel is so cute she’s my favourite bck !!!!
Did I say Angel wasn’t a pretty little girl? no I did not. I will not lie about her hair. She does have her father’s hair texture and every child’s hair does not grow……..regardless of race.
@itsmeyall, its not always what you say, but how you say it. Most people are insightful enough to read between lines too. But you are right, she does appear to have her father’s hair texture, there are many blacks with this hair, so what??? It is beautiful.
First of all, some of you need to stop lying. All african american kids hair does not grow and some mix kids hair doesn’t grow. Hell, some white kids hair does not grow. Angel hair is not the same texture as her mother’s. Like I said, she have her father’s hair texture and so does his other kids!!!! Yes, I can believe Mel’s mom is white. I have seen biracial people darker than Mel with coarse hair. I say what I want, I’m not up here to say what some of you want me to say.
How ya gonna keep something cut that doesn’t grow?plzzzzz, lmbto.
I LOVE Pheonix’s hair cut. It really suits her! Congrats Mel on your new baby!!
I’ve always loved Melanie’s tattoo.
Where’s Miss Giselle?
Most likely with her mother.
It truly saddens me to see black women exhibiting so much self hate! I am so proud to be black. My hair is natural and I embrace the sun. I am a shade lighter than Halle Berry and my hair is waist length and wavy . Guess what? Both of my parents are black…and proud of it. My sister is dark skinned with long natural, kinky hair. She is absolutely gorgeous and equally proud of her looks. There was NEVER any competition between the two of us in regards to appearance. My parents instilled self pride from day one. We NEVER discussed light skin versus dark skin. In our home, black is black and every shade is beautiful. I wish more black people had my upbringing and maybe just maybe all of the hateful comments regarding our features would cease. It is sad, really really sad. There are many dark children featured on this site that are drop dead gorgeous as well as biracial ones but the negative black comments ALWAYS commence when the darker ones are featured. We need to do better, like NOW! Maybe then, we will stop taking our hair out with relaxers, making the Koreans wealthy by buying up all straight hair to sew or bond onto our heads. Maybe we will stop the skin bleaching. God didn’t make a mistake when he made us. We can’t improve on his creation. Black women get in a hissy fit when black men are with non-black women yet we do everything in our power to look like them. Heck, why would they want a knock-off when they can have the real thing? If we show the world how truly beautiful we are as God made us, you would be surprised at the sttraction received. I get hit on constantly by every kind of man as does my sister. It is b/c we don’t look like the cookie cutter weave wearing sister. We embrace who we are and others appreciate that. It is only self-hating blacks that don’t. If you truly love yourself, you will see the beauty in all black. Angel IS beautiful from her hair to her skin. Let’s stop this!!
Well said…..BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL AND LETS EMBRACE IT….*enuffsaid*
*stands up and applauds*
Angel is such a beautiful girl…my sister loves her so much because she has to be one of the most angelic lil girl ever!
just goes to show that each pregnancy truly is different. both of her first 2 kids were early so you’d think her uterus would be used to this by now lol! but this baby is hanging on
love Angel’s look in these pics. she looks just like her name implies
Eddie Murphy daughter is pretty.org!!! I just love her and her sister. Mel looks great and I hope she has a healthy baby boy!
Angel is to cute, she could model or do tv. Of all Eddies kids she looks like she may have his talent.
I don’t understand why negative comments have to be directed toward Angel’s or Phoenix’s hair. Nor do I understand why it’s hard to believe that Mel B is biracial. Mel B and her children (and their hair) are beautiful and not every biracial person looks like Mariah Carey. Has anyone seen Seal’s and Heidi Klum’s kids lately?
Why do some people always have to dissect and negate what other people comment? Why can’t people respond to the picture of the celebrity featured and not be defensive or combative when other people express themselves which this blog is all about.
Why, oh why, huh? Answer that, will you?
