You know what??? I used to like Fantasia Barrino alot. I know about all the drama surrounding her relationship & I do not approve. But who cares what I think? I don’t think this woman should have the joy of celebrating a new child overshadowed by what we all think of her & her choices.

If they don’t want her to play Mahalia that’s fine but the bottom line is it’s Fantasia’s life and she has the live it the way she wants to. The baby is almost here and that is something to celebrate weither other people like it or not. I don’t agree with alot of her choices she has made but I wish her and her family nothing but the best!

Gemma’s an Italian/Latin name that means “Jewel”. It’s pretty popular in Europe and not too uncommon among many American families that are of Italian, British, Dutch, or even German heritage. I like the name, but I might be a little biased since I also have a cousin named Gemma.
So, basically, Gemma Rose (name of Kristin’s daughter) means “Jewelled Rose”.

I’m not even mad at Fantasia..I truly do not have an opinion regarding her current situation. I believe she is slow & needs proper guidance. Obviously her mother & grandmother couldn’t reach her, hopefully someone else does before she sinks further.
The production team should not be worried about an actress messing up Mahalya’s image. She is a wonderful person & no one can taint that. Besides, if all actor’s personal lifes were taken into account for a role, we wouldn’t have many movies. IJS.
I never doubted Draya was arrested for child endangerment. Her mother now has full custody of her son. So she is able to freely frolice in LA..at least he is safer. She does have visitation rights.
No comment on a child I do not know being spoiled or not.

I believe that instead of you all talking about her you need to pray for her. Her baby is a blessing from God and everyone makes mistakes even yall so stop making it seem like no one makes mistakes. Also she aint the one to blame its his ass. He didnt tell her he was married and he is the one who cheated. Also I believe she knew she was prego when she tried to hurt herself. But like I said God is the only one who can judge.They will need to make this up to God not the world mind yall business.

Swizz had a baby on Mashonda way before A.K did. He cheated on Mashonda with the UK woman and they had a daughter. That little girl almost the same age as Mashonda son so no, A.K didnt ruined their marriage, that marriage was over way before A.K came into the picture. And at Swizz at least finalized his divorced with Mashonda and married Alicia. That is something Antuan still hasnt done. He is still married to his ex-wife to this very day. Is it any of our business? No,but when you are a public figure, your business will be everywhere and that is how it is nowadays. And I hope the baby is healthy and has more common sense then both of his parents.

You’re right, it is the same! Alicia and Swizz, Brad and Angelina did the same as Fantasia. I actually held Alicia to higher standards than Fantasia… And I hate when people say “but Swizz had already cheated on Mashonda with other women before A. Keys” as though that makes it ok… Many married couples have attempted to repair their marriage after infidelity. They were still married and living together, so Alicia may not be the only hussy but she’s still a hussy!

antuan is definitely using fantasia she just doesnt see it because of his looks. but down the rode it will come to light. I still love fantasias voice though but very disappointed by her decisions lately. most likely the drayas story is true but she’ll have to learn from that mistake but people shouldnt beat her down for it especially those horrible so-called basketball wives. draya needs to stay clear from them.

Mahalia Jackson was saint-like. She opened the door for people like Fantasia in the entertainment industry.
Miss Mahalia’s family is right..I’m not saying that a saint has to portray the great singer, but why go to the other end of the spectrum a wanton hussy/strumpet for the role?
Mahalia Jackson is world recognized for her famous gospel renditions. Who knows, on the other hand, if Fantasia can pull it off she may win an Academy Award like her “American Idol” cohort Jennifer Hudson. It could happen.

I am so glad we are not the final judge and jury for Fantasia! She is not the first person, nor will she be the last to sleep with a married man, and become pregnant! She is a human, not a saint! No it does not make it right but because Jesus died for our sins she is forgiven. Let he that is without sin cast the first stone!!! I think we all have did some things we aren’t proud of, sad for her she’s in the public’s eye! I pray for a healthy birth!!!

Just a little trivia…Mahalia Jackson’s great-nephew, Danny Granger, is an NBA basketball player for the Indiana Pacers.
It is really wonderful that a movie is being done about the “Queen of Gospel’s” life, keeping her relevant to American and Black history.

Actually, when & if Fantasia askes for forgiveness for whatever it is, then she will be forgiven. One does not get automatically forgiven for all the sins they committ simply because Jesus gave his life for us. We have to realize what we did was a sin, accept, repent, ask God for forgivness & do not repeat the same act.

Being that Fantasia stated on numerous occasions that she was born, raised, and is a Christian. I can only hope that she has asked for forgiveness. That’s something we will never know. My concern is how we as society are quick to judge others.
