DADDY DO GOODER: 50 CENT TO DONATE MEALS TO HUNGRY KIDS

Rapper and dad 50 cent has pledged to donate meals to hungry kids in exchange for Facebook ‘Likes’ on his Street King energy drink’s official page.

“People who want to help fight hunger are not being asked to donate or pay anything to help. It’s real simple. All they have to do is ‘like’ the Street King page on Facebook and I will give a meal to a hungry kid,” 50 Cent says.

The music entrepreneur promises that if Street King receives 1 million ‘likes’ by Sunday, he’ll donate an additional million meals to the United Nations World Food Program(WFP) charity. Want to help? Then ‘Like’ 50′s Street King energy drink’s official page.

People really need to stop hatin, it seems like people judge his every move ,if you want to help the children just like the page or you can donate YOUR own money, its as simple as that, I applaud you 50 cent!

Not liking someone does not make you a hater (people really need to expand their vocabulary). Nor does not approving of someone’s lifestyle, beliefs, behavior, etc.

    good job 50

Every celebrity has a gimmick whether they are as straight forward as 50 or not it’s the way things work. You don’t have to like it but it is what it is. I’m sure there are dozens of charities that 50 donates to that we know nothing about, besides that whether we like the page or not any donation any celebrity makes is a tax write off. I just think as people we spend too much time and energy on irrelevant stuff. (This is just an opinion)

But I don’t like 50 or his facebook page nor do I care about his (or anyone’s) energy drink. But I want him to donate the money so now what? can this man ever do something without it benefitting himself?

Sherley, I think you are right. This is a very odd way to “feed the children”. I think he is trying to promote his energy drink but I dont think he should be using poor starving kids to do it. If he truly wants to help the kids,he could just send them the food or money without holding a contest.

Well I am not on Facebook so I can’t like anything. Its a great thing he is doing but he doesnt need 1 million people to click and vote on it. I agree, just send the hungry children the food. I am sure he will do it regardless, hopefully.

Just when I thought he was changing! Anywho i guess it’s still a good cause it’s so many hungry kids in the world so kudos in a weird way!

why do people have to “like” is fb page? why dont he just write the check on his own and send the poor kids the food? thats what I would do if I had had money like him.
