Singer/actress Christina Milian was spotted out and about shopping, eating, and playing with her daughter Violet Nash in Miami, Florida on October 22, 2011. Milian looked like a rock-star mom in a Led Zeppelin tank with gold studs and a pair of slim black pants while Violet looked adorable in a printed ruffled dress.

    i have a question.
Why is it that most of these post have to do with the child’s hair?
She is a baby, she don’t care how her hair looks. so people type something positive and not shallow.
    p.s they both beautiful

  • Lisa October 25, 2011 at 10:03 pm

Violet is her dad child. She have nothing of her mom. I hope later Christine looks will come out.

  • TaizLady October 25, 2011 at 11:47 am

    Aww thats lovely

  • Justsayingthough October 24, 2011 at 10:35 pm

I love Violet, but on this day I think Christina is trying to get a reaction from “someone”..she’s a celebrity, so she knows her daughter’s pics will be everywhere..if Christina was looking “laid back”..I would say okay, but it looks intentional..I’m just saying.

  • Caddy Mac October 24, 2011 at 6:14 pm

I can honestly say if I was a celeb and I got photo’d every time I went out I would be the one looking crazy not my child. She is too beautiful for that. Christina makes herself all dolled up so that child needs to be the same way. She needs to let me be her nanny. Yawl would see a HUGE difference! -SMH!

  • Surprise October 24, 2011 at 5:48 pm

I like her daughters hair is looking a hot mess,it just shows Christina and her daughter are human like the rest of us. We all know, 9 times out of ten christnas baby is dolled up, she’s a kid for christ sake. Why is it a big deal, because she has celebrity parents. GEESH. JMO

I like Violet’s dress. She does seem to be having a bad hair day. A little moisturizer will help it.

    • EVELINA RAE October 24, 2011 at 3:04 pm

      It’s from the Gap.

I agree, her head is looking thirsty :(

  • Dale October 24, 2011 at 2:20 pm

Oh my, at two my daughter’s hair looked just like this, if not worst. I guess I wasn’t taking very good care of my daughter’s hair either, smdh. People please, stop comparing. My daughter is now 5, didn’t change how I did her hair, and her hair is perfectly fine. Her hair isn’t the “good” hair as so many of you guys like to see, but it is healthy, half way down her back and NO, we do not put a relaxer in it. In fact as a little girl my hair looked the same way. People use to get on my mom for not “doing” my hair all the time which she did, I was just a lil wild.

  • bck reader October 24, 2011 at 2:14 pm

look at Violet wit her cute little stout self :-P mom looks like she’s struggling to carry that one. honey put some shoes on her, put her down, hold her hand, and call it a day lol! and i’ma need her to stop pulling her hair back into ponytails. her edges look like they’re getting snatched up. i appreciate that she at least takes the time to try and do her daughter’s hair, but there is such a thing as too much styling. nothin wrong wit letting it all hang loose, put a nice little baby headband or a cute little bow in the front just for kicks. but these tight ponytails might be a bit too much for her hair.

  • Jesus October 24, 2011 at 2:02 pm

If my people which are called by my name will humble themselves pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and heal their land.

Don’t look at others seek Me for yourself.

There is heaven there is hell, you choose. I love you.

    • Pisces October 24, 2011 at 2:11 pm

So now we know what Jesus would say (or said) in this situation. Thank goodness, Jesus, you had hair that that was described as “wooly” in the Bible text and shampoo and conditioners weren’t discovered yet when you walked the Earth.

You probably had dread locks for the most part so you can relate to modern day cultures who have hard to manage locks.

Thou art a forgiving God who made us in your image.

      Amen!

      • Pisces October 24, 2011 at 2:30 pm

Like Christ, all the founders of world religions had woolly, kinky, nappy hair according to the Bible, and in (Dan.7:9) even GOD is described as having “hair like the pure wool”.

Don’t forget, God made His Son and man (woman) in His Image, meaning looking like him. We are Perfect.

But Jesus, you know this already right? That’s why you picked a Black blog to visit because we are your favorite, yes?

        Thanks for your blessings today.

      • EVELINA RAE October 24, 2011 at 3:07 pm

        Haha

    • Lotus October 25, 2011 at 9:17 am

You need to quit. Jesus ain’t hardly on BCK. Spread whatever positive message you want but don’t use HIS name in vain.

  • Truth October 24, 2011 at 1:59 pm

I said she need her hair did because as a mother I wouldn’t go outside with MY hair like that so my baby would be looking as good as if not better then me. Now I don’t care how the rest of ya’ll was raised but I was taught to never some outside looking like nobody loved me.

  • Misunderstood October 24, 2011 at 1:58 pm

I this Violet is a doll baby! I wore ponytails everyday from a baby until I was 10 and my hair is thick as I don’t know what! Violet is one of my fav she so fat and cute! I notice she wasn’t wearing any shoes either and they also didn’t show Christina’s boo!

  • t October 24, 2011 at 1:49 pm

She really shouldn’t pull her hair so tight. It’s going to thin out and break off and have a hard time growing back. Regardless of texture, its not healthy for a young child.

  • Common Sense October 24, 2011 at 12:48 pm

@ luvthatkidd … ummm what exactly makes Jennifer’s daughter have a “beautiful” grade of hair? What makes Violet’s hair “somewhat nappy”? Please do answer! But then again never mind! You are ignorant beyond words. And I’m speechless at your ignorance. *sigh* :-(

  • Karen October 24, 2011 at 12:28 pm

Violet is such a cutie pie!

