Ne-yo is a dad again! The singer and his girlfriend Monyetta Shaw welcomed their second child, a baby boy named Mason Evan, on Sunday(October 9th).
Mason Evan weighed in at 6 lbs., 10 oz. “Sal-u twit fam. If you are truly fam you’ll help me welcome the heir to my throne, born OCT.9TH at 6 pounds, 10 ounces! Mason Evan Smith!” the proud father tweeted today.
Ne-Yo (real name: Shaffer Chimere Smith) welcomed his first child, a daughter named Madilyn Grace Smith, in November of last year.

Okay i new a family that moved into the neighborhood and in the year and a half the lady was pregnant three times! they moved in while she was pregnant, had one while living there when they were leaving she was 7months pregnant! Hispanics love to make those Kids!

I love the name Mason too. When I was in my teens I had a huge crush on Mase…his real name was Mason Betha and I planned to name my son that one day lol.

Its interesting how people sitting in their homes in front of their computers assume Neyo is hiding something/has an arrangement when you are not a close friend/relative!People don’t care anymore how their words could affect others. Monyetta or her relatives could be reading this. I’m not a fan of this guy but i think you guys need to fix your problems before “assuming” someone else has one based on something Neyo said earlier!Sad how we’ve become so judgmental when we aren’t perfect
Monyetta is having back to back children with a man who clearly does not love her. A man who shot down rumors of them being engaged quicker than a hunter shoots down a duck. She & her family members need to get upset over that than over us mere sinners saying she has an agreement with Neyo.
I remember during an interview or event someone asked her (think it was the lady from sister to sister magazine but I can’t recall) if she was pregnant & she said no. I haven’t been keeping up with them but just thinking back on that, she was pregnant all along.

Me and my sister are exactly 11 months and 18 days apart but i was born at six months so I feel like that plays a major part in the age gap.
me and my sister are 10 months apart, she was born first and i followed ,i was born prematurely (a 28 weeker) ain’t nothing wrong with them having another child so early- each to their own- if memory serves me correctly their 1st born was a premi too… the two children will grow up together like twins virtually,the 2nd baby may even be quicker at developmental milestones when you have an older sibling around(even if it is only an 11 month gap)
To the both of you, the first child was a premiee, the second child was born on time; hence no excuse for having them back to back. Unless that is how it’s specificed in the agreement.
Children can still be close a year & hlf or two yrs & even 3yrs apart. They do not need to be stair steppers to have a close sibling bond.

kudos for her to having babies 11 months apart.after I had my daughter * getting busy * was the farthest thing from my mind for months.Neyo let that girl rest no need to have babies back to back like this.It took me months to build my iron up and to feel like myself again I have 5 month old.I couldnt imagine being pregnant and trying to take care of a baby this young.She still wakes up at night and the first trimester of pregnancy is brutal it seems like you are never fully rested.But now that I think about it they proably have a nanny so im sure she is getting the rest that she needs

Having kids 11 months apart isn’t that bad. They’ll be close growing up, their relationship might be strong. When they’re older, parents will get their house back to themselves faster lol

My aunt and uncle were 11 mos apart too. And when I were in school I knew two brothers that were 11 mos apart and we all thought they were twins bc they looked alike. And they would always try to explain to us, they werent but we didnt understand it bc we were kids..lol! It just mean there was some serious lovin’ going on @home.
Yep….everyone always thinks my boys are twins also. I always tell my husband “I blame you for them being so close together” and he says “you were there just like I was!” lol

In slavery days black people wasn’t given the rights to even marry and then when they were it was a chance that their spouses would have to move or get sold to a different owner and the wife had to stay with hers. Our culture take so many things for granted that our people fought and died for. It is sad! Hope that sums it up for everyone. Alot of these guys need to know their history and learn to respect the women and the children by getting married.
