LIFESTYLE: INSIDE THE CANNON TWINS’ NYC NURSERY

We saw their LA nursery a few months ago, and now get details on Moroccan and Monroe Cannon’s NYC nursery:

Being Mariah’s kids has its perks! On Oct. 21, Mariah Carey and her husband Nick Cannon debuted their gorgeous twins to the world on 20/20. Now, Life & Style brings you inside Moroccan and Monroe’s (nicknamed Roc and Roe) luxurious NYC nursery filled with Roberto Cavalli designed matching outfits, plush stuffed animals and AFK cribs worth $3,594 a piece!

“I wanted to create a beautiful, tranquil, cozy environment,” Mariah tells Life & Style of their two beautiful nurseries in their Bel Air Mansion and Tribeca penthouse in NYC.

“Designing the nurseries with Gail Sedigh of AFK Furniture and Mario Buatta was so challenging because I had such specific ideas I wanted implemented,” she tells Life & Style. “I feel like I’m bringing two individuals into the world, so I wanted to do more than cookie-cutter styles in blue and pink.”

So the singer made sure to encompass everything she desired.

But no gift is greater than being a mom. “I feel so doubly blessed to have such a perfect start to our family,” Mariah gushed. “It’s perfect — it couldn’t be better.” (Source)

It’s not as extravagant as I thought it would be…but still beautifully done…:-)

I agree with seriously. If I had the money I would buy the best.

  • Seriously October 26, 2011 at 9:19 pm

Nice..I think if I had their money, I would get the best very for my kid. You get whatever your money can buy..

I must admit that I dont like their nursery. The plaid and floral print reminds me of my grandmother house in the early 80′s and the colors just dont pop. Beautiful babies, ugly nursery :(

Nursery looks very luxurious and like I’d expect Mariah to make it but it doesn’t look attractive or inviting for a baby. It also doesn’t reflect Nick at all.

What child’s nursery ever reflects the father?

To be born rich and famous and not even know yet….

    The nursery is gorgeous.

  • Misunderstood October 26, 2011 at 2:32 pm

I don’t give a damn how rich they r to pay almost 4 thousand dollars for a crib that they can’t use forever is crazy as hell!

    • Sherley October 26, 2011 at 3:03 pm

Misunderstood..didn’t you read what Mariah said? She wanted beautiful, tranquil & cozy. One can’t get those from a K-Mart crib.

    • Shaydy Oakz October 26, 2011 at 3:26 pm

Yeah..KMart cribs shake and cause head traumas..who wouldve known the high shakin baby syndrome rate from those KMart cribs..(sarcasm)

      • Sherley October 26, 2011 at 5:27 pm