  • Nikki October 24, 2011 at 11:57 am

I have no issue with the texture/grade of Violet’s hair. My issue is that you can clearly see the breakage around the perimeter! Christina is going to need to style her hair another way. You never see a child’s hair at this age broken off like that!!!!!

  • Da October 24, 2011 at 11:15 am

Her hair is pretty awful some pink lotion would make her curls glisten. I question Chrisitina’s parenting…it seems for show but not genuine. How do you all feel about Violet meeting chris new boyfriend?

  • Yours Truly October 24, 2011 at 10:57 am

That baby looks fine. She doesn’t have to be dolled up everyday people. Sheesh!

  • Pisces October 24, 2011 at 10:32 am

Christina and Violet look so sweet. Cute little dress. I would brush the baby’s hair every day even if it’s pulled back in a ponytail. I think those twists Violet’s been wearing have damaged her hair a bit. It’s still growing though and she’s still cute as a button.

  • Trisha October 24, 2011 at 10:02 am

People in here are acting like Violet always looks like this. This baby is always put together. Her hair is always in place, her clothes & shoes are always neat. The baby has 1 off day in her 2 yrs of life & people are ready to kill Christina lol. They could have had a long day of being out & this is the end of the day hair look. Yall remember those days of being a kid & you went to school w/ her looking right but came home looking like you got in a fight lmao

    • princess0609 October 24, 2011 at 3:25 pm

Agreed Trisha. I send my daughter to school looking put together, she comes home looking like no one loves her some days lol. My youngest leaves out put together and comes back with bows missing and hair out of place.(shrugs) Like you said christina always takes pride in violets appearance and oneday she looks a little off and these people are going crazy. I also agree that this is probably towards the end of the day. Violet has napped on her hair and got tired of her shoes. Times like this makes me appreciate not being a celebrity!!!

  • Sherley October 24, 2011 at 10:02 am

Violet know she is too cute. I saw a few more pictures on another site & the one where she was walking towards her mother for a piece of candy was so precious.

Does anyone else notice Violet is walking around without shoes? The stuf on the ground..eww.

  • mariebal October 24, 2011 at 9:42 am

why do people insist that kids have hair in “elaborate” and unnatural styles. Leave that for adults. I think that Violet’s hair and jennifer freeman’s daughter have nice “natural” hair-her daughter has soft hair nice hair. Kids should not have their hair pulled tight- they will get traction alopecia which is thinning hair accompanied by bald patches due to hair pulled tight. Hair is also susceptible to breakage. Not a cute look, many adults who wear their hair tight in a ponytail for example or braids have thinning hair. Not a good look. Maybe Violet should have a headband on- this won’t ruin her hair- but pulling it tight in a knot on her head will

    • kc October 25, 2011 at 1:05 am

And she barely has hair yet so what can you really do with it besides leave it alone.

  • TheyKnow October 24, 2011 at 9:23 am

I love the tank Christina has on. Violet is a dollbaby as usual!!

  • NaiyaJ October 24, 2011 at 9:09 am

LOL! Maybe she was in a rush and just grap a pony and wraped it around her hair instead of a bow. You never know. As a parent with a daughter hair takes time and in a rush you have to do what you have to do.

  • Britt October 24, 2011 at 8:43 am

I don’t understand what is “wrong” with Violet’s hair. No one has said anything about the girl from “My wife and kids” daughter’s hair.

    • TheyKnow October 24, 2011 at 9:24 am

      I agree with you!!

    • Karlisa October 24, 2011 at 9:38 am

Thats because nothings wrong with her hair and nothings wrong with this childs hair its still growing in so just chill out people and I agree with @Janice Andrea she needs to stop putting the stuff the girls hair just let it be natural it dont even look curly or knotty its just thick Violet is a gorgeous girl she looks so much like her daddy its ridiculous. Man nobody can do anything with their child without peoples critisism. She should just let that child be shes a baby nothing you can really do with her hair anyway but put a bow in it and say good day.

      • Karlisa October 24, 2011 at 9:43 am

O and Jennifers daughter and Violet has different hair textures so you know nobody is going to complain about her hair because its soft and curly you know how bck readers are biased about certain types of hair.

    • Sherley October 24, 2011 at 10:04 am

Maybe people mentioned it because Violet looks to have what appears to be a bald spot. That could be caused from the pressure of having her hair in a ponytail constantly.

Violet’s hair should be more like Kenzo’s hair in the other post.

    • NickyAngel October 25, 2011 at 1:34 am

I agree with u…Violet obviously has got curly hair…that doesn’t stay in the ponytail…

Regardless, this child is too cute…and Christina is one hot momma :-)

  • Seriously October 24, 2011 at 8:19 am

Christina is Gorgeous! I think she could have put a bit more effort in with Violet on this particular day. I believe if a parent is looking nice then so should the child and Christina always dresses and carries herself nicely.

  • kayla October 24, 2011 at 6:40 am

That baby seems like shes not growing. I feel like shes been the same size for 2 years…

    • jess October 24, 2011 at 12:01 pm

She’s definitely not small for her age, she’s a big girl..probably had a big growth spurt and now isn’t growing as much. perfectly normal for that age.

  • JaniceAndrea October 24, 2011 at 3:24 am

Regardless violet is precious, and she just has a thicker quality of hair than her mother. Jer mother will get use to it with time.

  • Truth October 24, 2011 at 2:07 am

She needs to comb that baby’s hair

    • JaniceAndrea October 24, 2011 at 3:16 am

She needs to stop putting her hair up in a ponytail. She’s going to break her hair off, all that baby needs are all natural oils to moisturize and that’s it.

      • Sherley October 24, 2011 at 10:02 am

        Agreed.
