TAYE DIGGS TALKS FATHERHOOD, NEW CHILDREN’S BOOK & MORE
“I’ve never loved anything so much,” Taye Diggs tells USAWeekend of his two-year-old son Walker. “It comes to the point where it’s almost painful to realize that someone has you in such a vulnerable position.”
He adds of becoming a father, “If you’re a regular human being you wonder how you’re going to be as a father, if you’re going to wand to do all of the things that you’re supposed to do. It wasn’t until after the fact that I realized I fell into place. Nobody had to tell me. Things just started to happen.”
“There are all these books out there that tell you what to do, what a child has to have and ABCDEFG. But you look at other situations, I know amazing people that were born in single parent households, where the mother could only spend so much time. I’ve spent time with kids that had nannies. It’s all different. It’s the amount of love you can give and the quality of time.”
Speaking of books, Taye has a new children’s book in stores called Chocolate Me!, which teaches young kids about self-love and self-acceptance.
“You should be proud and embrace your differences regardless if its race or religion or if something is looked upon as a handicap,” Diggs says of the message behind his book.

I think the Middle-Eastern genes of Jewish people are very strong and dominant. You can see that in Maya Rudolph aswell, for example.
This kid definetely looks like his daddy too; he has some of Taye’s features. Besides, he would never look “all white” and he never did; his mother has olive skin. And he is cute no matter who he takes most after.
I don’t see Taye at all in that boy! Taye’s alright looking–he’s no Morris Chestnut or Jason Mamoa

Taye Diggs has a symmetrical face – very well aligned with good bone structure. He is VERY good looking. Great eyes, nice nose, great mouth and smile, and attractive shaped head … the man is very good looking.
