USHER: ‘MY BOYS HAVE INHERITED MY LATE-NIGHT PERSONALITY’
Like many parents, rock-star dad Usher is having trouble getting his kids to go to bed at night. It appears that the singer’s sons, Usher Raymond V,3, and Naviyd,2, have inherited their dad’s ‘late-night personality.’
He told Hello! magazine recently: “What parent doesn’t have a hard time when their kid doesn’t want to go to bed? But I’ve been practicing. I’ve got a routine down pat with them – we read books, say our prayers and then it’s lights out for bed, after which they might ask for a glass of water or milk. You might think that the standard is a bit different for a rock star dad!”

“My boys have inherited my late-night personality and would love to blast their music and jump on tables if I let them.”
He added that fatherhood is his greatest achievement. “Given the adversity I’ve had in my life, I’m just happy to be alive, kicking and loving life the way that I am. But really my proudest accomplishment is having my sons.”
BCK Says: Parents, do you have any tips for Usher?

My love for Usher seems to be growing… There is something very sexy about a sexy man that loves his kid(s)!
yes indeed!!
I am not a parent yet, but I think Usher is an excellent dad too. His boys are absolutely adorable and I wish they were feature on here more often.
I have never had an issue with my son going to bed when he was younger. He slept from 7p-7a every night from age 1-9. It started with put you in bed, read you a story, lights out & I don’t want to hear a peep outta ya till morning. *shrug* worked for me.
Love Usher & his youngins. I’m so glad he is stepping up to being a dad & loving it.
