  1. what a voice, what a great performance! I was blown away. In the late 1950′s I worked at the Adelphi theatre in London and one afternoon Jack Hylton brought a young lady to audition for the show, she passed and sang that night, she was Shirly Bassey, and she blew me away, and I felt priviledged to hear her. Now its 2013 and I just watched Alyah win in Holland and had the same emotions. What power, what presence, and what a great attitude. Cannot wait to learn and hear more of this exceptional young lady!!

  2. We loved Aliyah performance, she did a great job. She is a beautiful little girl with a big voice and Iam waiting on her to come to the U.S.A.

  3. I’m gonna be the odd one out and say this but…having some experience in vocal training-

No doubt she is beautiful and has a wonderful voice BUT she needs a lottt of work. She definitely has the potential , she is great to be only 11 but if she wants to make a career out of this she needs a lot more vocal training to improve her control and pitch.

Lots of potential and she did a great job!

  4. Wow! God and the Devil speaks to us through music. She is a “perfect” example of God! if u were moved to tears. wow! Beautiful little girl with a beautiful voice.

  5. OMG! This child is absolutely beautiful, voice and all! Her dresses are so elegant and age appropriate. I know her family is proud!

  6. Wow, that mom’s got three beautiful kids! I just love how loving & compassionate they are towards each other…I can only hope & pray that my kids will be like that( when I have them).

  7. Dang…i had no idea just how similar Dutch is to Afrikaans- i mean, i could understand the exchange :)
Anyway, i am glad that this young lady won- she’s truly talented and beautiful! oh….and totally sweet from what i can see.

  8. One word to describe Aliyah… TALENTED!

This little girl is so humble and talented. I cried! She can sing her butt off! GO GIRL! Congrats to you on your win! Ellen should have her on her show. If she can have those two little girls rapping to Nicki GARBAGE’s music, then she can have her on there. Make an arrangement for Whitney Houston to be there and hear her sing. That would be a beautiful surprise!

  9. I had tears running down my cheeks while watching this! I prefer her version to Melanie Amaro’s on X factor and this is coming from a big melanie fan

  10. Ok, I teared up as soon as she started singing..she has a long career ahead of her..she has
the voice, poise, beauty etc..she needs to be given her contract immediately!

  11. Update: Aliyah won the finale of Holland’s got Talent yesterday, Friday 16 September 2011.