Exactly I said the baby looked like Eddie and it’s like I’m being mean. I said please leave all the negative comments about Wade at the door somebody has something to say about that. I’ve come to the conclusion Pisces some people just doesn’t like some of us very much and I’m fine with that.
Hi Misunderstood. I agree with you 100% on all of your points. It is incredible how some people do develop strong “dislikes” for others commenting, even though they really don’t know anybody that they dislike.
Maybe it’s not the people that they actually dislike but some of them have causes and personal issues that some commenting on might strike a chord with these people in a negative way.
Let me stop trying to rationalize it because it is just crazy for people to believe they can say or feel one way while others can’t.
I’m like you, too, I really don’t care. Mel B. just doesn’t look biracial to me and neither does her husband, they look like light skinned African Americans, but I wish them the best of luck and I enjoy when BCK features them.
Ta ta and have a beautiful day and life, Misunderstood.
BTW I love the diaper bag gifted to Mel featured in one of the photos.
I don’t see how you were being mean, Angel looks 100% no exceptions just like Eddie. I don’t see the problem because I think Eddy Murphy is a nice looking person,
FROM NOW ON I WILL RESPOND TO JUST THE PICTURE BUT IF SOMEONE RESPONDS TO ME THEN I HAVE THE RIGHT TO DEFEND MYSELF. SO HERE IS ME RESPONDING TO JUST THE PICTURE. “THE PICTURE IS GORGEOUS. ITS SO NICE TO SEE A BEAUTIFUL BLACK FAMILY DOING WELL IN LIFE. THE LITTLE GIRL ANGEL IS SO PRETTY AND I LOVE HER LITTLE AFRO.”
Oh, but it’s “okay” to concede or imply that Eddie Murphy is just a “nappy headed Black man” and that’s where Angel inherited her hair texture from.
Just don’t talk about Mel B’s extensions and roots, God, forbid because she is half white.
This is a random comment…not a response to Victoria’s comment.
From the looks of Mel’s roots in this picture, it looks like Angel got her Mom’s hair, too. Maybe if her Mom hadn’t ever put a perm in the toddler’s hair it may look softer.
I can’t believe Mel’s mother is a White English woman. But yes, she sure enough is.
Angel’s hair looks soft and combed to me. I love the sponge on that cake i.e her fro’ is fierce!
Did you forget how Mel B use to look back in the Spice Girl times? She had that big curly bush. Back then it was easier to tell that Mel B is mixed & her hair texture was different than Angels (from what i can see). But she’s tracked up now & probably gets a relaxer to keep her curls down lol
@Pisces I have to agree with, I love Mel B, but let’s face it she wrecked Angel’s hair, she did too much of to it too soon. We know that the first time she cut it, it was because Angel got gum in her hair (I think she should’ve just cut it all off then and there) but then she straightened what was left, cut it again making the hawk part even thinner, and kept straightening it. Then we would see picutres where her hair looked uneven, unoiled, and just plain uncared for.
Her hair in these pics looks shorter because of the hairstyle she’s wearing, but we know from other’s that Angels hair is longer. I read somewhere that on average a person’s hair grows 1/2″ a month. Yes I do think some people’s hair grows faster than others, and I think a big part of hair growth is genetics. I think overall it takes time to grow your hair out, if that’s the look you’re going for. Some people (No matter what race they are) who have long hair, have been growing their hair out since they were born and have only gotten trims or one day decided they wanted long hair and put in the work it takes to get it which for some women can take years. (Side note: the older you get the more hair growth slows down)
I agree with you, too Victoria. They are still nice looking people and thank you for the info. You’re sweet and well informed.
Angel is so cute. Pheonix is getting big.
They maybe having a boy..most of the packages are in boy colors. The gifts Mel gave out are in pink & chocolate thou. Just hurry & have the baby so I can know for sure…dang..teasing me like this!
Little Angel is too cute.
Umm… did you not see the “frohawk” little Angel had. It grows and well. NEXT.
