GWEN STEFANI’S NEW COLLECTION HAS THE CUTEST MODELS AND CLOTHES!

Singer Gwen Stefani released a new clothing line over the weekend. Fashioned after Japanese culture, “Harajuku Mini” is designed for children. Parents will enjoy the innocent yet classy style that the clothing line brings.

PHOTOS: Paula Patton And Family Attend Harajuku Mini For Target Launch

Offering clothes that allow children to dress as little ones, Harajuku offers variety to boys and girls. Girls can have their choice of tutus, dresses, pants, skirts, and adorable shirts. Boys also have a broad selection with tees, corduroy pants, and socks that fit the kid profile.

Contrary to some children’s lines that are too expensive or not available in popular retail stores, Harajuku Mini is both accessible and affordable. All outfits are under $100, and can be purchased at any neighborhood Target.

With affordability, variety, and accessibility on her side, Gwen’s new collection could be the hit of the holidays.

  • Zgirl November 16, 2011 at 11:44 am

I love the girls clothing! But I have 2 boys and I wanted to get my 5 year old a couple of her things. I was dissapointed at the small selection of boys stuff online and at the store, and the boys stuff only goes to 5T size. There were only 2 long sleeve tshirts (with super cute graphics) ,a white button up shirt, 2 pairs of pants (Veeeeerrrrry skinny), 1 hoodie (very tight) and a blazer for boys. All the boy stuff was $20.00 each, not bad prices, except IMO the tshirts should be cheaper.
I sure hope she does more for boys…..I thouhgt that was the whole idea of her line since she has 2 boys who dress cool and funky and are recognised for their fashions. Its easy to make girls look cute…I’m a fan Gwen but I hope you do better than this. And make BIGGER sizes!

Are you serious? You don’t know who Gwen is? You never heard of No Doubt? How old are you? Lol Gwen is amazing. YouTube her. Her solo songs were the best, especially the ones w/ the reggae beats. Her sons are not mixed but she loves the Jamaica culture so each of the boys have names that reflect that. Her 2nd boy has the same middle name as bob marley

        • Seriously November 14, 2011 at 8:36 pm

Oh ok..I vaguely remember No Doubt from when I were a child. I have to google her to see her face and it should refresh my memory some. But I dont remember the group off head that well. I wonder why she love the Jamacian culture so much..thanks for filling me in.

        • Seriously November 14, 2011 at 8:45 pm

Oh yeah, I just googled and her and yes I do remember her. I forgot her name. I liked a few of there songs..the 90s were a great time for all genres of music.

  • EVELINA RAE November 14, 2011 at 2:25 pm

Gwen wishes she were black, lol, naming her son Kingston after Jamaica’s capital and Zuma’s middle name, Nesta, after Bob Marley’s middle name. I ain’t mad at her black is beautiful :)

    Nice Collection!

    • Trisha November 14, 2011 at 4:12 pm

There are plenty of white people in Jamaica. You could have said she loved the Jamaican culture b/c you linked loving black people w/ Jamaica. Those are 2 different things lol. Gwen has talked about in the past how much she loves the Jamaican culture. I love my jamaican culture & smile when people who aren’t jamaican feel the same way. My moms dad is a white jamaican, We have a family friend that is Asian-Jamaican (he, along w/ his parents was born & raised in Ja), my aunts husband is Indian-Jamaican. Jamaica is big melting pot of different ethnicity. Not just black. Which is why our food is so yummy! lol. Gwen also loves the Japanese culture.

      • EVELINA RAE November 15, 2011 at 12:00 pm

My father’s grandfather, so my great-grandfather, was a jewish man that lived in Jamaica and had kids ect., so I hear what you’re saying, but Bob is black and so are the majority of the famous Jamaican, so I stand by what I said. :)

      • hello! November 15, 2011 at 1:54 pm

Hello …. Kingston was originally a place in England. Jamaica was a colony of England thus a lot of locations within Jamaica have names reflective on this. Hello … if you are from Jamaica you should know this.

        • Trisha November 15, 2011 at 9:02 pm

What does that have to do w/ my comment :/ LOL. I’m aware of where the places in Jamaica get there names from. But Gwen has stated she named her son Kingston b/c its the capital of Jamaica.

& Evelina, Bob is half white. His dad was white & his son’s mother, Damien Marley, was i believe Miss Jamaica back in the day & she was white

          • hello November 17, 2011 at 12:08 pm

Please, Damian’s mom is NOT white!

