UPCOMING: EDEN SANAA DUNCAN-SMITH IS A BROADWAY STARLET
Eden Sanaa Duncan-Smith is an eleven-year-old Broadway star, but that’s not all. This young starlet is a singer, actress, poet, dancer, and philanthropist(her non-profit organization is called The Angel In The S.K.Y.E Network).
Last year, Eden made her Broadway debut as character Raynell Maxon in the 2010 revival of August Wilson’s Fences featuring Denzel Washington and Viola Davis; she was nominated for Best Performance in Live Theater at the 32nd Annual Young Artist Award. She just completed her run as young Nala in Disney’s Broadway production of Lion King.
In addition to acting, Eden is a trained dancer and has been asked to be a featured dancer for many professional dance companies and productions. Presently, Eden is a dance major and honor roll student at the Mark Twain School for The Gifted and Talented. Eden wants to either be ” a Supreme Court Justice, Chemist, Actor or Princess when she grows up.”

I wish her the best of luck! I love to see kids use their obvious talents while they’re young instead of waiting until they “grow up”. I had heard that the girl who played Nahla was sick. I hope she is okay.
WOW@Eden, How old is she? She has accomplished SO much and to be on Broadway and working with Viola (loved her in The Help) and Denzel is truly AMAZING! This will look good on her resume for sure.
OMG! This little girl is gorgeous.com. I love her..and I saw Lion King on Broadway. I don’t know if she is the girl but Nahla was funnier than young Simba (my opinion).

I love the name “Eden”. She is simply pretty.org and also talented. I wanted to see Lion King but it hasn’t came back to Chicago yet. I love Denzel she is blessed and talented young lady.