YES PEOPLE NEED TO STOP WITH THE NEGATIVE COMMENTS ABOUT BLACK CHILDREN’S HAIR. GUESS WHAT… ALL BLACK CHILDREN’S HAIR GROWS. AS LONG AS ITS TREATED RIGHT THEN IT WILL GROW. MY HAIR IS ALL THE WAY DOWN MY BACK AND ITS NATURAL!
@Celeste and Connie, agreed! These out of left field comments are getting tired. In the context of our own black aesthetics, Angel appears to have the ‘good hair’. It appears healthy, medium textured and full. Simply gorgeous as she is. What a little doll.
THANK YOU TICKLED. ITS NICE TO SEE THAT SOMEONE AGREES WITH ME ABOUT NATURAL BLACK BEAUTY. I GET BASHED ALL THE TIME FOR SAYING POSITIVE THINGS ABOUT MY BLACK RACE. ITS AMAZING.
Love the pics!!!
I think Angel is a beautiful little girl. She has GREAT facial features, and her personality is SO sweet! She is quite little lady, and is such a DOLL. With all that said, here hair is beautiful on her. She is perfect as she is!
Cute kids but what happened to the oldest hair?she had beautiful long curls before didnt she?Lol
Some people don’t want long hair.
I love them as a family, I’ve watched their show and they are well rounded…..congrats Mel!
im so glad that mel b stopped wit the crazy hairstyle on angel.shes so cute now
They’re such a beautiful family I’m sorry but Angel looks like Eddie Murphy Phoenix looks like her mom! I like Mel b but her family seems a little weird to me anywho congrats toooooo them!!
What’s wrong with looking like Eddie M? I think Phoenix looks like her dad, too.
Nothings wrong with looking like Eddie Celeste ppl on here r so sensitive! It’s usually misunderstood no she doesn’t and blah blah blah
Okay, okay. I’m off of it but Idris is mine! lol
Lmao ok boo if u say so wink wink
MISUNDERSTOOD, ITS OBVIOUS THAT ANGEL IS GORGEOUS. HER LITTLE AFRO IS SO CUTE AND HER FACE IS GORGEOUS. ALL OF EDDIE MURPHYS KIDS LOOK LIKE HIM AND THEY ARE CUTE. SO YOU HAVE NOTHING TO SAY SORRY ABOUT.
@Connie1 WHAT????????
@misunderstood you know Connie1 is Pro-black police in here lol. Talk about any kids hair, & she goes off on black kids & their natural hair & why it’s so beautiful & so on lmao. Its like people in here can’t have opposing views w/ out getting attacked or have your comment dissected smh
Anyways i like the card Mel B is holding in her hand “Keep Calm and Carry On” But i don’t like that baby shower cake. I always thought it was tacky when people get cakes shaped like purses (in this case diaper bag)
@Trisha..thanks..I thought that was a real diaper bag. I was saying to myself, “Self, why would a celebrity gift Mel with a cheap knock off?” I just noticed the knife in Mel’s hand. LOL!
You’re right thouh also about the dissecting and intolerance of others who comment.
If you aren’t drinking their “Kool-Aid” they want to to get out of Dodge.
THANK YOU TRISHA. I AM PRO-BLACK AND PROUD TO BE IT. YOU SHOULD BE PROUD TOO. I HAVE NOTHING BUT POSITIVE THINGS TO SAY ABOUT BLACK CHILDREN AND ITS SAD THAT I GET BASHED FOR SAYING GOOD THINGS. THOSE PEOPLE WHO SAY NEGATIVE THINGS GET PRAISED. ITS VERY SAD. MOST PEOPLE ON HERE SHOULD BE “PRO-BLACK”. DUH!
MISUNDERSTOOD, MAYBE YOUR JUST MISUNDERSTOOD! MAYBE YOU MEANT TO SAY SOMETHING POSITIVE!
I’m far from misunderstood what did u get out of my comment!!!!!!!!