  • Trisha November 14, 2011 at 2:11 pm

I love the clothes. Gwen’s boys are so cute!

That little girl posing w/ Gwen is the cutest little girl! She looks like a doll baby

  • Lianne November 14, 2011 at 1:43 pm

The oldest girl in the plaid reminds me of Kimora’s daughter, Ming. I actually did think it was her at first, until I saw the enlarged photo.

    Love all the clothes.

    • Jess November 14, 2011 at 1:44 pm

That little girl must be extremely successful, I’ve seen her all over the fall ralph lauren kids ads! gorgeous child!

    • What?! November 15, 2011 at 9:14 am

Yes! I thought it was her at first too.

  • jessica November 14, 2011 at 1:41 pm

Love the black and silver dress in the 1st pic. Great holiday dress.

  • And Her Name Is Me November 14, 2011 at 1:39 pm

The girls clothes are cute. I’m not feeling the outfits her boys had on.

  • lala November 14, 2011 at 1:30 pm

    They are so cute!

  • S. November 14, 2011 at 1:23 pm

    Cute!

Gwen is never afraid to use models of any ethnic background… kudos to her

However, I wouldn’t have a lil Black girl wear a t-shirt with a lil blonde character on it… nope!

    • amerie November 14, 2011 at 2:47 pm

what difference does it make if your daughter wears a shirt with a blond girl on the front.Black people are always making a big deal out of nothing

      • CocoChanel5 November 14, 2011 at 7:32 pm

to me it is a big deal, you want your kids to have pride in who they are and have an accurate representatin of themselves or a least a dipction of their likeness on their clothing, its not like a doll or something of that nature. I would not let either of my daughters wear a shirt with a big picture of a white girl on the front period. this helps with self esteem and pride in who they are as well.

        • gbaby November 14, 2011 at 10:34 pm

i really dont think its a big deal what skin color or hair color doll/character is on my son/daughters clothes. Its better for them to be “color blind” and not worry about “i cant wear that shirt because the character is not same color as me”. Would it be wrong if a white kid wanted to wear a princess and the frog t shirt or if a black kid wanted to wear a hannah montana t shirt. its completely rediculous kids should not worry about the skin color or hair color of the characters on their clothing. Its a shirt for god’s sakes it does not reflect what a child wants to be or is for that matter! damn lighten up people.

          • Abc November 15, 2011 at 12:48 am

I was just watching a commercial for the this and the character on the shirt is supposed to be Gwen so it’s their to represent the designer. It really not that big of a deal though

        • totally agree! November 15, 2011 at 1:49 pm

I totally agree with you CoCo! I only let my daughter wear shirts with girls that look like her, I don’t care. Old Navy is very good for that.

        • BestGodMommy November 15, 2011 at 11:08 pm

Those of you that have a problem with the blonde character on the shirt need to get real & stop acting like Al Sharpton. Its a CHARACTER ON A SHIRT! And its a representation of the woman that designed the line so if you are “too black” for the blonde character then dont purchase that merchandise. Simple.
And if your child has self image issues so badly that you cant buy them non-black character adorned clothing then you need to adjust your parenting.

I, for one, plan to purchase items from that line b/c 1. Its cute 2. I love Gwen Stefani 3. Its reasonably priced. My godchildren will look cute…blonde character & all!

          • JessicaM November 16, 2011 at 11:13 am

I agree with the others above. I wouldn’t let my daughter wear this shirt either. I like for her to see the beauty in herself and her heritage. The other clothes are cute, but if my child wears a picture of a little girl, I want it to look like her. How many little white girls wear clothes with black kids on them? Have you seen the research done on little black girls that chose the white doll over the black one? They felt the white dolls were prettier than the black dolls. Nope. Not my child! I refuse to try to sound politically correct and pretend it doesn’t exist bc it does.

          • BestGodMommy November 19, 2011 at 2:51 am

I shouldve expected this post to go all racial. Its about childrens clothes, people. Why does it matter who is on it? I grew up playing with white barbies and I am perfectly fine with my beautiful black skin.
I dont think little girls start being concerned with that until their “pro black” parents start putting those thoughts into their head. Teac your girls that people of any race or color can be beautiful. Stop focusing on trying to make black women superior because you’re black. Appreciate everyone’s beauty.
